Tucker Carlson’s Twitter Video Views Plummet As He Discovers Fox Is What Made Him A Star

After he was fired from Fox in the wake of a massive $787.5 settlement to settle a lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems, host Tucker Carlson announced that he would be doing weekly broadcasts on Twitter.

The first video from Carlson was a huge success, garnering 120 million views, which led some to suggest that “legacy media” was dying and totally irrelevant in the age of social media.

But subsequent episodes of Carlson’s Twitter broadcasts have not been nearly as successful, according to The Guardian, which reports that it appears Fox was exactly what made Carlson a star in the first place and continues to pursue legal actions against him for breach of the non-compete clause in his contract with them.

Fox has struggled to fill a hole in its primetime schedule as guest hosts try to replicate or replace Carlson’s blend of preppy ties and hard-right invective. But on Twitter, viewer numbers have fallen for Carlson too. Carlson’s most recent episode, on Hunter Biden’s plea deal on tax and gun charges, attracted fewer than 15m views.

From 120 million views to 15 million in a matter of weeks. That’s some major disinterest, and it suggests that Carlson and anyone else who tries to fight against the established news media model is facing a possibly intractable problem, according to Brian Stelter, the former host of CNN’s “Reliable Sources.” Fox has all the leverage while Carlson has none.

“I think it’s very clear that Fox would like to keep him off the air … for as long as they contractually can. That is not always how these things go. There’s often a compromise between network and talent. Instead of being benched for two years, he might accept one year. But I think from the tea-leaf reading, Fox wants him benched for the entire rest of the contract.”

“There’s a long history in TV news of anchors being put on the proverbial bench,” Stelter added. “It’s called pay or play. A network [doesn’t] have to play you, it can choose to just pay. [In Carlson’s case], they are paying him but they don’t have to play him.”

So where does that leave Carlson? Simply put, in a no-win situation with diminishing returns that fail to even help him get another position with any other networks as long as he’s still tied to Fox.

In other words, Tucker Carlson is quickly becoming irrelevant, and for a person who gets paid to broadcast their opinions, that’s the worst fate imaginable, though it’s certainly the one he deserves.

Photo Of Trump Looking ‘Drugged’ Sets Off A Wave Of Internet Chatter

Even though he continues to insist that he’s not the least bit worried about the dozens of federal felony counts filed against him by Justice Department Special Counsel Jack Smith that could potentially send him to prison for over 400 years, failed one-term president Donald Trump is already showing signs of the emotional and physical toll his legal problems are taking on him.

For example, a quick look at social media postings the disgraced ex-president made certainly suggest that he’s enraged and incredibly manic.

“Getting ready to head down to Doral in Miami. We must all be STRONG and DEFEAT the Communists, Marxists, and Radical Left Lunatics that are systematically destroying our Country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

“I HOPE THE ENTIRE COUNTRY IS WATCHING WHAT THE RADICAL LEFT LUNATICS ARE DOING TO AMERICA, AND ALL WE STAND FOR. WE ARE A NATION IN SERIOUS DECLINE, AND IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE. p.s. CHINA JUST, EFFECTIVELY, TOOK OVER CUBA. WOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED UNDER THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION!”

You can always tell when Trump is stressed: He tends to post in ALL-CAPS for emphasis, no doubt reflecting the agitated state of his mind, or at least what’s left of it.

And now we have a photo of the “stable genius” which seems to have been taken recently at his Mar-a-Lago golf resort, the very same place he was hiding those classified documents that got him indicted by the DOJ.

The photo was posted on Twitter by Ron Filipkowski.

What is up with those eyes?! He looks like he just smoked a joint and is so high that he has the munchies. The judge at his arraignment today may have him shipped to a detox facility so he can dry out.

There have been rumors for decades that Trump is fond of stimulants (especially amphetamines), and since he’s never released the test results from any of his physicals, it remains unknown if Donald is indulging in some extracurricular drug activity.

However, the photo did draw a sharp reaction on Twitter, where many suggested the former president may not make it to the 2024 election.

