Democrat Who Sat Next To MT Greene At SOTU Exposes Her For Unhinged ‘Muttering’ During Speech

Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI) arrived at Thursday’s State of the Union address later than she expected, and about the only place left to sit was right next to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who she says muttered and complained during the entire speech.

Moore revealed the bizarre things Greene said as President Joe Biden was speaking during an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Weekend,” noting that no one else was willing to sit next to the Georgia Republican, and she soon found out why.

“I was trying to draw — bring out some empathy and to see if she had any, you know, and to recognize that, you know, instead of spending all of our time, you know, being surprised and shocked at Donald Trump having these supporters to try to listen to them.”

“For example, this is a really good example,” she explained. “When he [Biden] talked about Bettie May Fikes, who I have met on the march to Selma to the Edmund Pettus Bridge, when he talked about her being there and voting rights and John Lewis. She said, ‘1965?’ She was really truly surprised, I think. ‘Nobody is having their —being prevented from voting.’ Now, that was 1965. ‘I said ‘no girl, they tried to take my vote from me,’ because I voted and used a drop box in the last election.”

Greene got even more agitated, Moore said, when the president mentioned Covid.

“She was muttering about how we shuttered businesses and so forth during Covid. I said, ‘Girl, well, Covid was a real thing. My eldest son almost died from Covid and was in the hospital on a ventilator for a week.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a blight on the U.S. Congress and this country. She needs to be expelled from the House for her outrageous actions and utterances. And she also needs to explain to the American people why she reportedly begged failed former president Donald Trump for a pardon shortly before he left office.

Mike Johnson’s SOTU Facial Expressions Lead To Hilarious Memes On Social Media

If you watched the State of the Union address Thursday evening, you may have had some trouble concentrating on what President Joe Biden said to the nation as a result of the odd facial expressions Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) made as he listened.

Apparently forgetting that his face would also be on the screen as Biden spoke, Johnson shook his head, grimaced, and at times looked like a child who was silently praying he could run home and go to sleep.

Johnson’s facial expressions became a running joke on social media, where commentary began describing what he was thinking at various points in the speech.

Biden Campaign Sets Fundraising Record After Triumphant State Of The Union Address

The Biden-Harris 2024 campaign set a fundraising record during and after President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on Thursday evening.

MSNBC’s Jonathan Lemire noted Friday morning that the Biden camp had just released the dollar figures surrounding the speech.

“The Biden campaign let us let us know the 9:00 hour was the biggest fundraising hour of the campaign. Amending it later saying, actually, the 10:00 p.m. [hour] was more, the best two hours of the entire campaign last night.”

That news comes on top of fundraising numbers last month showing that the Biden-Harris team had raised $42 million for the reelection campaign and to benefit other Democrats on the 2024 ticket.

Lemire added, “They already walked into [Thursday] with a massive fundraising advantage over Donald Trump, who struggled to raise money. Also, because he had to devote so much of the money he’s raised to his legal bills. Even prior to last night, Democrats feel great about the speech, they felt like they had a significant financial advantage. They’re going to be able to bury Trump in ads.”

Meanwhile, the GOP is planning to use valuable campaign dollars to help pay former president Donald Trump’s massive legal bills, which led “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough to predict how Biden and the Democrats will use their fundraising advantage.

“It ain’t nothing that, last night, the 9:00 hour and then the 10:00 hour set fundraising records for a campaign that’s already set fundraising records for the most money ever raised. I think people at home, not just Democrats, but I’m sure Republicans, moderate Republicans, swing voters, independents, had to really, really like what they heard when Donald Trump once again had the contrast, time and again – somebody against freedom abroad, somebody that was against freedom at home. That’s when Joe Biden really brought it home. He talked about freedom abroad, but then he talked about freedom at home, and women’s freedom. Said back to the Supreme Court, ‘Oh, yeah, you say women? They have the right to express themselves politically? Stand back, because they’re just about to do that.'”

Money, the old expression goes, is the mother’s milk of any political campaign, and the massive advantage Biden has over Trump doesn’t bode well for what will happen to Republicans when voters go to the polls eight months from now.

Trump Offers A Petulant Response To Biden’s State Of The Union Address: ‘I’m A Victim!’

Instead of disagreeing with the policies and vision laid out by President Joe Biden in his State of the Union Address, failed former president Donald Trump decided he’d go on social media and insist that he’s a victim.

Calling his remarks “the real State of the Union,” Trump raged on his failing Truth Social site:

“Here’s the real State of the Union. Over the past two years under Biden, millions and millions of illegal aliens from 160 different countries have stormed across our Southern border. Drug cartels are now raking in billions of dollars from smuggling poison to kill our people and to kill our children. Savage killers, rapists and violent criminals are being released from jail to continue their crime wave and under Biden the murder rate has reached the highest in the history of our country.”

And then Donnie declared himself to be a victim:

“Joe Biden’s weaponized Justice Department, and I’m a victim of it, is persecuting his political opponents. His administration is waging war on free speech. They’re trying to indoctrinate and mutilate our children. He’s leading us to the brink of World War III. And on top of all of that, he’s the most corrupt president in American history, and it’s not even close.”

There was also the obligatory reminder from Trump that he’s running again in 2024 and will make everything sweetness and light if he wins:

“I am running for President to end the destruction of our country and to complete the unfinished business of Making America Great Again.”

If he really wants to make America great, he should move to Russia and stay off all social media platforms. Maybe his BFF Putin could even give him a job.

‘Angry’ US Army Vet Shreds Lauren Boebert For Her Childish Antics At SOTU Address

During Tuesday evening’s State of the Union Address, President Joe Biden brought up the issue of U.S. military veterans who have been exposed to toxic materials that are destroyed in what are known as “burn pits” on forward bases in places such as Iraq and may be responsible for the brain cancer which killed his son, Beau:

“One of those soldiers was my son, Major Beau Biden. I don’t know for sure if the burn pit that he lived near was the cause of his brain cancer, and disease of so many other troops. But I am committed to find out everything we can.”

As the president was speaking, Colorado GOP Congresswoman Lauren Boebert stood and shouted, “13 of them!” Boebert was apparently making reference to the 13 service members who were killed in a bombing during the U.S. evacuation from Afghanistan last year.

That heckling enraged many people, including U.S. Army veteran Eileen Rivers, who excoriated Boebert in an op-ed she wrote for USA Today, noting that while we should welcome political disagreement, “there is also something wrong with reducing what should be thoughtful political discourse – done at the right time with real information – to a shameful and antagonizing heckle.”

Rivers went on to add:

“The congresswoman’s comments about a 20-year war perpetuated by leaders in both parties were misleading and lacked context. She not only lowered discourse, she disrespected the office of the presidency. I am a veteran. I spent four years of my life in the Army as an Arabic linguist. I come from a family of veterans. And I am angry.”

Most importantly, Rivers says she wants to make it clear that Lauren Boebert — who has never served a day in any branch of the military — is not the right messenger for such a message:

“When she stifled the president, she was also stifling me. Surely others who have lost loved ones felt that, too.

“Boebert does not speak for me. And neither do other members of the GOP who reinforced her sentiments on social media.”

Lauren Boebert is a pustule on the U.S. Congress. She needs to be excised by the voters in November.
