MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell Facing Financial Ruin For Lying About The 2020 Election Being Rigged

You’ve probably seen Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, in his commercials and also during his frequent photo-ops with President Donald Trump, whom he praises as if he were talking about God.

After the results of the 2020 presidential election became clear and Joe Biden was declared the winner, Lindell began showing up on right-wing new outlets, frantically declaring that Trump had been cheated, the election stolen, and claiming he had a patriotic duty to shout from the proverbial rooftops what he believed had taken place.

In one of those appearances, Lindell even tried to blame Fox News for helping to oust Trump:

Yep, there’s crazy, and then there’s Trump cult crazy, which is exactly what Lindell is a part of.

But Lindell’s conspiracy theories may be on the verge of costing him every dime he has, according to the New York Times:

“Officials with Dominion Voting Systems have sent Mike Lindell, the C.E.O. of MyPillow, a legal letter warning of pending litigation over his baseless claims of widespread fraud involving their machines.

“’You have positioned yourself as a prominent leader of the ongoing misinformation campaign,’ the letter said, referring to his continued false claims that their systems were rigged by someone to effect the outcome.

“’Litigation regarding these issues is imminent,’ the letter said. Mr. Lindell is only the latest to get a warning letter from Dominion officials about potential litigation, after he and Sidney Powell, the right-wing lawyer, Rudolph W. Giuliani and others have continued to spread false claims about the integrity of the results the machines showed.”

Sounds like Dominion is ready to file suit and take everything Lindell has. And they’d have a good case if they decide to. All they’d need to do is play Lindell’s words to a jury and ask for a large settlement. That alone could leave MyPillow and its founder flat busted. All because Lindell didn’t have enough brains to realize he’s in a cult and walk away when he had a chance.

Imagine a year from now: Trump is under multiple indictments and the Trump Organization is on the verge of collapse. And, if we’re lucky, maybe Mike Lindell will also be on his way to the poorhouse.
