Pelosi Questions Trump’s Manhood And Mocks Him For Having ‘No Courage’ – ‘He’s All Talk’

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is making it clear that she doesn’t think failed former president Donald Trump isn’t much of a man and has “no courage” at all.

Speaking with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell on Tuesday, Pelosi referenced her threat to punch Trump if he dared to show up at the Capitol on January 6, 2021:

“He wouldn’t have had to courage to come to the Hill, He’s all talk.”

Footage from the Jan. 6 House Select Committee revealed Pelosi’s anger at Trump on the day the Capitol was under siege, HuffPost notes:

“I hope he comes. I’m going to punch him out. I’ve been waiting for this. For trespassing on the Capitol grounds. I’m going to punch him out. And I’m going to go to jail and I’m going to be happy.”

In response, Trump labeled Pelosi a “despicable person.”

The Speaker also told Mitchell that while she isn’t fond of having to talk about Trump, she feels a need to let the American people know what the GOP has planned if they retake control of Congress and Trump runs again in 2024:

“Our democracy is at stake when you define democracy as integrity of the vote. They want to suppress the vote. They’ve been doing that for a long time. They want to nullify the results of an election. They’re even proposing that after an election, if they don’t like the results, they will change the rules that would have governed that election retroactively. So you have to recognize that they are undermining our democracy.”

Will Trump run in 2024? Not everyone is convinced he will.

The disgraced ex-president’s former attorney, Michael Cohen, says the Donald can’t stand the thought of being a two-time loser and is making too much money from not running:

“Trump has a real problem with being called a loser. There’s something inside of him possibly because he knows that he is cannot stomach being a two-time loser. He has an incredibly fragile ego. To become a two-time loser would just destroy him. So, I do not, and I’ve always stated the same, I do not believe he’s going to run.”

Republicans Planning To Use Debt Ceiling Limit To Slash Social Security In 2023: Report

Imagine a year from now when it’s time to raise the debt ceiling or default on the loans the United States has around the world.

In the past, Congress has always agreed to raise the debt ceiling.

But if Republicans win control of the House in the upcoming midterm elections, it certainly sounds like they intend to hold the nation hostage and demand cuts to Social Security in exchange for an agreement to raise the debt ceiling.

HuffPost reports that the fear of such a move comes from remarks made by Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), the leading candidate to be Speaker of the House if the GOP wins control the House.

“You can’t just continue down the path to keep spending and adding to the debt,” McCarthy told Punchbowl News in an interview published Tuesday.

“And if people want to make a debt ceiling [for a longer period of time], just like anything else, there comes a point in time where, OK, we’ll provide you more money, but you got to change your current behavior,” McCarthy said. “We’re not just going to keep lifting your credit card limit, right?”

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) echoed McCarthy’s remarks:

“The debt ceiling is the natural place from which you can operate to affect spending change.”

Other Republicans have also suggested that both Social Security and Medicare would be on the chopping block if they happen to regain control of the House, with  Rep. Jodey Arrington (R-TX), saying that he wants to at least raise the eligibility age for both programs, which would in itself be a form of cutting by making people work longer to receive their benefits.

In case you’re wondering what might take place if indeed the the U.S. defaulted at debt, consider what Forbes reported last October:

In fact, an analysis by Moody’s Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi estimates that defaulting on the national debt would wipe out as many as 6 million jobs and erase $15 trillion in household wealth.

“We can’t emphasize enough how disastrous it would be for Congress to consider a government shutdown if consensus cannot be met in advance of the funding deadline. Small businesses are especially vulnerable and many would not survive a government shutdown at this time due to the pandemic, particularly with the rapid spread of the Delta variant, and trying to move from crisis to recovery,” wrote Candace Waterman, President and CEO of Women Impacting Public Policy, in a letter to U.S. House and Senate leadership.

Of course, President Joe Biden could veto any cuts to Social Security and Medicare, but if the GOP decides to play a dangerous game of chicken and wreck the economy with their demands, all of us will wind up paying the price, and that price would likely be steeper than anyone can possibly imagine.

Stock Price Of Trump’s ‘Truth Social’ Site Plummets After Kanye West Moves To Buy Parler

While disgraced former president Donald Trump may pretend to be friends with rapper Kanye West, a move West made to buy the right-wing Parler social media site has negatively impacted the stock price of Trump’s Truth Social site.

Forbes reports that in Monday trading, Trump’s company lost a full 8% of its share price.

Shares of Digital World Acquisition Corp. (DWAC), the special purpose acquisition company with turbulent plans to merge with Truth Social’s parent Trump Media and Technology Group, fell 8% to $16.11 Monday as a new brash billionaire threw his hat into the conservative social media ring.

