Lauren Boebert Tweets Out The Ultimate Self-Own Of Herself And The Republican Party

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is absolutely furious that the Biden administration is launching a program to fight bias, hate, and violence against Jewish people in an effort to combat a rise in antisemitism across the country.

President Joe Biden announced the new plan on Thursday, the Associated Press reports, and it includes over 100 steps the administration will take to confront antisemitism.

Speaking during a videotaped address at the White House, Biden said the first U.S. National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism sends a “clear and forceful message” that “in America, evil will not win, hate will not prevail” and “the venom and violence of antisemitism will not be the story of our time.”

Months in the making, the strategy has four basic goals: increasing awareness and understanding of antisemitism, including its threat to America, and broadening appreciation of Jewish American heritage; improving safety and security for Jewish communities; reversing the normalization of antisemitism and countering antisemitic discrimination; and building “cross-community” solidarity and collective action to counter hate.

Even in a deeply divided country like the United States, you’d think just about everyone except the most hardcore bigots would support such an initiative, but Boebert suggested the plan was actually an attempt to target conservatives.

“When they say stuff like this, they mean they want to go after conservatives,” she tweeted. ”Their tactics are straight out of the USSR’s playbook.”

As we often say in the South, A hit dog always hollers.

Or, as one person noted in their response to Boebert, “Every radical MAGA GOP extremist’s accusation is a Confession!!!”

Others also joined the debate, reminding Boebert that she must have one hell of a guilty conscience.

Lauren Boebert’s Son Called 911 To Report His Father Was Abusing Him: Report

If you were wondering why exactly Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) filed for divorce from her husband several days ago, a report from Business Insider may shed some light on the matter.

Rep. Lauren Boebert’s son called 911 in December to report that his father, Jayson Boebert, had gotten physical with him and was “throwing” him around the house and that he didn’t know why.

Minutes after the call ended — while Garfield County Sheriff’s Office deputies were on their way to their home — the teen called again to take the accusations back, with Lauren Boebert jumping on the phone to say her son “doesn’t need help.”

Jayson Boebert denied to the deputies — and to Insider — that he had gotten physical with the teen.

Asked for comment on the report, Boebert remarked:

“The safety and well-being of my family are the most important things in the world to me. We’ve had some tough times and heartache. I’ve taken action to ensure there are better days ahead for all of us.”

Interestingly, the congresswoman is suing her estranged husband for parental decision making and child support for all four of their children.

The report from Insider also includes the following: “Boebert’s son told the dispatcher his mother had been living in a farmhouse at an attached property because the family was having ‘problems.'”

Here’s a partial transcript of the December 911 phone call:

The Boebert teen reports his father is “throwing him around.”

The teen also says, “Yes, he was throwing me around. He called me a psycho, when he’s the — “

The dispatcher asks if there were any weapons in the house, to which the teen replies, “I mean, there are weapons in the house, yeah, but I don’t think he’d use them on me. He just does this to me so much.”

For his part, Jayson Boebert had this to say:

“He overreacted. We’re back to being a family. All I do is work and come home and try to raise everyone.”

Is this what Republicans mean when they talk about “family values”? If so, it certainly sounds a hell of a lot more like child abuse.

Gavin Newsom Hilariously Mocks Marjorie Taylor Greene By Using Her Bulls**t Against Her

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) got the better of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) during an online debate on the issue of LGBT rights and shut down the congresswoman by using one of her most absurd conspiracy theories against her.

Newsom criticized Target for removing some of its Pride Month merchandise due to a backlash from right-wingers like Greene, expressing his disappointment on Twitter.

“CEO of Target Brian Cornell selling out the LGBTQ+ community to extremists is a real profile in courage. This isn’t just a couple stores in the South. There is a systematic attack on the gay community happening across the country.

“Wake up America. This doesn’t stop here. You’re black? You’re Asian? You’re Jewish? You’re a woman? You’re next.”

Greene countered Newsom’s posting by claiming the “gay community” isn’t under attack and tried to blame Target for displaying “tuck-friendly” clothing aimed at children. That claim has since been debunked by The Associated Press, which noted, “The ‘tuck-friendly’ swimsuits are only offered in adult sizes, according to a spokesperson for the company and Target’s website. Kids’ swimsuits in the collection do not feature this label.”

That’s when Newsom used a verbal nuclear weapon to completely vaporize the Georgia Republican.

The space laser line is a reference to comments Greene made on Facebook in which she suggested the Rothschild family had financed lasers that caused the California wildfires.

Game, set, and match Gavin Newsom.

Newt Gingrich’s Attempt To Praise Donald Trump Winds Up Humiliating Him And The Former Guy

Former Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich tried on Wednesday to praise failed ex-president Donald Trump as being a better communicator than Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), but his attempt only succeeded in making both him and Trump look like complete fools.

During an appearance on Laura Ingraham’s Fox show hours after DeSantis made his glitch-plagued Twitter Spaces announcement that he will seek the GOP presidential nomination in 2024, Gingrich compared the two candidates.

“One of Trump’s great advantages is he talks at a level where third, fourth and fifth grade educations can say, ‘Oh yeah, I get that. I understand it.’”

Apparently, low IQ voters are indeed Trump’s forte, as he proudly announced back in 2016 after he won the Nevada primary.

Who wants to tell Newt? Twitter said what we’re all thinking.

Biden Trolls DeSantis After Ron’s Twitter Campaign Announcement Crashes And Burns

It was not a good evening for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who decided to formally announce his candidacy for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination on Twitter, joined by Twitter CEO Elon Musk.

To put it mildly, the social media rollout was riddled with glitches and a completely embarrassment, as HuffPost notes.

Elon Musk, Twitter’s owner and former CEO, had teased the announcement for days, but things quickly went awry as audio feeds cut out and Twitter staff could be heard cutting in to try and fix the situation. At one point, more than 500,000 people seemed to be tuned in to the Twitter Spaces event before it suddenly went offline. Musk was able to launch a new online venue, but only about half of the original viewers were able to join.

Afterwards, the Biden-Harris 2024 campaign sent out a tweet that was clearly meant to mock DeSantis.

That was followed by celebratory tweets applauding the shade Biden had just thrown at DeSantis.
