Dark Brandon Swats Down Fox’s Peter Doocy And Twitter Applauds With Delight

Thinking he could trip up President Joe Biden with a loaded question, Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy tried on Wednesday to make Biden choose which item he felt was the “top domestic issue” as the midterm elections approach: Abortion or inflation.

But Biden, in full Dark Brandon mode, swatted down Doocy and gave him a lesson in governing, telling him:

“They’re all important. Unlike you, there’s no one thing. It crosses the board. They’re all important. And we oughta be able to walk and chew gum at the same time.”

For those who aren’t familiar with the “Dark Brandon” phenomenon, HuffPost explains:

“Dark Brandon” is the meme-worthy nickname that’s turned what was once an insult into shorthand for a feisty president willing to fight back.

This isn’t the first time Biden has put Doocy in his place. The two have sparred before, CNBC notes:

President Joe Biden called Fox News White House reporter Peter Doocy “a stupid son of a bitch” Monday on a live microphone, after Doocy asked Biden whether inflation was a political liability for him.

The verbal slip took place during a White House event on Biden administration efforts to combat inflation. After the president complained that all the press questions were about the military buildup around Ukraine, Doocy shouted: “Will you take questions about inflation? Do you think inflation is a political liability ahead of the midterms?”

Thinking his microphone was turned off, Biden responded sarcastically: “No, that’s a great asset. More inflation.”

He added, “What a stupid son of a bitch.”

It should be noted that the president later apologized for what he called Doocy.

Twitter users were delighted to see Dark Brandon make a comeback and remind Fox and its viewers that Democrats can indeed do two things at the same time, which is what governing is all about.

This Devastating Attack Ad Has Donald Trump Threatening To Sue Fox News

Donald Trump is absolutely furious!

Why? Because the Lincoln Project is running an ad in regular rotation on Fox News that calls the disgraced, failed, one-term, twice-impeached former president an “impotent and flabby” loser and con man who is grifting off his supporters because it’s the only way he can make a dime now that his name is as worthless as pyrite.

The ad, which carries the title “Sucker” is clearly aimed both at the ex-president, but also at the MAGA faithful who continue to willfully hand their money over to the Donald by attending his rallies, buying his merchandise, and contributing money to his “Save America” political action committee.

The narration alone is enough to condemn Trump, but with the accompanying images, it lays bare the notion that Donald gives a damn about anyone but himself, with the narrator intoning:

Dear MAGA, we have some bad news. No, not that he lost. Not that your little coup attempt failed and its planners and the attackers are going to jail. No. The really bad news is why Trump told you he lost. Why he set it up way before the 2020 election. It wasn’t voter fraud but it was fraud.

Trump told you the election was stolen ripped you off, to sucker you, to take your hard-earned money and shovel it into his pockets. He spent it on himself not to take back the White House.

It was the biggest scam in political history. Every dollar you sent him paid to keep his shady business empire and lavish lifestyle going. It was a sucker game all along. And you know who the sucker is? You.

Trump was enraged by the ad and its message, going on his failing Truth Social site and posting this hateful missive:

“The Perverts and Lowlifes of the Lincoln Project are back on, where else, Fox News. I thought they ran away to the asylum after their last catastrophic campaign, with charges made against them that were big time sleaze, and me getting many millions more votes in 2020 than I got in 2016.

The Paul Ryun run Fox only has high standards for ‘Trump’ ads, but not for anyone else. The Perverts should not be allowed to ‘false advertise,’ and Fox News should not allow it to happen.

“See you all in Court!!!”

That’s just bluster and smoke. He’s not suing anyone. And even if he did, he’d lose on free speech grounds.

But perhaps best of all was what Lincoln Project founder Rick Wilson had to say in response to Donald’s little threat:

“In 2020, The Lincoln Project took up a long-term free lease in Trump’s brain. His threat to sue the Lincoln Project today is like Trump himself; impotent, flabby, and pathetic.”

Damn! That burn is going to leave one hell of a mark.

Hannity Accidentally Condemns Trump By Listing The 30+ Crimes That Could Send Him To Prison

In a desperate attempt to defend failed, one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump on his show Monday evening, Fox News host Sean Hannity only succeeded in humiliating himself and the Donald as he ran through the 30+ investigations and crimes of the ex-president that could result in serious prison time if he’s convicted.

Mediaite notes that Hannity kicked off his show by suggesting that Democrats were obsessed with investigating Trump:

“Instead of trying to fix the economy or dare talk about it, or the border, or the fentanyl or opioid crisis, or the crime crisis, Democrats have been wasting all of their time and billion dollars of your taxes with one investigation after investigation into all things Donald Trump,” Hannity said. “This has been going on now for years.”

But the graphic Hannity ran as he railed against Trump being under the microscope for his alleged wrongdoings severely undercut the message he was attempting to convey.

