Pete Buttigieg Only Needs 7 Words To School Lauren Boebert For One Of Her Moronic Tweets

All week long, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has been attacking Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, trying to blame every airport delay or train derailment on him and suggesting that he’s not qualified for the job he holds in the Biden administration.

 

Boebert posted a photoshopped picture of her putting out a fire in front of a derailed train with the message, “Out here preparing for Mayor Pete’s next derailment.”

Rather than stoop to Boebert’s level (which is the level of a multiple failure when it comes to passing the GED test), Buttigieg used seven words to school Boebert on who’s really to blame for train accidents: Her and her colleagues in the Republican caucus.

Secretary Buttigieg also laid some other painful knowledge on the Colorado dunce:

“We estimate its impact on FRA would mean about 1,000 fewer rail safety inspection days next year and 30,000 fewer miles of track inspected annually. If you care about preventing derailments, please change course and help us increase accountability for freight railroads.”

Of course, it’s highly unlikely that Boebert will understand a word of what Buttigieg told her on Twitter, but others on the platform had some choice words for the Colorado Republican.

Lauren Boebert’s Son A No-Show For Mandatory Court Appearance On Crash That Injured Passenger

Tyler Boebert, the eldest son of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was supposed to show up in court on Monday, April 10 for a mandatory court hearing regarding a September 2022 crash that left a friend hospitalized and resulted in a charge of “careless driving causing bodily harm.” That charge was later reduced to “defective vehicle for headlights” as part of a plea deal.

But Colorado news outlet Westword reports that Tyler Boebert didn’t appear in court and his mother was unaware that he failed to make an appearance.

In many cases, an arrest warrant is issued for a defendant who misses a court date. But that’s unlikely to happen in Tyler’s case. “The judge ordered the clerk to send a letter to the defendant with a stay of execution on the bench warrant,” says Clerk of Court Dawn Garey.

On April 11, the court updated its system to show that Tyler had called the clerk’s office to get his hearing rescheduled for April 24.

Noble D’Amato, the friend who was badly injured in the crash, said he doesn’t understand why Tyler failed to show up.

“Really, like what the fuck? What else are you doing? Like, go to your court date. I would try to be like, ‘Oh, shit, I should be on my best behavior.’ Not even best behavior — I’d just try and be responsible.”

D’Amato suffered multiple concussions and a badly lacerated hand during the accident.

A spokesperson for the congresswoman gave no response to why Tyler Boebert didn’t appear in court, instead attacking Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden:

“If you want to write a hit piece on a politician’s son, go after Hunter Biden,. Congresswoman Boebert’s children are not public figures, and they never sought to profit off of her public service. They are just trying to live their normal lives, and it would be nice if liberal reporters allowed them to do so. Meanwhile, Hunter Biden made $83,000 per month as a member of Burisma’s board, all in an effort for him to profit off of his dad’s position as Vice President.”

Tyler Boebert appears to have taken a page from his mother’s playbook when it comes to blowing off court appearances, Westword notes.

According to court records, Lauren Bobert has received a summons or been arrested at least four times in the past decade. A 2016 careless driving incident resulted in her being tossed in jail for approximately 100 minutes for failing to appear in court, according to the Denver Post.

In 2015, Boebert got hit with a disorderly conduct charge related to an incident at a music festival near Grand Junction, then missed her court date.

“I am now aware today is Friday,” she wrote on August 28, 2015, mere hours after she was supposed to be in court, the Post reported. A hearing was rescheduled for November 20 — but Boebert missed that one, too.

Boebert’s husband, Jayson, has also had serious legal issues in the past, exposing himself to underage girls in a bowling alley in 2004. He pled guilty to “public indecency and lewd exposure” and served four days in jail, along with two years of probation.

Lauren Boebert Tries To Quote The Declaration Of Independence And It Doesn’t Go Well

It’s not an exaggeration to say that Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is the dumbest member of Congress. After all, she had to take the GED high school equivalency exam multiple times before she finally managed to pass it.

On Tuesday, Boebert once again proved her stupidity during a discussion with right-wing agitator Charlie Kirk on his podcast.

The topic was guns and the Second Amendment, which led Kirk to comment, “So Lauren, we’re seeing the gun grabbers going into full gear. Let’s just play a couple pieces of tape here. Um, let’s go to, I haven’t even heard this one yet, Joe Scarborough.”

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough:

“They talk about a freedom that they’ve made up in their own twisted heads because they’ve been, they’ve been whipped into a paranoid frenzy by the NRA for 25 years. You know, now they’re claiming the Second Amendment protects things it just doesn’t protect.”

That led Kirk to ask the Colorado Republican, “Lauren, did we just invent this out of thin air because of a quote, ‘paranoid frenzy?’ Your response.”

