Doocy Whines Biden Isn’t Being Nice Enough And Gets Taken To The Woodshed By Jen Psaki

It has become an almost daily ritual that Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy will ask an utterly moronic question or make a brainless remark that quickly gets shot down by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

So by now you might think that Doocy would dial back some of his BS and act the way a journalist is supposed to: Ask tough, fair questions and not try to get into a debate when the person he’s asking is happy to answer whatever queries he might have.

However, Doocy is clearly a masochist and enjoys getting reprimanded by Psaki on a level that’s too disgusting and perverse to contemplate for more than two seconds before it makes your teeth ache.

Such was the case yet again on Friday at the daily White House press briefing when Doocy referenced a speech President Joe Biden made this week in Atlanta about voting rights and asked:

“As you talked about a year ago and working with Republicans, now [President Biden] is talking about Republicans that don’t agree with voting rights, he’s describing them as George Wallace, Bull Connor, and Jefferson Davis. What happened to the guy who, when he was elected said: ‘To make progress me must stop treating our opponents as our enemy’?”

Actually, here’s what the president said:

“Do you want to be on the side of Dr. King or George Wallace? Do you want to be on the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis? This is the moment to decide to defend our elections, to defend our democracy.”

It’s eminently clear that Biden didn’t describe anyone as Bull Connor or George Wallace. What he rhetorically asked is, Whose side would you rather be on? Make your choice carefully.

And that’s exactly what Psaki told Doocy, pointing out the flaws in his question and setting the record straight:

“I think everybody listening to that speech, who’s speaking on the level, as my mother would say, would note that he was not comparing them as humans. He was comparing the choice to those figures in history and where they’re going to position themselves, if they as it – as they determine whether they’re going to support the fundamental right to vote or not.”

There’s an old saying we have in the South that applies to Peter Doocy and other conservatives who were “offended” by President Biden’s speech: A hit dog will holler. In other words, if you felt attacked by something someone said, it probably means you’re guilty and are hollering because it hit a bit too close to home.

WATCH Jen Psaki Slap Down Peter Doocy’s Lies About Health Policy

It’s safe to say that since COVID first hit the United States back in January of 2020, no “news” organization has told more lies about the pandemic than Fox, which also happens to have the largest audience of any conservative network.

Consider a few of Fox’s biggest lies about coronavirus, as compiled by Gizmodo:

  • “According to Fox News host Tucker Carlson, the U.S. government is hiding deaths from the covid-19 vaccine. It’s a claim Carlson made multiple times in 2021, like on May 5, when he pulled numbers from the federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, or VAERS.” (That’s false, Politifact reported)
  • “On the December 8, 2021 edition of Tucker Carlson’s online show, the Fox News host claimed that covid-19 was making men more feminine:

“So somebody who knows him told me, and I’d be interested in getting your take on this, that getting covid emasculated him, it changed him, it feminized him, it weakened him as a man,” Carlson asked. (Not even remotely true.)

  • “Fox News host Martha MacCallum made the claim on March 9 that masks probably weren’t helping in the ways being promoted by the U.S. government, albeit belatedly.” (Actually, all scientific evidence suggests that masks do indeed slow the spread of the disease.)

So it probably shouldn’t come as any surprise that Fox correspondent Peter Doocy would try to sneak a lie past White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki when he asked:

“You’re triple-vaxed, still got COVID. Why is the president still referring to this as a pandemic of the unvaccinated?”

And that’s when Pskai burned Doocy to the ground using every conservative’s worst enemy: Facts.

“Well I think, Peter, that there’s a significant difference. I had been triple-vaxxed. I had minor symptoms. There is a huge difference between that and being unvaccinated. You are 17 times more likely to go to the hospital if you’re unvaccinated, 20 times more likely to die.”

The scientific evidence does indeed support Psaki and the Biden administration, with recent data from hospitals in the state of New York showing that unvaccinated people in the state are 32 times more likely to be hospitalized if they contract COVID-19.

Laura Ingraham Calls The Biden White House ‘The MSNBC Administration’ And Gets Hit With A Blunt Reminder

According to Fox News host Laura Ingraham, President Joe Biden isn’t actually running the country. On her show Wednesday evening, Ingraham declared that the Biden White House should be called “the MSNBC administration,” Mediaite reports:
“This is the Democrats’ entire political agenda in 2022: ‘We’ll protect from you the insurrectionists.’ “This isn’t a hard left country. They’re not going to be able to convince voters to dump the Electoral College, make D.C. a state, get rid of capitalism, or eliminate prisons. Not gonna happen. This isn’t the Biden administration, though. Is it really? It’s the MSNBC administration.”
Wow! That’s pretty rich when you consider that Fox News was constantly cheering for and advising failed, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump during his term in office. Additionally, at least 21 people worked at Fox News and later in the Trump administration. In other words, Ingraham is engaged in classic projection: Accusing others of your own actions. It’s the very same tactic used by tyrants throughout history. And that’s exactly what social media users told Ingraham as they slammed her for being a pathetic hypocrite:

Peter Doocy Tries To Blame Biden For The Fox Christmas Tree Arson – And Gets Schooled By Jen Psaki

Ever since a mentally ill homeless man set fire to the gaudy Christmas tree outside Fox News headquarters in New York last week, propagandists at the right-wing network have desperately been trying to find a way to blame the incident on President Joe Biden, suggesting that a rise in the crime rate across the country led to the torching of the Fox tree.

