Trump Is Reportedly ‘Intrigued’ By The Idea Of Challenging McCarthy To Be Speaker Of The House In 2023

Failed, one-term former President Donald Trump is reportedly considering supplanting Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House of Representatives if Republicans retake control of the House in the 2022 midterm elections.

The Washington Post reports that Trump is assessing how he can best get back into the political fray of Washington and doesn’t want to wait until to run for the White House again in 2024:

“One adviser said some have urged Trump to withhold his support for McCarthy to be the next speaker of the House if Republicans retake the chamber in 2022, and the former president has appeared intrigued by the idea.

“‘Why not focus on the biggest, brightest brass ring in politics and the Republican Party between now and 2024, which is who should be speaker when, with Donald Trump’s help, Republicans take the House?’ the advisor said.”

However, not everyone in Trump’s inner circle thinks the idea of being Speaker is a good idea:

“Others close to both Trump and McCarthy, however, said they believe Trump will ultimately have little choice but to support McCarthy for speaker should Republicans regain the House.”

In case you’re wondering, there is no requirement that the House Speaker be a member of Congress, so Trump wouldn’t have to face voters and seek to win a seat in the House. He would just need the votes of a majority of the GOP caucus to be named as Speaker of the chamber.

The most telling part of this report, however, is that it should be clear to every Republican who still possesses a scintilla of gray matter that Donald Trump will stab any of them in the back to get what he wants. They’re all expendable to him, and he has no loyalty to anyone but himself.

Way to go, GOP! You just proved your own impotence when it comes to opposing a man who doesn’t give a damn about any of you. Not exactly a profile in courage.

Eric Trump Thought He’d Attack Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff – BIG Mistake

In a desperate attempt to pretend he’s still relevant, Eric Trump sent out a tweet that raised questions about his mental stability and left most people scratching their heads.

HuffPost notes that Eric wanted to announce that he’d just unsubscribed from the email list of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris:

“Ex-President Donald Trump’s son shared what appeared to be a screenshot showing a successful unsubscribe. Checked was a box explaining it was because ‘the emails are inappropriate.’

“’Second Gentleman’ — the formal moniker for Emhoff — was underlined.

“Trump captioned his post with the #unsubscribe hashtag.”

How pathetic was the tweet? So much so that Eric later deleted it, but not before everyone had seen it. That set off a wave of mockery aimed in Eric’s direction:

There’s an old saying that certainly applies to every member of the Trump family: Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Is The Trump Organization On The Verge Of Financial Collapse?

When he first announced he was running for president back in 2015, Donald Trump promised he’d run the United States the way he ran his business and every American would prosper as a result.

Six years later, however, the U.S. is in a deep economic recession and reeling from Trump’s failure to properly deal with the coronavirus pandemic, both of which led to him being consigned to history as a failed, one-term president.

And, six years later, the Trump Organization is quickly going broke, with CBS News reporting that four of Trump’s top money-earning properties in New York City are ailing financially:

“Last year marked the fifth year in a row in which the four most prominent Trump-owned buildings in Manhattan, including the Fifth Avenue Trump Tower made famous by ‘The Apprentice’ TV show, missed lenders’ earnings expectations, according to a CBS MoneyWatch review of publicly available documents. 

“Wells Fargo and other banks have told investors who have funded Trump’s loans that an income slump due in part to the ‘COVID-19 global pandemic‘ means the buildings might not generate enough cash to cover their mortgage payments, according to banker notes to investors reviewed by CBS MoneyWatch. ‘The loan is being monitored,’ said a note to investors in one CMBS deal tied to a Trump property from a unit of PNC Bank that services commercial mortgages.”

These latest developments regarding the Trump Organization are not unexpected. Last year, The Economic Times reported that Trump’s business was in big trouble:

“Like other hotels around the world, Trump’s have been forced to lay off most workers — and face the fact that the $435 million in revenues that the Trump Organization reported in 2018 is likely to plummet this year.”

Trump’s legal problems could also spell doom for his company, which is run by him and hit three eldest children, Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric:

“Beyond the four buildings’ marketplace challenges, their financing could also pose a legal risk for Trump. New York City prosecutors have obtained millions of pages of Trump’s tax records and related correspondence as part of an ongoing criminal probe into his financial deals. Sources with knowledge of the investigation tell CBS News that prosecutors are reviewing financial documents involving the four Manhattan buildings. Subpoenas indicate the prosecutors are also scrutinizing at least one other Trump property in suburban Bedford, New York.”

