Donald Trump History The Trump Adminstration

New Survey: Historians Rank Trump Among The 5 Worst Presidents In U.S. History

While he loves to claim that millions of Americans wanted him to win a second term in office, it appears that history will not be kind to failed, one-term former President Donald Trump, who has debuted on C-SPAN’s 2021 Survey of Presidential Leadership in 41st place, which places him among the five worst presidents in U.S. history.

Politico reports that the survey is conducted annually among a collection of historians, and those historians do not think much of Trump:

“This survey marks Trump’s first appearance on the list, on which the one-term president placed higher than only three other presidents: Franklin Pierce, Andrew Johnson and the perpetually last-ranked James Buchanan.”

The ratings are based on 10 qualities of presidential leadership;

  • Public Persuasion
  • Crisis Leadership
  • Economic Management
  • Moral Authority
  • International Relations
  • Administrative Skill
  • Relations with Congress
  • Vision/Setting an Agenda
  • Pursued Equal Justice for All
  • Performance Within the Context of the Times

When it comes to administrative skills, Trump ranked dead last among his predecessors in American history. He also ranks last when it comes to moral authority.

The reasons for Trump’s low rating are almost too numerous to mention, but presidential historian Douglas Brinkley suggested it had a lot to do with the 2021 impeachment, which made Trump the only president in history to be impeached twice:

“This year, people compared which is worse: Watergate or the Trump impeachment? The word ‘impeachment’ probably cost Nixon a few spots downward this year, and maybe Clinton too.”

In what will no doubt be especially galling to Trump, Barack Obama moved into the top 10.

The top 5 presidents, according to historians, are Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt, and Dwight D. Eisenhower. Lincoln has been ranked first since the survey began in 2000.

In time, as it becomes clearer just how incompetent and fundamentally evil Trump was during his term in office, it’s safe to predict he will be seen s the worst president in the long history of the United States. If he’s indicted, that spot is virtually guaranteed.

Jake Tapper Rips Trump A New One After The Donald Mocks CNN’s Ratings

Now that he no longer has a Twitter or Facebook account, failed, one-term former President Donald Trump has been relegated to issuing press releases that feel like something that belongs back in the Nixon administration.

The good news, however, is that even though Donnie has no social media accounts, he still manages to get his rants out for us to laugh at and for others to obliterate online, where the ex-president remains locked out.

One thing hasn’t changed when it comes to Trump’s public pronouncements: They’re half-baked and filled with lies, much like his four years in office were.

Such is the case with an attempted cheap shot at CNN and other media outlets who refuse to bow before the Donald:

Sorry, Don, but the news isn’t “boring” since you left D.C. Instead, it’s sane and doesn’t leave us all terrified of whether or not we’re going to wake up in an American version of Nazi Germany. Excuse the hell out of us for preferring competency and compassion to idiocy and hatred.

But the best part of Trump’s attempt at snark is the response he received from CNN’s Jake Tapper, who posted this:

And then Tapper used Trump’s least favorite thing in the world, facts, to completely humiliate Dotard Don:

#1 is something Trump will never be again. It is, however, one of two reasons he has to wear a diaper.

Trump Gets Brutally Mocked After His July 4th ‘Revenge Rally’ Is Canceled

In a desperate attempt to remain relevant and and savor the applause of his fanatical followers, failed, one-term former President Donald Trump was planning a July Fourth rally at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile Bay.

But that rally won’t be taking place, according to

“Plans for former President Donald Trump to return July 4th weekend to the city many credited with lending legitimacy to his 2016 campaign after USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park commissioners reportedly did not sign off on a plan for Trump to hold a rally at the Mobile site.”

NBC 15 News went into greater detail about what had led commissioners to tell Trump he wasn’t welcome:

“‘After the request was made, then there was contact with the Republican Party, they contacted us and then it became apparent that it was going to be a partisan political event, rather than just a patriotic event planned for that evening,’ commission chairman Bill Tunnell.

“Tunnell says commissioners sought an opinion from the attorney general’s office in late May. NBC 15 News obtained Attorney General Steve Marshall’s response which stated there was little time for a formal opinion to be rendered but did note the park may be used for political events provided access is ‘available for all political parties and candidates on an equal basis.'”

It goes without saying that Trump would never agree to allow others to have access to the park because he insists on being the center of attention and cannot stand the thought of someone speaking after he does and making fun of his remarks, which are all but guaranteed to be the same bullshit about how the 2020 election was stolen from him (it wasn’t) and vapid promises that he’ll be “reinstated” to the Oval Office as soon as August or whenever the MyPillow clown decides is the new date for that never-gonna-happen event.

Trump gave his grievance speech in Ohio last weekend:

As if the cancellation of Trump’s rally isn’t enough to make you smile, the mockery that followed on Twitter makes it even sweeter:

Maybe Donnie can get a speaking gig at Rikers Island after he’s indicted. He’d certainly have a captive audience.

Donald Trump Jr. WTF?!

Don Jr. Releases Batsh*t Crazy Video That Has People Urging His Family To Stage An Intervention

In the surest sign yet that something MONUMENTAL is about to break regarding the legal case against the Trump Organization, a video Donald Trump Jr. posted on Monday is drawing calls for him to be placed in rehab immediately.

In the video, Junior goes on an extended rant about Russian hackers, President Joe Biden, and Hunter Biden. In other words, it’s a replaying of the greatest hits from the Trump family: They project their own crimes and insecurities onto everyone else, which is so transparently confessional that it should be allowed into evidence.

Oh, there’s also the fact that Don Jr. sounds buzzed on something. He slurs his words at times, which suggests alcohol, but his glazed eyes and manic energy point to Bolivian marching powder.

See for yourself:

Even people who despise the Trump spawn and what they stand for began suggesting that Junior’s family stage an intervention, which of course they won’t do:

When the indictments are handed down, someone had better lock Junior in a room and make him detox cold turkey. Yes, for his health, but also because he deserves it.

Right Wing Morons Terrorism WTF?!

Right-Wing Kook Charlie Kirk Gets Swatted Down For Saying The Florida Condo Collapse Was ‘Terrorism’

Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, has decided to join the Bullshit Parade being conducted by right-wingers across the country and circulate an unsubstantiated claim that the collapse of a condominium in Surfside, Florida, was an act of “domestic terrorism.”

Kirk posted this on Twitter:

There’s not a shred of truth to that tweet, as Mediaite noted:

“Authorities have yet to give an update on the reason for the collapse, but during a Thursday news conference, the county’s mayor, Daniella Levine Cava (D), said it was a ‘structural engineering question.’

According to the New York Times, ‘The building had been about to undergo extensive repairs for rusted steel and damaged concrete, Kenneth S. Direktor, a lawyer involved in the project, said on Thursday. The repairs had been scheduled as part of a review and recertification process for 40-year-old buildings.'”

Be sure and note what Kirk did, because it’s the very same sort of thing failed, one-term former President Donald Trump has been known to do: Claim that “some people are saying…” Then you add whatever lie you want and pretend it’s true. Since people are saying it, you don’t have to own the lie because you can always claim you heard it from someone else.

Kirk got plenty of pushback on social media for his dose of fake news:

If we’re lucky, maybe Charlie will have his Twitter account suspended, just like his tangerine Lord and Savior. The world would be a better place without the two of them spreading lies.