On Monday, Fox correspondent Peter Doocy ran the idea of Biden shouldering some of the blame by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, and based on the response he received, he probably wishes he’d kept that question on his notepad and to himself.

Specifically, Doocy noted that the man charged with the crime had been charged and released until his court date, which led him to go on a mini-rant aimed at the president, who has absolutely nothing to do with who does or doesn’t go to jail in the city of New York:

“But I guess what good does it do if you’re gonna give police departments extra money if they arrest bad guys, and they bring ’em to jail, and then they’re not prosecuted? They’re just right back out on the street.

“We’ve seen an arsonist burn down a half a million dollar Christmas tree in New York City. Back out on the streets. Does the President think that that’s good governing?”

That was all it took for Psaki to calmly remind Doocy how the criminal justice system works and what powers a president does and doesn’t have as it relates to crimes committed in local jurisdictions:

“I think Peter, what our focus is on is making sure that the local leaders, the police officers and departments who know what they need for these communities have the assistance and the funding they need and that’s what we’re working around the clock on.

“I would point you to the local police departments or the Department of Justice.”

In other words, stop asking moronic questions you know the answer to before you ever pose them.

And if you’re dumb enough to put up a half-million dollar tree in a public place and someone decides to burn it down, take your tax write-off and shut the hell up already. You sound like a damn three-year-old who didn’t get what he wanted from Santa.

GOP Senator Makes A Fool Of Himself When He Tries To Smear Biden Nominee

During a confirmation hearing in the Senate Banking Committee on Thursday, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) proved that though he may not be as well known as his equally obnoxious GOP colleagues, Sens. Ted Cruz (TX) and Josh Hawley (MO), he’s just as narrow-minded and bigoted as his two colleagues.

The Banking Committee was considering the nomination of Saule Omarova to be comptroller of currency, and Kennedy used his allotted time to suggest that since Dr. Omarova was born in Kazakhstan when it was still part of the Soviet Union. As a child in that Soviet satellite, Omarova was forced to join the Young Communists because if she hadn’t she would have been persecuted by Soviet authorities and perhaps even sent to a gulag where she would more than likely have died.

Specifically, according to CNBC, Kennedy went out of his way to suggest that Omarova might still be a communist:

Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., asked Omarova about her membership in a youth communist group during her childhood in Kazakhstan.

Omarova replied that membership in the Communist Party was required under the totalitarian government and noted that members of her family were murdered by the Communist Party led by Joseph Stalin.

That’s the very same Joseph Stalin who killed an estimated 6 million people he considered to be “disloyal” to him. The Omarova family could either claim to be communists or they could have been wiped off the face of the planet.

And yet, Kennedy felt it necessary to then add:

“I’m struggling with what to call her. I don’t know whether to call her ‘Professor’ or ‘Comrade.’”

Fortunately, Democrats on the committee called out Kennedy for his comments, with Committee Chairman Sherrod Brown of Ohio noting that his colleague was asking “irrelevant” questions. Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts called Kennedy’s remarks “vicious.”

The real reason Kennedy and other Republicans are opposed to Dr. Omarova is because she’s promised to keep a close eye on the reckless fiscal policies of big banks, telling NY Magazine in a recent interview:

“They [the banks] know that I won’t let them do whatever they want. I’m not the one to easily go along with whatever big banks would tell me is ‘good for them, therefore good for the country.’ I want to make sure that what is good for them is also good for the country. I’m also very reasonable, and I will have an open door, and I will work with any bank that wants to do good for the country. Any bank that wants to channel credit into the real communities, real economy, I’ll be their best friend. If wealthy banks genuinely commit to doing good for the United States, then they have nothing to be afraid of from me. Nothing.”

That’s not what big banks like Chase, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo want to hear, so their paid puppets in the Senate GOP are attacking Dr. Omarova as some sort of a danger to capitalism, which is total bullshit.

Banks need to be regulated. If you doubt that, remember how the foolish policies of banks nearly crashed the U.S. economy back in 2007 and led to what became known as the Great Recession.

Sen. Kennedy and his ilk are nothing but bigoted assholes who would gladly crash the American economy again if it would benefit their corporate sugar daddies.