Boebert replied:

“Right. This made-up freedom. Uh, I don’t think that defending, uh, one’s life is a made-up freedom. Um, it, it’s right there, um, in the preamble, we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, um, or personal property, whichever rendition or whatever version you want to, uh, go by. Um, but also this is an assault on cops are, are you kidding me?”

The right to personal property? That’s nowhere in the Declaration of Independence, which it seems Boebert was attempting (and failing) to quote.

Here are the “inalienable rights” cited in the preamble to the Declaration:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Twitter users gave Boebert an “F” for her version of the preamble.

Injured Man Says Lauren Boebert Tried To Cover Up Her Son’s Car Accident That Nearly Killed Him

Noble D’Amato is a 19-year-old resident of Colorado who suffered multiple concussions and badly lacerated hand during a car accident in September of last year. His hand was so badly cut that he can no longer hope to be a welder because of the injury.

“I still have problems with my hand,” D’Amato says“My thumb almost got cut off. It prevented me from getting a welding job, because I can’t hold a TIG torch anymore. I’m a personal-care provider now.”

Who was driving when D’Amato was injured? Tyler Boebert, the son of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), and now the congresswoman is accused of trying to cover-up her son’s faulty driving, according to a disturbing report from Denver news site Westword.com.

What happened to Tyler Boebert? Next to nothing. He was charged with “defective vehicle for headlights” and ordered to attend a court-ordered driving school.

D’Amato, it should be noted, was also charged with drug offenses as a result of the accident when police found police found unprescribed Xanax pills and a marijuana grinder at the scene of the accident.

Was Tyler Boebert charged with those same crimes? No. And yet the vehicle was his.

If you think this entire matter stinks to high heaven, you aren’t the only one.

Yet despite all of what’s happened to Noble D’Amato, he says the Boebert family has yet to say a word to him or take responsibility for the accident.

But according to D’Amato, the Boebert family has yet to take any real responsibility for the accident, with the congresswoman’s office issuing a statement which reads:

“The injury reported was superficial at best and was addressed by medical professionals out of caution. The incident involved two minors.”

D’Amato calls the statement “bullshit” and is accusing the congresswoman of trying to cover up the entire matter.

“She’s never liked me,” D’Amato says. “But that doesn’t give them the right to try and hide the fact that I was injured. They just don’t give a fuck. It’s the entire family.”

D’Amato says he doesn’t plan to take legal action against the Boebert’s, but does recall the terror of the accident, and he blames reckless driving on Tyler Boebert’s part.

Boebert was “stone cold sober” but “was driving so f–king fast.”

“I remember waking up with blood pouring out of my hand,” he recalled. “I had put my hands up in the air to protect myself and got messed up really bad by the window or something. I was just glad to be alive.”

“Harm was definitely done. But like I said, if it were up to [Tyler] fully — and he didn’t have his mom affecting his mind so aggressively — he’d take responsibility and not act like it wasn’t a big deal. But he’s the son of Lauren Boebert. If I did what he did, I’d still be in jail.”

Lauren Boebert Says The Second Amendment Is Absolute Because ‘We’re Not A Democracy!’

With increasing calls for stronger gun safety legislation being heard across the country, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) said Wednesday that the Second Amendment to the Constitution is absolute and new laws can’t be enacted because “we’re not a democracy.”

Boebert’s remarks came in response to comments made by Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers, who said at a meeting of the teacher’s union:

“Today, we renew our call for common sense gun safety legislation, including a ban on assault weapons. This is an epidemic.

“It’s an epidemic that our great nation must solve. And how many lives will be shattered before we have the courage to do what Scotland did, what Australia did, what New Zealand did, what other great democracies do? We must solve this epidemic, and that’s up to us.”

Scotland, Australia, and New Zealand all banned guns in the wake of mass shootings.

That led right-wing host Charlie Kirk to tell Boebert that what Weingarten was proposing is an appeal of the Second Amendment. Boebert agreed, noting:

“And, you know, maybe one of the things that we need to address with the Democrat party is, you played a clip from the teachers union with Randi there talking Maybe one thing we need to address is we’re not a democracy! So quit with that!

“Maybe that’s where you’re getting it wrong,. It’s saying that we are a democracy. We are a constitutional republic.”

Boebert then added this bit of dreck:

“And that is something that needs to be taught in our schools, not this woke critical race theory on how to hate our country and hate your fellow classmates and community members because of the color of their skin. Maybe teach a little honor and respect for our history and the correct history, rather than all this woke nonsense that produces the Ilhan Omars of the world.”

Of course, if Lauren had bothered to actually pay attention in the GED classes she struggled so mightily with, she’d know that the United States is a representative democracy.
