Trump Tells Laura Ingraham That Putin Invaded Ukraine ‘Because Of A Rigged Election’

Shortly after Russian forces began a military attack on Ukraine Wednesday evening, failed, one-term former President Donald Trump called into Fox News for the sole purpose of airing his bogus claims that the 2020 election had been stolen from him.

Trump began by slamming the current President of the United States, Joe Biden, telling Ingraham:

“He doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing. It’s a disgrace. It’s an absolute disgrace. We have get back into the real world now. We had energy at a level that nobody’s ever seen.”

The ex-president also suggested that Russian President Vladimir Putin moved on Ukraine because of the “weakness and incompetence and stupidity” of the Biden administration:

“As an American I’m angry about it, and I’m saddened by it, and it all happened because of a rigged election.”

“This would have never happened, and that includes inflation, and that includes millions of people pouring in on a monthly basis, far more than three million people, and they’re coming from 129 different countries, we have no idea what’s happening, and they’re destroying our country.”

Later in the discussion, Ingraham noted:

“We’re just learning that U.S. officials are looking at a potential amphibious landing now in Odessa, Ukraine. A month ago or three weeks ago, all the so-called experts were saying that Putin was probably gonna just be content with staying in those separatists regions. But I think given what’s unfolded – sadly with a lot of weakness in the United States – they just decided to go for it.”

That’s when Trump proved he can’t even get the most basic facts of a conversation correct, telling the Fox host:

“But you know what’s also very dangerous is you told me about the amphibious attack by Americans. You shouldn’t be saying that because you and everybody else shouldn’t know about it. They should do that secretly, not be doing that through the great Laura Ingraham. They should be doing that secretly. Nobody should know that, Laura, and you know–”

Ingraham immediately corrected the doddering former president:

“No, those are the Russian amphibious landings.”

The “rigged” election was in 2016, when Putin helped Trump get elected. Donald knows that, and it’s why he’s constantly trying to divert attention away from the crimes he committed to get elected.

Tom Cotton Gets His A*s Handed To Him When He Accuses Democrats Of Being Soft On Putin

During a debate in the Senate on the lifting of sanctions on a pipeline, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) accused Democrats of “appeasing” Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Newsweek reports:

Cotton took broad aim at how the Democrats had handled Moscow in criticism, referring in particular to the Biden administration’s suspension of sanctions on entities involved with the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

Critics, including both Republicans and Democrats, say that the pipeline, which will take gas between Russia and Germany, gives Putin a geopolitical advantage. The pipeline was stalled by German lawmakers this week.

That led Cotton to remark:

“The simplest way to deter invasion of Ukraine, the simplest way to deter Russian aggression, is to draw clear red lines of enforcement, something that Joe Biden will not do, something that apparently the Democratic senators will not force him to do.”

In response, New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen immediately fired back at Cotton, reminding him that he’d been allowed to visit Russia while the Russian government refused to grant her entry:

“I just have to take real umbrage at your suggestion, Sen. Cotton. I’m the one who Vladimir Putin refused a visa to get into Russia, because of my opposition to Russia, and to what Putin was doing.”

She then added:

“He didn’t deny you a visa to get into the country. So don’t talk to me about how I’ve not been tough enough on Russia, because that dog won’t hunt!”

Keep in mind this is the same Tom Cotton who refused to impeach failed, one-term former President Donald Trump for extorting our Ukrainian allies unless they agree to help him trash President Joe Biden. He delayed military aid to them at a time when Ukraine was being harassed and threatened with attack by Putin’s military.

Do us all a favor, Sen. Cotton: Sit down and shut the hell up.

Tucker Carlson Got Busted Playing Footsie With The Kremlin – Now He’s Screaming He Was Set Up

A week and a half ago, Fox News host Tucker Carlson announced on his nightly show that the National Security Agency (NSA) had been spying on him, telling his viewers:

“Yesterday, we heard from a whistleblower within the U.S. government who reached out to warn us that the NSA — the National Security Agency — is monitoring our electronic communications, and is planning to leak them in an effort to take this show off the air. Now, that’s a shocking claim, and ordinarily we’d be skeptical because it is illegal for the NSA to spy on American citizens. It’s a crime. It’s not a third-world country. Things like that should not happen in America.”

Why would the NSA be the least bit interested in Tucker Carlson? Granted, he’s on television nightly, but he lies so much and pumps out so many bogus conspiracy theories that nothing he says can be taken seriously.

Unless, of course, Carlson was reaching out to an adversarial government in an attempt to arrange an interview with one of the most despised men on the face of the planet.

According to Vox:

“Tucker Carlson was talking to U.S.-based Kremlin intermediaries about setting up an interview with Vladimir Putin shortly before the Fox News host accused the National Security Agency of spying on him, sources familiar with the conversations tell Axios.”

