WATCH Jen Psaki Give Peter Doocy A Lesson On The Intolerance Of The ‘MAGA Crowd’

President Joe Biden has made it clear that he considers the hardcore “MAGA crowd” who support failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump a clear and present danger to American democracy.

The president noted:

“What happens if you have a state change the law saying that children who are LGBTQ can’t be in classrooms with other children?

“What are the next things that are going to be attacked? Because this MAGA crowd is really the most extreme political organization that’s existed in American history.”

That led Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy to ask White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki:

“What is he talking about?”

Pskai replied:

“Well, I think Peter, we’ve seen extreme laws that target LGBTQ families, their kids across the country, and I think what he’s saying is we don’t know what they’re capable of given what they’ve already done to date.”

Rather than understand the idea of a hypothetical, Doocy asked:

“Which state is trying to segregate LGBTQ children in the classroom?”

Psaki wasted no time giving Doocy a lesson in the disgusting intolerance that’s a major feature of the pro-Trump movement:

“I think we’ve seen laws that are incredibly discriminatory. That’s what the President’s referring to, and the fact that he doesn’t know what additional steps could be taken by extreme wings of the party that would rather divide, rather than work on issues that the American people actually are focused on actually impacting them.”

And here’s some more food for thought should Doocy need more enlightenment:

  • The Trump DOJ, under then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions said it was fine if employers fired transgender workers.
  • The Trump Justice Department also argued that it was legal to fire workers for being gay.
  • The Trump administration refused to investigate anti-transgender discrimination in public schools.

This country is stronger as a result of our diversity. For some reason, the MAGA morons cannot seem to grasp that, so they choose to hate, discriminate, and attack others.

Bizarre New Video Shows A Man Putting His Hand On Madison Cawthorn’s Crotch

There’s a line from a 1967 Buffalo Springfield song entitled “For What It’s Worth” that you may be familiar with:

“There’s something happening here. What it is ain’t exactly clear.”

And that line is certainly applicable to the latest scandal Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) finds himself in atop all the others that have been cropping up in recent weeks.

This time, we have a video of Cawthorn and a staffer, Business Insider reports:

“I feel the passion and desire, and would like to see a naked body beneath my hands,”  Cawthorn says in the video.

The man doing the filming then responds, saying, “Me too. I’d like to see that as well,” while turning the camera on himself. The comment causes Cawthorn to burst out laughing, and the other man then films himself putting his hand on the lawmaker’s groin.

Not bizarre enough? Well, in a complaint filed by David Wheeler, the president of the American Muckrakers PAC, there’s another explosive allegation:

(Wheeler) alleges in his complaint that Cawthorn and Smith are living together, and appended various screenshots bearing Cawthorn’s registered address in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and cross-referencing them with Smith’s registered address on FEC filings. 

A representative for the congressman called the video and other information “ridiculous,” adding:

“Stephen is his cousin — they’re family. The PAC that filed the complaint did no research.”

Cawthorn, meanwhile has been responding to the daily humiliations (including a photo of him dressed in women’s lingerie) by suggesting the entire thing is a giant conspiracy and smear campaign being lodged against him by his political enemies:

Oh, there’s also the matter of what appears to be deliberate stock manipulation by Cawthorn connected to a cryptocurrency purchase he made and urged others to invest in.

And let’s not forget that Cawthorn also accused his GOP colleagues of attending orgies where cocaine was in great abundance, along with many other sexual perversions, some of which now seem like psychological projection on the congressman’s part.

Whatever happens next for Cawthorn, it’s certainly nice to see karma kicking the shit out of someone so deserving.

WATCH Jamie Raskin Put Marjorie Taylor Greene On Full Blast For Being A ‘Cheerleader’ For Putin

Why is it that so many Republicans seem incapable of calling out Russian President/mass murderer Vladimir Putin for being a brutal and evil dictator whose military has committed numerous war crimes during their invasion of Ukraine?

It began with failed, one-term former President Donald Trump, who absolutely refused to say anything negative about Putin, leading some to suggest that the Russian leader had some sort of kompromat (i.e. damaging information) on the Donald.

Now, however, it seems that everywhere you look members of the GOP are making excuses for Putin and Russia, with Rand Paul even suggesting during a Senate hearing on Wednesday that talk of NATO expansion led to Russia invading Ukraine.

