Fox News Lies Joe Biden Russia WTF?!

Fox Host Jesse Watters: The Russian Invasion Of Ukraine Was ‘Engineered’ By Biden As ‘A Distraction’

Proving yet again that there is absolutely no depth to which Fox News will stoop in an effort to undermine President Joe Biden and the NATO alliance, Fox host Jesse Watters speculated Tuesday evening that the invasion of Ukraine might have been “engineered” by the president as a “distraction.”

Speaking with  John Paul Mac Isaac, the Delaware computer shop owner who handed Hunter Biden’s laptop to the FBI in an effort to gain a few minutes of fame for himself, Watters asked:

“Seeing all the news about Ukraine and knowing the laptop and all the things you’ve seen and heard over the last couple years, what are your thoughts on the current situation?”

Isaac replied:

“It’s hard to tell. I mean, last time Ukraine was in this, or close to this situation, Joe Biden was in charge. And last time, Hunter Biden profited greatly off of his dad’s involvement in Ukraine. I think this time Joe needs a distraction more than he needs money.”

Watters:

“Do you think this was engineered as a distraction, or do you think this just kind of happened because of Vlad and this rush to war?”

To that, Isaac responded:

“Well, I would hate to think that the Ukrainian people would have to suffer the way they’re suffering now because Joe needed a distraction.”

Yeah, you’d hate to think it, but you said it anyhow because you want to make certain you’re invited back on Fox News again, right, Mr. Isaac.

On a side note, what in the hell is up with the hat Isaac is wearing? Is that thing supposed to give him credibility? If so, it does exactly the opposite.

No matter the issue — even when it’s a matter of national security — you can always count on Fox to choose politics over what’s in the best interest of the United States.

Hillary Clinton Claps Back At Putin After Russia Sanctions Her And Other Prominent Americans

Earlier today, Russia retaliated against the United States for its imposition of sanctions for their invasion of Ukraine three weeks ago.

Mediaite notes that there were some familiar names on the list of Americans the Kremlin decided to ban from Russia:

“In response to a series of unprecedented sanctions prohibiting, among other things, entry into the United States for top officials of the Russian Federation, from March 15 of this year, the Russian ‘stop list’ includes on the basis of reciprocity President J. Biden, Secretary of State A. Blinken, Secretary of Defense L. Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff M. Milley, as well as a number of department heads and prominent US figures,” the statement said.

Also on the list is former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton, who took the announcement in good humor with this Twitter posting:

Be sure and note there are no Republicans on the sanctioned list from Russia. Twitter users certainly did.

Evangelicals Hoping Russia’s Invasion Of Ukraine Will Put ‘The Rapture’ Closer To Reality

As the majority of us sit and watch in horror as the Russian military inflicts damage on the nation of Ukraine to satisfy the deluded fantasy of Vladimir Putin that he can rebuild the Russian empire and once again be a world power, some evangelical Christians are actually hoping that the war in Ukraine might help speed up the end of the world and the Rapture.

In case you’re not familiar with the concept of the Rapture, here’s what it involves, according to Britannica:

In Christianity, the eschatological (concerned with the last things and Endtime) belief that both living and dead believers will ascend into heaven to meet Jesus Christ at the Second Coming (Parousia).

Is the Rapture found anywhere in the Bible? No. Not even once is the word used. Jesus himself never uttered the word, either.

Yet despite that, many Christian ministers are preaching that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine may be the beginning of the end. Of course, they said that same thing during both Gulf Wars and after the attacks on 9/11.

The Associated Press notes that Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Dallas (a megachurch with over 13,000 members) is one of those who believes we could be living in the last days:

“Why does God permit evil like this to continue? …. Are we near Armageddon and the end of the world?”

“We are living in the last days. We’ve been living in the last days for the last 2000 years. We don’t know, is this the end? Is this the beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning?”

Wow! Nice gobbledygook, Pastor Jeffress. You managed to say so much while actually saying nothing at all other than, Hell if I know.

There’s also the website raptureready.com, which rates the chances that the Rapture is near:

Their “Rapture Index,” — on which any reading above 160 means “Fasten your seatbelts” — was raised this week to 187, close to its record high of 189 in 2016.

Or perhaps you prefer the opinion of Pat Robertson, who came out of retirement just so he could take advantage of the Russian move on Ukraine and proclaim:

“You can say, well, Putin’s out of his mind. Yes, maybe so. But at the same time, he’s being compelled by God. He went into the Ukraine, but that wasn’t his goal. His goal was to move against Israel, ultimately.

“It’s all there. And God is getting ready to do something amazing and that will be fulfilled.”

Hogwash, according to Rev. Rodney Kennedy, a Baptist pastor, who chides evangelical leaders that insist on trying to use world events for their own purposes:

“This evangelical insistence of involving the sovereignty of God in the evil of Putin borders on the absurd.

