Hannity Accidentally Condemns Trump By Listing The 30+ Crimes That Could Send Him To Prison

In a desperate attempt to defend failed, one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump on his show Monday evening, Fox News host Sean Hannity only succeeded in humiliating himself and the Donald as he ran through the 30+ investigations and crimes of the ex-president that could result in serious prison time if he’s convicted.

Mediaite notes that Hannity kicked off his show by suggesting that Democrats were obsessed with investigating Trump:

“Instead of trying to fix the economy or dare talk about it, or the border, or the fentanyl or opioid crisis, or the crime crisis, Democrats have been wasting all of their time and billion dollars of your taxes with one investigation after investigation into all things Donald Trump,” Hannity said. “This has been going on now for years.”

But the graphic Hannity ran as he railed against Trump being under the microscope for his alleged wrongdoings severely undercut the message he was attempting to convey.

The list, as you’ll see in the video, was voluminous, and yet the Fox host added this kicker:

“After all of this, Trump hasn’t been charged with any crime whatsoever, and they are trying hard, but there has been nothing. That’s because the partisan Democrats in charge of all of these witch hunts, they’re not investigating crimes. They’re investigating a person in a blatant attempt to smear, slander, destroy him and destroy his supporters. It’s the old Soviet Union saying: ‘show me the man, I’ll find you the crime.’ Except, they haven’t actually found a crime yet, so I guess they’ll make that up too.”

It didn’t take long before Twitter users mocked Hannity for doing more harm than good in his efforts to rescue his political savior.

Peter Doocy Tried To Use Two Old Tweets Against Karine Jean-Pierre – Big Mistake

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy tried to trip up White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday, attempting to call her out for tweets she made in 2016 and comments from President Joe Biden regarding “MAGA Republicans.”

Doocy began by asking:

“So if we’re all in agreement that it is incorrect to say the 2020 election was stolen, what about the 2016 election?”

Jean-Pierre put Doocy on notice that she wasn’t about to relitigate an election from six years ago:

“Look, I’m not gonna go back to where we were or what happened in 2016. We’re going to focus on the here and now, we’re going to focus on what’s happening today. “

She added:

“(The president) believes that’s where [the] majority of Americans are when it comes to protecting our democracy, when it comes to protecting our rights, and when it comes to protecting our freedoms, that’s what we’re going to talk about. That’s what we’re going to focus on on where we are at today.”

And that’s when Doocy decided to play his “gotcha!” card on the press secretary:

“But just in terms of trying to understand the new attention on the MAGA Republicans, you tweeted –”

Jean-Pierre:

“Oh I knew this was coming. I was waiting, Peter, when you were gonna ask me that question.”

Doocy continued:

“Well, you tweeted, ‘Trump stole an election, you tweeted [Georgia GOP governor] Brian Kemp stole an election. If denying election results is extreme now, why wasn’t it then?”

Here’s the tweets Doocy referenced:

That’s when Jean-Pierre put Doocy on full blast:

“So, let’s be really clear that that comparison that you made is just ridiculous,” she responded, as he interrupted. “I have been, I have been, well, you’re asking me, you’re asking me a question. Let me answer it.

“I was, I was talking specifically at the time of what was happening with voting rights, and the what was in danger of voting rights. That’s what I was speaking to at the time. And here’s the thing, I have said, Governor Kemp won the election in Georgia. I’ve been clear about that. I have said President Trump won the election of 2016, and I’ve been clear about that.”

She continued:

“What we are talking about right now is let’s not forget what happened on January 6, 2021. We saw an insurrection, a mob that was incited by the person who occupied this campus, this facility, at that time, and it was an attack on our democracy. Let’s not forget people died that day. Law enforcement were attacked that day. That was the danger that we were seeing at the time. That’s what the President has called out. And that’s what he’s going to continue to call it out.”

Trump Slams Fox For ‘Pushing The Democrat Agenda’ – Offers to Help CNN Go ‘Conservative’

After attacking CNN for years as purveyors of “fake news,” disgraced former president Donald Trump is now offering to help the network shift to being “conservative.”

At the same time, Trump is slamming Fox News for “pushing the Democrat agenda” and suggesting they are on the way out as a force in right-wing media.

Trump made those statements on his Truth Social (a.k.a. Twitter for losers) platform Sunday, with Newsweek reporting:

Trump hit out at Fox News in a Truth Social post on Sunday in the latest sign the former president’s opinion of the news channel—which he frequently watched and praised during his time in the White House—has soured slightly.

In the same social media post, Trump also suggested it would be an “absolute gold mine” if CNN became conservative amid reports the channel is aiming to become more politically neutral and less critical of the former president under new leader Chris Licht.