Also guilty of being a Putin apologist is Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who said this in March:

“If we truly care about suffering and death on our television screens, we cannot fund more of it by sending money and weaponry to fight a war they cannot possibly win! The only effect of more arms and more money from America will be to prolong the war!”

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) has clearly had enough, and he lit into Greene today during a floor debate on expanding President Joe Biden’s authority to arm Ukraine:

“All of these efforts to distract us from the issue at hand are meant to cover up the very clear pro-Russia and pro-Putin faction at the heart of their side of the aisle.

“Last month, in March of this year, the very distinguished gentlelady from Georgia on a radio show called The Voice of Rural America, and she followed Donald Trump’s sickening appeasement of Vladimir Putin and blamed Ukraine for the situation.”

But Congressman Raskin was far from finished, adding:

“She said, ‘You see, Ukraine just kept poking the bear, and poking the bear, which is Russia, and Russia invaded. There’s no win for Ukraine here. Russia is successful in this invasion.’

“We have members of Congress who are cheerleaders for Vladimir Putin and are voices of nothing but defeatism, fatalism, and pessimism for democracy in Europe, so they try to distract us with a lot of phony rhetoric about other issues.”

It needed to be said, and Jamie Raskin said it perfectly.

WATCH: Fragile, Sweaty Trump Storms Out Of Interview When Told The 2020 Election Wasn’t ‘Stolen’

There was a time when every Fox News reporter who interviewed failed, one-term former President Donald Trump made an effort to defer to him and indulge even his wildest conspiracy theories.

But those days are long gone, as soon becomes clear from excerpts of an interview Trump gave to Piers Morgan for the streaming service Fox Nation.

A clip of the interview was made public by The New York Post on Wednesday, and in it Morgan tells Trump the 2020 election was “free and fair” and reminds him, “You lost!”

In response, a sweaty, agitated Trump remarks:

“Only a fool would think that.”

Morgan asks, “You think I’m a fool?”

The twice-impeached, disgraced ex-president responds:

“I do now, yes.”

At the end of the clip, Trump ends the interview prematurely:

 “Turn the camera off. Very dishonest.”

The full interview will air on Monday, April 25.

Morgan said afterwards the person he interviewed was very different than the man he met years ago:

“Normally, he’d greet me with a cheery smile and the words, ‘How’s my champ?,’ because I was his first ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ on the series that made him a TV superstar. But this time, there were no such welcoming niceties. I’d never seen him so livid or felt so uncomfortable in his presence as I did right now in his office. He was almost foaming at the mouth and kept shaking his head slowly and menacingly at me, like Don Corleone when he felt he’d been disrespected.”

As you’d expect, the MAGA faithful were enraged by the clip, and they vented their impotent rage on Morgan.

Tucker Carlson’s ‘Homoerotic’ Promo For His New Documentary Is Beyond Bizarre

When you hear the name of Fox News host Tucker Carlson, what comes to mind?

For most, the image would probably be one of an ultraconservative, priggish know-it-all who seems to think the world would be better off if everything reverted to the way it was at the beginning of the 19th century.

So you can certainly understand why a promo video for Carlson’s new documentary, entitled “The End of Men,” has drawn so much debate on social media, with many suggesting that the Fox host is trying to tell us all something about himself that he doesn’t exactly think fits with his carefully-crafted image.

Uproxx explains the promo video this way:

In a preview of his forthcoming new season of “Tucker Carlson Originals,” the host promises to cover “one of the biggest stories of our lifetime,” namely “the total collapse of testosterone levels in American men.” What is he talking about? He’s almost certainly promising even more transphobia on the same station that recently hired Caitlyn Jenner. But the trailer for the doc also promises lots of shots of shirtless men with glistening six packs doing things like shooting guns, milking cows, and what appears to be tanning their testicles.

That trailer has caused a hell of a lot of debate on Twitter:

There were lots of jokes, addressing both its “homoerotic” overtones and its similarities to the work of Nazi filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl, whose film of the 1936 Berlin Olympics fetishizes the male form.

But perhaps the most obvious question is whether or not Carlson needs to sit his wife and kids down and have a conversation.