Think about that for a moment: An American going through intermediaries who contacted the Kremlin, either via phone or email, about meeting with Putin, who is believed to have personally signed off on a deliberate attack on the 2016 election and who is also in charge of various Russian intelligence agencies that continue to target the United States via computer hacking and ransomware attacks.

Quite frankly, Carlson’s lucky the FBI hasn’t paid him a visit and asked why he’s making contacts with sources inside of Russia.

Once again, quoting Axios:

“Those sources said U.S. government officials learned about Carlson’s efforts to secure the Putin interview. Carlson learned that the government was aware of his outreach — and that’s the basis of his extraordinary accusation, followed by a rare public denial by the NSA that he had been targeted.”

In other words, Carlson knew he’d gotten busted reaching out to Russia and tried to suggest he was being set up by U.S. intelligence. But it also begs the question of why Carlson or Fox didn’t make the government aware of their contacts in advance, which is often done by reporters who are attempting to communicate with foreign leaders.

Something about Carlson’s paranoid ramblings suggests there’s more to this story that has yet to come out. And when it does, don’t be surprised if the Fox host and his network are proven to have been on the brink of having broken the law.

This story isn’t over with, and that should terrify Tucker Carlson.

Fox Host Greg Gutfeld Says He’s Hopeful Putin Will Kill Biden At Their Upcoming Summit

Perhaps you thought Fox News couldn’t possibly get any lower or more disgusting, If so, then you might be interested to know that Fox host Greg Gutfeld is actually saying he hopes Russian President Vladimir Putin kills President Joe Biden when they meet for a summit on June 16 in Geneva.

During a discussion of recent cyber attacks by Russian entities on the United States according to Crooks and Liars, most of the co-hosts said Biden should refuse to meet with Putin, even though they had no problem with failed, one-term former President Donald Trump doing so and kissing Putin’s butt every chance he got.

Co-host Dagen McDowell was adamant, insisting that meeting with Russia was a gift that Biden should refuse to grant Putin.

That’s when Gutfeld spoke up, proudly declaring:

“I gotta disagree, if he holds firm you know, there’s going to be something we can get out of this. There’s going to be something. If Putin decides to have them killed. That’s something. You know? It’s possible.”

The director of the show immediately cut to a commercial, but Gutfeld never said he was kidding or clarified what he had wished for. And worst of all, he still hasn’t been taken off the air and fired!

If nothing else, Gutfeld should get a visit from the Secret Service and have the shit scared out of him.

 

UPDATE: Jessica Ketner of the Fox News media relations department insists Gutfeld wasn’t referring to Putin killing Biden:

“Greg does not suggest Putin may kill President Biden. Greg said Putin could have the hackers killed.”

Trump Allowed Russia To Steal The ‘Crown Jewels’ Of U.S. Intelligence: Report

As if it wasn’t bad enough that failed, one-term former President Donald Trump repeatedly kowtowed to Russian President Vladimir Putin, it turns out that Russian hackers also managed to steal what is being called the “crown jewels” from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The Associated Press (AP) reports that hackers from Russia managed to steal emails from top officials in the DHS, which could have serious implications for U.S. national security:

“Suspected Russian hackers gained access to email accounts belonging to the Trump administration’s head of the Department of Homeland Security and members of the department’s cybersecurity staff whose jobs included hunting threats from foreign countries, The Associated Press has learned.

“The intelligence value of the hacking of then-acting Secretary Chad Wolf and his staff is not publicly known, but the symbolism is stark. Their accounts were accessed as part of what’s known as the SolarWinds intrusion, and it throws into question how the U.S. government can protect individuals, companies and institutions across the country if it can’t protect itself.”

The Biden administration is trying to decide exactly what sanctions to impose on Russia for the DHS hack, but based on the AP’s reporting, it seems fair to surmise the punishment will be severe.

Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) says targeting the DHS allowed Russia to have access to some of the most carefully guarded secrets in the world:

“The SolarWinds hack was a victory for our foreign adversaries, and a failure for DHS. We are talking about DHS’s crown jewels.”

Since Homeland Security is tasked with overseeing several important agencies — including the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Customs Service, the Russian hack means Russian intelligence may have obtained information that could directly impact the security of the United States.

Though it remains unclear exactly how harsh the White House will choose to be with sanctions, it has already become clear to Russia that relations between the two nations will continue to be strained. When Biden was recently asked if he thought Putin was a “killer,” he quickly replied that he did.

Trump, on the other hand, tried to suggest there were many killers in the United States, trying to excuse Putin’s murderous actions.

One thing is certain: Russia and Putin will no longer be coddled by the American head of state. And based on their actions, they damn well shouldn’t be.
