Lindsey Graham Tried To Troll Biden On Twitter And It Backfired On Him BIG TIME

There was a time not so long ago when Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) had nothing but praise for President Joe Biden, hailing calling him “as good a man as God ever created.”

These days, however, no matter what Biden does, Graham is quick to attack him and suggest that he’s not nearly as effective as head of state as failed, one-term former President Donald Trump was.

Such is the case with a tweet Graham sent out referencing remarks Biden made on Thursday while at NATO headquarters in Brussels. Specifically, the president noted that Trump’s “both sides” comment after the Unite the Right rally in 2017 was what convinced him he needed to run in 2020.

That led Graham to weigh in with this:

“As Ukraine burns, President Biden is talking about Charlottesville and domestic politics. Very sad.”

That was more than many Twitter users could take, and they quickly slammed Graham for being a two-faced hypocrite.

WATCH The AG Of Alabama Make A Fool Of Himself When Asked If Biden Was ‘Duly Elected’

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall appeared at the request of Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify at the confirmation hearings for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson on Thursday, and he quickly made a complete fool of himself when asked a simple question by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI).

The question Whitehouse asked was:

“Is Joseph R. Biden of Delaware the duly elected and lawfully serving president of the United States of America?”

Questions don’t get much easier than that. The only question that would have been equally as much of a slam dunk for Marshall to answer might be “Does two plus two equal four?”

And yet, Marshall couldn’t answer the query from Whitehouse, remarking:

“He is the president of this country.”

The senator asked again:

“Is he the duly elected and lawfully serving president of the United States?”

At that point, Whitehouse paused for a second and asked Marshall if he was deliberately omitting “duly elected and lawfully serving” from his response.

Marshall:

“I’m answering the question. He is the president of the United States.”

Once more, Whitehouse ran the question by Marshall:

“You have no view as to whether he was duly elected or is lawfully serving?”

The AG replied:

 “I’m telling you he’s the president.”

Cleary disgusted, Whitehouse said:

“No further questions.”

It probably won’t surprise you to learn that Marshall is up for reelection in November and is clearly trying to curry favor with Republican voters who still support failed, one-term former President Donald Trump and his “Big Lie” that the 2020 election was stolen from him. It wasn’t, but the GOP has to pretend it was so Trump doesn’t say mean things about them.

WATCH Sen. Chris Murphy Shut Down Chuck Todd For Complaining That Biden Called Putin A ‘War Criminal’

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) wasted no time shutting down “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd on Sunday when Todd suggested that President Joe Biden had made a mistake when he called Russian President Vladimir Putin a “war criminal” this week.

Todd asked Murphy:

“President Biden called Putin a war criminal this week. There are a lot of people who agree with that assessment but question whether the president himself should have personalized it. Where are you in this?”

The senator replied:

“I don’t think you can do anything other than call Vladimir Putin a war criminal He is! I mean, what he’s doing right now as we speak, targeting children, maternity wards, schools inside Ukraine clearly crosses a line.”

That led the NBC host to follow up by inquiring:

“We’re going to negotiate with a war criminal? That is what’s difficult here, right? We didn’t negotiate with [former Serbian President Slobodan Milošević].”

Murphy:

“President Biden is showing moral leadership just like President Zelenskyy is showing moral leadership. There are a lot of Republican colleagues now who are using their time to criticize President Biden, vote against Ukraine aid on the floor of the House and the Senate while President Biden is standing up there saying and doing the right thing.

“So I’m proud of President Biden for drawing a moral line against Vladimir Putin. I’d rather have my Republican colleagues supporting him rather than attacking him.”

There can be no doubt that Vladimir Putin is a war criminal. Anyone who orders the bombing of residential areas, uses cluster bombs, and doesn’t care if his troops target women, children, and the elderly is beyond the pale.

When Russia’s illegal and immoral invasion of Ukraine is over with, Putin needs to be dragged of of the Kremlin and placed on trial for crimes against humanity. If he’s found guilty, he should face the same fate as the Nazis convicted at the Nuremberg trials after World War II: To swing from a hangman’s noose.

Lauren Boebert Gets A Twitter Slap Down When She Calls Joe Biden ‘A Compromised Politician’

Much like her political hero, failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) clearly doesn’t bother to read her tweets before she hits the “send” button.

Evidence of that was on full display Thursday when Boebert decided she’d attack President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, even though the Justice Department just announced that Hunter paid his taxes and didn’t break any tax laws.

However, the Colorado Republican decided to focus on a laptop that the president’s son once owned, as reported by the New York Times:

“People familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between Mr. Biden, Mr. Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity. Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.”

That led Boebert to tweet out this:

Joe Biden is a compromised politician? Sure, Lauren, we can admit it right after you admit that Donald Trump, his family, and his company are all compromised by their connections to Russia.

Don’t bother holding your breath waiting for that admission from Ms. Boebert. After all, she thinks the ex-president is honest, trustworthy, and a great businessman.

Trump Spokesperson: There’s No Need For Biden To Give State Of The Union – Donald Did That At CPAC

Liz Harrington is failed, one-term former President Donald Trump’s chief spokesperson, mainly because she has a Twitter account (unlike him) and is willing to parrot whatever nonsense he gives her to repeat to the world.

Harrington’s latest head shaking assertion is that there’s no need for President Joe Biden to give tonight’s State of the Union Address because Trump already covered that ground with his rambling speech at the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) conference over the weekend.

Appearing on Real America’s Voice (a right-wing site that pushes all sorts of nonsense), Harrington commented:

“There’s really no need for him to give a State of the Union [from] the fraud that’s sitting in the White House right now because President Trump summed it all up on Saturday at CPAC.”

Of course, this is just the latest lie Harrington has told regarding the 2020 election, with CNN reporting:

On the day of the Capitol insurrection in January, Harrington falsely insisted that the election was being stolen by “communists.” And less than a week after the insurrection, she falsely claimed that “the real insurrection” occurred during “vote dumps” the morning after Election Day.

A day after Biden had been declared winner on Nov. 8, Harrington had this to say in an interview she gave to a California TV station:

Harrington baselessly insisted that Biden could not have earned 81 million “real votes” because he had small crowds at his campaign events. (A candidate’s crowd sizes do not necessarily predict their vote totals even when a pandemic is not occurring, and Biden’s campaign team shrunk his events for the purpose of social distancing.) And Harrington baselessly suggested it was suspicious that Biden won states in which Trump had early leads in the public vote totals, though Trump had those illusory leads only because many of the votes had not yet been counted.

When you can’t argue the facts, lie and deny. That’s the preferred strategy of Trump and his acolytes.