The list, as you’ll see in the video, was voluminous, and yet the Fox host added this kicker:

“After all of this, Trump hasn’t been charged with any crime whatsoever, and they are trying hard, but there has been nothing. That’s because the partisan Democrats in charge of all of these witch hunts, they’re not investigating crimes. They’re investigating a person in a blatant attempt to smear, slander, destroy him and destroy his supporters. It’s the old Soviet Union saying: ‘show me the man, I’ll find you the crime.’ Except, they haven’t actually found a crime yet, so I guess they’ll make that up too.”

It didn’t take long before Twitter users mocked Hannity for doing more harm than good in his efforts to rescue his political savior.

Trump Slams Fox For ‘Pushing The Democrat Agenda’ – Offers to Help CNN Go ‘Conservative’

After attacking CNN for years as purveyors of “fake news,” disgraced former president Donald Trump is now offering to help the network shift to being “conservative.”

At the same time, Trump is slamming Fox News for “pushing the Democrat agenda” and suggesting they are on the way out as a force in right-wing media.

Trump made those statements on his Truth Social (a.k.a. Twitter for losers) platform Sunday, with Newsweek reporting:

Trump hit out at Fox News in a Truth Social post on Sunday in the latest sign the former president’s opinion of the news channel—which he frequently watched and praised during his time in the White House—has soured slightly.

In the same social media post, Trump also suggested it would be an “absolute gold mine” if CNN became conservative amid reports the channel is aiming to become more politically neutral and less critical of the former president under new leader Chris Licht.

Here’s what the twice-impeached ex-president had to say about the two networks:

“Wow! Fox News is really pushing the Democrats and the Democrat agenda. Gets worse every single day. So many Dems interviewed with only softball questions, then Republican counterparts get creamed.”

“If ‘low ratings’ CNN ever went Conservative, they would be an absolute gold mine, and I would help them to do so.”

It has indeed appeared that CNN is taking a sudden turn to the right, with Sara Fischer of Axios reporting

In a memo to staff in May, Licht said he wants CNN to help regain the trust that many people have lost in media, by “fearlessly speaking truth to power, challenging the status quo, questioning ‘group-think,’ and educating viewers and readers with straightforward facts and insightful commentary, while always being respectful of differing viewpoints.

“People are freaked out,” said one CNN journalist. “It almost feels like there’s a pattern. Is there a purge going on? They seem to be sending a message: ‘Watch what you say. Watch what you do.’

However, before CNN decides to ink a pact with the devil (Trump), they’d be wise to consider that if Donald is now turning on his longtime ally Fox, he wouldn’t think twice about tossing CNN under the bus, too.

WATCH Steve Doocy School Rand Paul On The Dangers Of Saying The FBI Unfairly Targeted Trump

“Fox & Friends” co-host called Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and others in the GOP out for their incendiary rhetoric aimed at the FBI for doing their jobs and executing a search warrant former president Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Largo golf resort.

Paul was a guest on the show Thursday morning, and he immediately began attacking the FBI:

“This is part of the same people who are still running the FBI. They have a different understanding, maybe, of what they think the FBI can and cannot do and how it should be used on Americans, but I’m going to require proof that there was actually some sort of probable cause of a crime, and I’m suspicious that there was not.”

Doocy schooled the senator on the dangers of saying such things:

“The problem is, over the last week or so there has been so much violent rhetoric directed at the FBI, and I heard somebody printed that it stands for ‘Fascist Bureau of Investigation; or something like that. Unfortunately now the people who work at the FBI headquarters, there are death threats and all sorts of stuff. I heard from a staff member there who was talking to a colleague at the FBI, a colleague realized, ‘Oh, look, I’m wearing the wrong shoes today to work,’ because if somebody attacks the building and they’ve got to run, can’t run in those heels, so they’re caught in the crosshairs.”

While Paul said he agreed there was no need to call for violence against federal agents, he quickly tried to minimize the threat by claiming he faces even greater attacks for his stance on controversial issues:

“I think the death threats are inappropriate and not the way to go about it. There’s the political process. The problem is that the people in charge of Congress, the Democrats, have not been interested in or curious in investigating anything. We have a million people who died from Covid, and I haven’t had one hearing on the origin. We finally did a couple weeks ago. I insisted on hearing, and the Democrats didn’t come to my hearing. The thing is there’s been a lack of curiosity on the part of investigation, but there’s no excuse for threats to the FBI, and the thing is, look, and they’re not the only one getting threats. I’ve had probably over 50 threats this year. Sometimes i can have a dozen in a week. We have my address posted online, we have people who are wishing me ill will, injury, all the time.”

At times like this, it’s easy to understand exactly why one of Rand Paul’s neighbors beat the snot out of him.
