Sworn Deposition Shows Ivanka Lied Under Oath

When she was asked under oath in a sworn deposition she gave regarding possibly illegal fundraising and spending by the 2017 Trump inaugural, Ivanka Trump appears to have lied about her knowledge of how her father’s company, the Trump Organization, was run, and who was in charge of the day-to-day operations of the corporation.

Lying during a deposition is a crime. Just the same as testimony in court while under oath, lying as part of a deposition is also considered perjury.

The possible lies told by Ivanka were revealed by Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a former close friend of Melania Trump who has soured on the Trumps since they attempted to blame her for the questionable finances of the Trump inaugural committee. Wolkoff posted this excerpt from Ivanka’s deposition on Twitter:

Allen Weisselberg has been the chief financial officer of the Trump Organization since the early 1970s and is considered to be the person who knows where every dollar of the company’s money is raised and spent.

Shortly after Wolkoff made her posting, Trump’s former personal attorney and fixer, Michael Cohen, responded with this:

Ivanka isn’t he first of the Trump children to get caught lying under oath. Her brother, Donald Trump Jr., also appears to have perjured himself, as Mother Jones first reported in April:

“During his deposition, Trump Jr. frequently replied, ‘I don’t recall,’ and he downplayed his involvement in preparation for his father’s inauguration in January 2017. In several exchanges, he made statements that are contradicted by documents or the recollections of others and that appear to be false.”

Don Jr’s. apparent lying was also regarding the 2017 Trump inaugural committee, which is believed to have personally enriched the Trump Organization by tens of millions of dollars, money that was diverted illegally to the Trump family in violation of federal and state law.

Perhaps the truest words ever said by a member of the Trump family were reportedly uttered by the failed, one-term former president, who raged that he wasn’t getting any of the money for the presidential transition:

“Fuck the law. I don’t give a fuck about the law. I want my fucking money.”

For a con man and grifter, it’s always about the fucking money. And it’s clear the Trump children inherited that grifting gene from their old man.

The Trump ‘Inner Circle’ Fears Ivanka’s Connections To Giuliani Mean She’s Next

Those close to the Trump family are nervous, and the move by the Justice Department last week when search warrants were served on former President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, reportedly have the Trump “inner circle” terrified that Ivanka, Don Jr., and even the former president are next to get a visit from the FBI.

News.com.au reports that there’s grave concern the DOJ is preparing to make more moves that could have serious repercussions for the Trump family:

“Trump insiders told CNN the raid was orchestrated to send a message to his inner circle, and it had worked, with a sense of fear ignited in those who believed they weren’t in the firing line.

“’This was a show of force that sent a strong message to a lot of people in Trump’s world that other things may be coming down the pipeline,’ one Trump adviser said.

“’I can’t for the life of me think why you would need to send seven FBI agents to go and collect a cellphone and laptop.'”

Also a source of worry is that if Guiliani is facing serious prison time, as former US attorney Preet Bharara has predicted, he will cooperate with federal investigators and tell what he knows about the former president and members of his family, all of whom are part of running the Trump Organization, which is suspected of having committed crimes such as insurance and tax fraud and is under investigation by multiple agencies in the state of New York, where the company is headquartered.

Another former Trump attorney, Michael Cohen, says it’s ironic that the tactics being used against the former New York City mayor (who was also U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York) are the very same ones Rudy used to go after the mafia:

“And it’s just ironic that the tactics that he created for that office are now going to be employed against him, in terms of making him plead guilty and, certainly, at the least, turning over information about Jared, Ivanka, about Don Jr., about Donald himself, about all of these individuals in that garbage can orbit of Donald Trump.”

Cohen added there’s probably much more evidence that has not yet been revealed by prosecutors but will come to light in due time:

“Who knows what Rudy was involved with. What we’re going to find out is, there are text messages, there are emails, there are different types of communication apps that the FBI knows how to re-establish, even if Rudy, who I don’t think is technological, tried to delete or what have you.”

The raid on Giuliani’s home and office is certain to have Donald Trump worried, according to Cohen:

“He cares about only himself. So, he doesn’t care that they raided Rudy’s home. He doesn’t care that they raided Rudy’s law office. What is it going to do to affect me, is all that he’s thinking right now. What did stupid Rudy do? What did stupid Rudy write? What sort of text messages or emails?

“What sort of stupid things was Rudy up to that’s now going to implicate me?”

The DOJ has indeed rattled the Trumps. And it’s safe to assume they have other moves they haven’t yet made that could be even more terrifying for the former president and his family.

Cindy McCain Reveals Secrets About Ivanka Trump In Her Startling New Book

Cindy McCain was married to the late Arizona Sen. John McCain for 38 years, and she’s written a memoir that focuses in part on the last few months of her husband’s life entitled Stronger, in which she reveals that in the final days of the senator’s life, only a few “trusted” people were allowed to visit: Joe Biden, Lindsey Graham, and Mitt Romney.

Interestingly, Mrs. McCain notes, her husband’s running mate, Sarah Palin, never reached out when the senator was diagnosed with brain cancer:

“In the fourteen months that John had been sick, she never once spoke to him. He had put her on the political map, and she didn’t even send him a note of good wishes when he was down. That is not someone you invite to a final farewell.

“I was just very disappointed in what Mrs. Palin did, because I just felt that… I had hoped that she had felt my husband was as loved as I did. And I was just very disappointed. I think I was more disappointed than John.”

Another person who wasn’t invited: Then-President Donald Trump. However, his daughter, Ivanka, along with her husband, Jared Kushner, did make an appearance, and McCain took it all in stride, refusing to hold a grudge against Ivanka even though her father had gone out of the way to say horrible things about the late senator:

“John always taught me that it takes more energy to be mad than to simply move on,” she writes in her memoir. “I don’t know exactly why Ivanka and Jared wanted to be there. But I am hoping they came for the reason I would think — that they mourned the loss of my husband.”

There was no reason for Ivanka to attend the McCain funeral, and it’s incredibly generous of Mrs. McCain to suggest that Ivanka was mourning the senator’s death. It’s a lot more likely she did it because she has political ambitions and didn’t want to diss a war hero.

Ivanka Trump may appear to be classier than her lowlife father, but she’s a bottom feeder, too. As for politics, here’s a bold prediction: No Trump will ever hold any office again in this country. They’re political poison and the American people have rejected them.