Social Media Calls BS On Fox Host’s Claim She Was Told To Leave A Restaurant For Praying Over Her Food

For years now, Fox “News” has suggested that there’s a war on Christians, Christianity, and the Christmas holiday, though the “proof” they usually supply to support such claims is tissue thin and downright laughable.

Such is the case with something Fox host Harris Faulkner said while hosting “Fox News Tonight” on Monday.

Faulkner told viewers, “For those of us who believe, we must be bold in our faith right now. When you gather in public spaces, pray thankfully over your food — even when the server gives you the stink eye or tells the manager that your peaceful grace is triggering them.”

She added, “I had it happen to me. I’ve been asked to leave a restaurant for openly bowing my head in prayer hands — in America. It’s all good. They don’t deserve my money anyway.”

Did that really happen? Hard to tell, especially since Fox is known to traffic in lies and conspiracy theories. That’s why they recently had to pay $787.5 million to Dominion Voting Systems for repeatedly lying about the 2020 election, which some of its hosts insisted was “stolen” from failed former president Donald Trump, despite there being no evidence to support such a claim.

Twitter users weren’t buying what Faulkner was selling.

Twitter Users Point And Laugh When Trump Shows Up With Hair Horns And A Bad Makeup Job

It’s so damn easy to make fun of failed one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump. Especially when he provides all the material needed to mock and ridicule him.

It’s also easy to make fun of Trump because he’s a walking dichotomy.

He’s ignorant but pompous. Vain but somewhat slovenly. Rich but with hints of pure white trashiness.

So when he showed up in Iowa as part of the 2024 race for the White House, it was a big media event. And therein lies the problem for Donald.

He probably wanted to look his best for the good people of Iowa, but he only managed to look like a complete fool.

That brings us to this video from Friday, which was shared on Twitter by Ron Filipkowski:

Be sure and notice (how could you not?!) the hair horns he’s sporting, along with the orange makeup, which looks like it was applied with a damn trowel. It’s downright embarrassing, and you’d think he’d be ashamed to show himself in public looking like a damn clown, but as we learned some time ago, the man has no shame and will do absolutely anything for attention because he’s a malignant narcissist.

Twitter certainly noticed, and the mockery was absolutely delicious.

Jim Jordan Gets Mocked For Telling DOJ To Turn Over Details Of Jack Smith’s Trump Investigation

As so often does, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) made a complete fool of himself today by demanding that the Justice Department share details of the ongoing investigation being conducted by Special Counsel Jack Smith into failed former president Donald Trump with him and the House Judiciary Committee, which he chairs.

According to The Federalist, Jordan sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland “demanding details about the extent of FBI involvement in a special counsel probe run by U.S. Attorney Jack Smith.”

Jordan’s letter also contained this: “The extent of the FBI’s bias and reckless disregard for truth, which Special Counsel John Durham laid out in painstaking detail, is nothing short of scandalous.”

Of course, that has zero to do with the investigation being conducted by Smith, and Jordan has absolutely no right to demand anything from Garland or the DOJ when it comes to an ongoing probe. No member of Congress has that power, no matter what committee he or she may chair.

And yet, Jordan made it sound as if he had the right to know everything regarding Smith, the FBI, and the Justice Department:

“Explain whether any FBI employees who have worked on Special Counsel Smith’s investigation previously worked on any other matters concerning President Trump, and explain whether Special Counsel Smith’s investigation relies on any information or material gathered exclusively by the FBI prior the Special Counsel’s appointment.”

In other words, Jordan knows that Smith is close to indicting Trump on multiple charges, including violating the Espionage Act and obstructing justice, and he wants to try and stick his nose into the investigation so the disgraced ex-president and his attorneys will know what to expect.

The Ohio Republican got a well-deserved mocking on Twitter:

Jordan won’t get a damn thing from Garland because DOJ policy is clear when it comes to ongoing investigations by the Justice Department: There will be no discussion of the matter, not even with Congress, until the investigation is completed.

Nice try, Gym, but once again you failed.