“Rapture believers fail to understand that if they assist in bringing about world war, there will be no Superman Jesus appearing to ‘snatch’ all true believers into the safety of the clouds

“The rapture is an illusion; the rupture caused by Putin is a deadly reality.”

As is so often the case, the real reason for sermons about how Russia is supposedly fulfilling prophecy is to get people in church and opening their wallets. It’s fear and grifting. Worst of all, it’s done in the name of God.

Leaked Kremlin Memo Says Tucker Carlson Is ‘Essential’ To Russia’s Disinformation War In The US

A leaked memo from the Russian Department of Information and Telecommunications Support seems to confirm what we’ve long suspected: Fox News host Tucker Carlson is being used to spread Kremlin propaganda and disinformation.

David Corn of Mother Jones reports:

On March 3, as Russian military forces bombed Ukrainian cities as part of Vladimir Putin’s illegal invasion of his neighbor, the Kremlin sent out talking points to state-friendly media outlets with a request: Use more Tucker Carlson.

“It is essential to use as much as possible fragments of broadcasts of the popular Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who sharply criticizes the actions of the United States [and] NATO, their negative role in unleashing the conflict in Ukraine, [and] the defiantly provocative behavior from the leadership of the Western countries and NATO towards the Russian Federation and towards President Putin, personally,” advises the 12-page document written in Russian. It sums up Carlson’s position: “Russia is only protecting its interests and security.” The memo includes a quote from Carlson: “And how would the US behave if such a situation developed in neighboring Mexico or Canada?”

The mention of Carlson appears in the memo shortly after this section, which specifically addresses issues Russia wants repeated frequently so it can frame the debate over anything that might be anti-Kremlin and anti-Putin:

“The Russian invasion is ‘preventing the possibility of nuclear strikes on its territory’; Ukraine has a history of nationalism (that presumably threatens Russia); the Russian military operation is proceeding as planned; Putin is protecting all Russians; the ‘losing’ Ukrainian army is shelling residential areas of eastern Ukraine controlled by Russia; foreign mercenaries are arriving in Ukraine; Europe ‘is facing more and more problems’ because of its own sanctions; and there will be ‘danger and possible legal consequences’ for those in Russia who protest the war.”

Carlson has been a frequent and vocal critic of the U.S. getting involved in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, telling his viewers that Ukraine’s desire to join NATO was the root cause of Russia’s attack on its neighbor:

After Putin attacked Ukraine, Carlson ceased his anti-anti-Putin rhetoric and shifted to a new line: that the United States and the West purposefully goaded Putin into launching the war. Carlson said it was “obvious” that “getting Ukraine to join NATO was the key to inciting war with Russia.” He asked, “Why in the world would the United States intentionally seek war with Russia? How could we possibly benefit from that war?” He said he did not know.

The Russian memo, along with Carlson’s continued criticism of the U.S. imposing economic sanctions raises a much larger and more disturbing question: Has Fox become a Kremlin mouthpiece, and why are they so willing to side with a country and its ruler when Putin has made it clear his fondest desire is to destroy the United States by whatever means possible?

Lindsey Graham Says Biden Doesn’t Want Putin To Lose The Ukraine War Because ‘He’s A Climate Change Partner’

According to Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), President Joe Biden is hoping Russian tyrant Vladimir Putin will be victorious with his war in Ukraine because Putin is “a climate partner.”

Graham made his absurd comments during an appearance on Fox News.

The South Carolina Republican repeated his call for someone to kill Putin, telling host Maria Bartiromo that NATO could institute a no-fly zone in Ukraine:

“It will not be World War III. This is all a bluff. Putin knows it. If he ordered a pre-emptive strike on the U.S., some general would shoot him in the head.

“The only way this war ends is with Putin going to jail or being taken out by his own people. How do you make that happen? You help the Ukrainians.”

And then Graham made his disgusting comment about Biden secretly wanting to see Putin to be victorious in Ukraine:

“He’s a climate change partner. He’s an Iran deal maker. In my eyes, he’s a menace to mankind, he’s a war criminal and he needs to be taken out by his own people.”

Graham ended the interview with another call for Putin to be killed:

“Putin is a war criminal, he is no longer a legitimate leader and it is time for us to get him gone! It would be better to have a Russian leader that wouldn’t marry up with Iran and Syria to begin with. This is the best chance in 20 years to take this guy out and the Russian people are the vehicle to do it.”

Here’s a thought: Since Lindsey is so eager to see Putin kick the bucket, how about we let him go meet with the Russian mass murderer and do the deed himself when he gets there? What say you, Sen. Graham? Do you have the balls to back up your tough talk, or are you just trying to look macho for your redneck constituents?