Here’s what the twice-impeached ex-president had to say about the two networks:

“Wow! Fox News is really pushing the Democrats and the Democrat agenda. Gets worse every single day. So many Dems interviewed with only softball questions, then Republican counterparts get creamed.”

“If ‘low ratings’ CNN ever went Conservative, they would be an absolute gold mine, and I would help them to do so.”

It has indeed appeared that CNN is taking a sudden turn to the right, with Sara Fischer of Axios reporting

In a memo to staff in May, Licht said he wants CNN to help regain the trust that many people have lost in media, by “fearlessly speaking truth to power, challenging the status quo, questioning ‘group-think,’ and educating viewers and readers with straightforward facts and insightful commentary, while always being respectful of differing viewpoints.

“People are freaked out,” said one CNN journalist. “It almost feels like there’s a pattern. Is there a purge going on? They seem to be sending a message: ‘Watch what you say. Watch what you do.’

However, before CNN decides to ink a pact with the devil (Trump), they’d be wise to consider that if Donald is now turning on his longtime ally Fox, he wouldn’t think twice about tossing CNN under the bus, too.

Fox Legal Analyst Mocks Trump: He’s Going To Be Indicted For A Crime He Said Deserved The Death Penalty

Former Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano is convinced that failed, one-term former president Donald Trump will indeed be indicted for violations of the Espionage Act, which is ironic since the disgraced ex-president once said such crimes were deserving of a death sentence.

Writing in the conservative Washington Times, Napolitano lays out the case against Trump:

Even a cursory review of the redacted version of the affidavit submitted in support of the government’s application for a search warrant at the home of former President Donald Trump reveals that he will soon be indicted by a federal grand jury for three crimes: Removing and concealing national defense information (NDI), giving NDI to those not legally entitled to possess it, and obstruction of justice by failing to return NDI to those who are legally entitled to retrieve it.

Napolitano also notes that Trump made one of the biggest mistakes a potential defendant can possibly make: Denying something before he had been accused of it:

Under the law, it doesn’t matter if the documents on which NDI is contained are classified or not, as it is simply and always criminal to have NDI in a non-federal facility, to have those without security clearances move it from one place to another, and to keep it from the feds when they are seeking it. Stated differently, the absence of classification — for whatever reason — is not a defense to the charges that are likely to be filed against Mr. Trump.

He committed a mortal sin in the criminal defense world by denying something for which he had not been accused.

But most ironic of all, Napolitano concludes, is that Trump once said anyone charged with crimes of espionage should be executed:

In a monumental irony, both Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks journalist who exposed American war crimes during the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, and Edward Snowden, the former National Security Agency employee who exposed criminal mass government surveillance upon the American public, stand charged with the very same crimes that are likely to be brought against Mr. Trump,” Napolitano wrote. “On both Mr. Assange and Mr. Snowden, Mr. Trump argued that they should be executed. Fortunately for all three, these statutes do not provide for capital punishment.

WATCH: Journalist Tells Fox Host Many Of The Documents Trump Had Would’ve Benefitted Putin

A noted journalist who has written extensively on the CIA, FBI, and Secret Service laid some uncomfortable truth on Fox News host Jesse Watters during an appearance on his show Thursday evening.

Ronald Kessler, author of the book, The Secrets of the FBI, explained to Watters what was probably in the classified documents failed former president Donald Trump took to Mar-a-Lago when he left the White House, explained:

“The level of classification that we’re talking about here for these documents, beyond top secret beyond sensitive compartmented, that could very well include the plans for counterstriking against Russia in the event of a nuclear attack.

“That’s something that’s part of the football program where the president chooses options from these documents on how to respond. He has to respond within 20 minutes to prevent the annihilation of the United States. And that’s one item that could be in these documents.”

Kessler added that the documents could also be about CIA “penetrations” of foreign nations, especially ones that have an adversarial relationship with the United States:

“Another is our penetrations by the CIA of foreign embassies, of foreign leaders like Putin, as well as recruitment of foreign spies overseas. So, we’re talking about incredibly valuable secrets that the Russians would have been after. The Russians would have been trying to penetrate the day and night and very possibly did recruit spies to obtain these documents.”

Rather than let Kessler continue, Watters interrupted him so he could defend Trump:

“So you’re saying that they could be there? We have no idea if they’re there or not and will never know and at this point based upon all of your reporting and the report we just did at the top you can’t trust these guys because they lie and they plant evidence for a living.”

As usual, Fox doesn’t want the actual truth about what Trump may have done. It gets in the way of their attempt to portray the disgraced ex-president as some sort of saint or savior. But a traitor is a traitor, and if it’s proven that Trump gave or sold top-secret materials to other countries, he deserves the harshest possible penalty.