The Trump Organization is about to go the way of the dinosaurs. Don’t be surprised if it collapses entirely within the next six months.

Federal Judge Indicates Rod Rosenstein Is Going To Need A Good Criminal Attorney

U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson recently issued a scathing ruling in which she ordered the Justice Department to release a memo from the DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel which helped support former Attorney General William Barr’s decision not to prosecute failed, one-term former President Donald Trump on charges of obstruction of justice, making it clear that she believed Barr had lied to maintain a narrative that the Mueller report cleared Trump, which it most certainly didn’t.

Judge Jackson wrote:

“The review of the document reveals that the Attorney General was not then engaged in making a decision about whether the President should be charged with obstruction of justice; the fact that he would not be prosecuted was a given.”

Barr had made up his mind prior to receiving the report from Special Counsel Robert Mueller: He would declare that Trump had been cleared by Mueller and urge the country to move on.

But it turns out Barr didn’t pull off his deception alone. Instead, he had lots of help from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

Remember Rod Rosenstein? He’s the one who appointed Mueller after then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions had recused himself because he had a conflict of interest. Rosenstein was seen as a steady, reliable man who would do what was right, not what was politically expedient.

However, as attorney Dirk Schwenk points out in a fascinating Twitter thread, Judge Jackson also exposed Rosenstein as a co-conspirator who had better hope he has a good criminal attorney on retainer:

Be sure and read the above tweet very carefully. Rosenstein and Barr had the OLC memo drafted to help cover up a decision the AG made regarding the Mueller investigation: No matter what Mueller found, Trump would be protected at all costs. That was the prime objective.

Barr, Rosenstein, and the Office of Legal Counsel were all in on the fix from the beginning. They would declare Trump exonerated even if Mueller said otherwise. Mueller was used as a pawn in a larger criminal scheme to assure that Trump wasn’t found guilty.

Rosenstein set the cover-up in place; Barr took the ball and carried it over the goal line. The upper echelons of the DOJ were used to protect Trump instead of protecting the Constitution those same Justice Department officials had sworn to uphold.

Rod Rosenstein is a criminal. So is Barr. So are others at the DOJ who were part of the conspiracy. It’s time to charge them and try them in a court of law.

Arizona Republicans Are Looking For ‘Bamboo Fibers’ On Ballots To Prove China Stole The 2020 Election

In their desperate and futile attempt to prove that accused rapist and one-term loser former President Donald Trump actually won the state of Arizona (and the entire 2020 election), Republicans in the Grand Canyon State are now asserting that China stole the vote from Trump and handed it to Joe Biden.

Not crazy enough for you? Well, consider this from Slate:

“On Wednesday, a member of the Arizona election audit team that has been heavily touted by former President Donald Trump revealed that its examination of the 2020 vote in Maricopa County will include a ‘forensic’ analysis of ballots to determine if the paper is made of bamboo—in order to determine whether or not China delivered tens of thousands of fraudulent ballots to tip the state to Joe Biden.”

Yep, truth truly is stranger than fiction. You simply cannot make this shit up!

John Brakey, one of the officials who is “overseeing” the Arizona audit, was the clown who floated the “Asia” theory of what took place last November, remarking:

“There’s accusations that 40,000 ballots were flown in and stuffed into the box and it came from the Southeast part of the world, Asia. And what they’re doing is to find out if there’s bamboo in the paper.”

Bamboo in the paper. He actually said that. Here’s the video for any doubters:

When Brakey was asked the logical follow-up question, Why are you looking for bamboo, he responded:

“People in Southeast Asia…use bamboo in their paper processing. This is part of the mystery that we want to un-gaslight people about.”

Clearly, John Brakey has been sniffing far too much of the gas in the “gaslight” he’s referring to, and it has permanently damaged what little bit of brain matter he had left in his otherwise empty skull.

So this is where we’re at when it comes to the Trump faithful and millions of Republican voters across the United States: If the GOP loses, it must have been because the Democrats cheated. Of course, all evidence suggests that the vast majority of those who commit what little voter fraud there is in the country are card-carrying Republicans. But their cheating doesn’t count because it’s done on behalf of the best interests of the poor, ignorant voters who have no idea which way to mark their ballot.

Truth is now dead among at least half of this country. They killed it and now they want to replace with a conspiracy theory they found in the darkest bowels of the internet.

Maybe we should give these morons their very own “nation” on an abandoned oil derrick out in the Pacific Ocean and let them live in their version of reality instead of running the risk they’ll infect anyone else.