Even worse for Trump is the fact that shares of DWAC are down 70% so far this year as Elon Musk begins to make rumblings about going through with his plans to acquire Twitter, a promise Musk has previously made and then backed away from.

West was booted from Twitter and Instagram for anti-Semitic comments in which he suggested that he was planning to carry out violence against Jews, with The Washington Post reporting:

His account, @kanyewest, was “locked for violating Twitter’s policies,” a Twitter spokesperson said in an email Sunday, declining to state which policy he had violated. The account shows that a recent tweet violated Twitter rules.

Though the tweet is no longer visible on his account, screenshots shared widely on social media show that Ye had said he would go “death con 3” on “JEWISH PEOPLE,” an apparent reference to Defcon, the U.S. military defense readiness system. In the tweet, he used antisemitic tropes and said he could not be antisemitic “because black people are actually Jew also.”

A spokesperson for Meta, the parent company of Instagram formerly known as Facebook, said in an email that the platform “deleted content from @kanyewest for violating our policies and placed a restriction on the account. We may place restrictions on accounts that repeatedly break our rules, for example, we may temporarily restrict them from posting, commenting, or sending DMs.” Screenshots of the post show that Ye had posted an apparent conversation with the rapper Diddy, employing antisemitic tropes to allege that he was being influenced by Jewish people.

For months how, there have been reports that the inability of Trump and others to raise additional capital to keep Truth Social afloat will lead to a financial collapse before the end of 2022.

Convicted Sex Trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell Gives A Warm Shout-Out To Trump

Having been convicted of child sex trafficking and sentenced to 20 years in prison, Ghislaine Maxwell is finally starting to speak out and discuss the choices she made over the years that resulted in her being incarcerated.

Speaking with Daphne Barak of The Daily Mail, Maxwell noted that she felt terrible for her “dear friend” Prince Andrew.

“Yes, I follow what is happening to him,’ Maxwell confirms. “He is paying such a price for the association with Jeffrey Epstein. I care about him, and I feel so bad for him.”

Asked about remarks former president Donald Trump made in which he wished her well, Maxwell praised the ex-president:

“He dared, while others didn’t,” is how she puts it today. “I was very touched that he would remember me and that he would wish me well. And I was very touched by his remembrance of me.”

She adds: “I think anybody who says anything remotely, either positive and/or generous about me seems to attract a lot of negative interest.

“And in fact, President Trump is famous for thinking and saying what is on his mind like whenever he says it. So I was just very touched, as I said. I appreciate it. It gave me a big boost during such a time.”

Maybe Trump gave Maxwell such a “big boost” because he was once BFFs with Epstein, saying this about the late alleged sex trafficker with a taste for underage girls:

“I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy,” Mr. Trump told New York magazine in 2002. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

And the ex-president also reportedly worried that Maxwell might tell prosecutors things about him, according to a recent book:

According to a new book by Maggie Haberman of the New York Times, Trump asked “campaign advisers … ‘You see that article in the [New York] Post today that mentioned me?’

“He kept going, to silence. ‘She say anything about me?’”

Congress GOP WTF?!

Lauren Boebert Accused Of Shooting Neighbor’s Dog In Cold Blood

If there’s one thing we know about Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is that she obsessed with guns and firearms because she thinks the Second Amendment is absolute, despite the fact that the it begins, “A well regulated Militia.” Well regulated. Does that sound absolute?

But now Boebert is accused of being the lowest of the low by allegedly shooting and killing a neighbor’s dog in cold blood.

Shooting man’s best friend. Few things are more disgusting.

According to the neighbor, Yaritza Mendoza, Boebert killed her dog, Omega — a husky — because she thought he was “violent.”

Mendoza says the shooting took place in August, but she was afraid to come forward because Boebert is a member of Congress and has power the average American citizen doesn’t.

In a lengthy post on Facebook, Mendoza writes:

“I was scared of the arrogance that your head is filled with while you carry a gun. However, I am writing this now to let you know I am no longer scared of you.”

Be sure and note that Mendoza claims Boebert’s son “repeatedly” came onto her property to play with Omega, and was even welcomed into their home:

“We also welcomed him every single time: he even created a friendship with my younger cousins. You were aware of his actions yet never communicated with him to stop.”

Boebert denies the allegation, responding on Twitter:

That may well be true, but why would anyone believe a word that Lauren Boebert says? After all, she lies each and every day, be it on the floor of the House or Twitter. That’s the way Republicans are in the Age of Trump: They lie and then try to slag others when they get caught lying.

Maybe Boebert didn’t kill Omega. But ask yourself this question: Is she capable of such a heinous act?
