Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) got caught sharing a fake video which purported to show President Joe Biden falling asleep during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.
Greene used her sharing of the video to call for Biden to be removed from office:

But as CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale noted, the video is completely bogus and comes from site that is well-known for sharing misinformation to support their right-wing agenda:

It could not be more clear that at no point did the president doze off. He reacts to what is being said and his eyes are open throughout.
The blatant lie from Boebert and Greene shouldn’t surprise anyone. It’s their trademark. They lie about everything and both are far too lazy and ignorant to do some research on the internet before they make asses of themselves by sharing bullshit.

Even though former President Donald Trump was in favor of a full withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan and sent then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to meet with members of the Taliban in Doha, Qatar in November of last year, most Republicans in Congress have been vocal in their criticism of the fact that President Joe Biden has done exactly what his predecessor planned to do.
But perhaps the most disgusting remarks about what’s taking place in Afghanistan came from Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), who seems to think it’s funny that some Afghans died as they attempted to climb aboard an American military plane as it took off. Several of them fell off the plane and were killed, Newsweek reports:
“Locals near Kabul airport claim that three young men who were holding themselves tightly in the tires of an airplane fell on top of people’s houses. One of the locals confirmed this and said that the fall of these people made a loud and terrifying noise.”
Perhaps this shouldn’t surprise us. After all, this is the same Lauren Boebert who recently compared herself to Moses while speaking at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit and bragged that she was fighting against communism on God’s behalf.
But despite her close connection with the Almighty, most people were not pleased by her tasteless tweet about people dying in Afghanistan:

Who ran a campaign in 2016 to get out of Afghanistan immediately and then…. did nothing until he could dump the fallout on the next guy?
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) thought she’d try to explain her thoughts on the COVID-19 vaccine, vaccine mandates, protective masks, and the rights of individuals as laid out in the U.S. Constitution, but only succeeded in proving her complete ignorance of the law and how pandemics are controlled.
In an op-ed she wrote Fox News that was published on the network’s website, Boebert argued that vaccinations were a matter of personal choice and masking mandates are what she called “anti-American bullcrap.”
“For those that want the vaccine and believe it works, take it and don’t be so concerned about those who made the decision not to. For those choosing not to, make sure it is an informed decision with your doctor.
“For those deemed most at-risk, please seek medical advice from a doctor on how best to protect yourself. That does not mean forcing the rest of us from living our lives, shutting down our businesses, closing our schools or forcing us to wear masks and stripping away our right to health care privacy.”
Of course, the more people who refuse to get the vaccine, the less chance we’ll all have to live our lives and move forward to herd immunity, but the congresswoman conveniently neglected to mention that.
Proving that she only cares about herself and no one else, Boebert quickly shifted the focus of the op-ed to herself:
“So far, my family and I have personally experienced all of that and think it is anti-American bullcrap.
“They started by giving us good advice to wash our hands, avoid touching our faces and keep distanced from those that were sick for a couple of weeks.”
What’s really bullcrap is putting yourself above others and refusing to do what you can to help control a public health crisis that has so far killed over 615,000 Americans and is once again filling up hospitals with new patients who are infected and near death.
Boebert was quickly hit with backlash, with many readers telling her she clearly has no idea what the Constitution actually says.

No the US government cannot hold you down and force you to be vaccinated but they can set mandates that dictate who can do what we can do what based upon their vaccination status.
So, what exactly is your plan to reduce COVID cases in the US. If you choose to endanger others by not getting a vaccine or wearing a mask, you should choose to stay home. The choices you make come with responsibilities.
Let everyone who chooses to not get vaccinated and not wear a mask to also agree to not burden our health care professionals and hospitals. Seems only fair. You know that whole “when it’s my time to go” thing.
According to Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), she’s a lot like Moses from the Bible because God has given her “perseverance” over communism.
Speaking Sunday at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit (a.k.a the Trump/Hitler Youth Brigade), Boebert said proof of God’s blessing is the fact that her restaurant, Shooters Grill, is still open:
“I put my faith and trust in God and I said if I commit my actions to the Lord, my plans will be successful. And now Shooters Grill has been open for eight years.”
Oh, and Boebert also proudly declared that despite her endless self-promotion, what she does isn’t the least bit about her or her massive ego:
“And this has never been about me. This is about liberty, this is about freedom, the American dream. This is about you. And that’s why this movement is not slowing down. And that right there is where boldness becomes perseverance.”
Is it the same “movement” that helped failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump lose by over 7 million votes? If so, the so-called “movement” may want to rethink its place in the political world.
The reason she is able to persevere in Congress, Boebert told attendees, is because God is involved in every decision she makes:
“When I have a bold idea, I am able to persevere because that idea is usually bigger than me. And I know if it’s bigger than me, God has to be involved!”
When was the last time Boebert had a bold idea other than shooting off her mouth and proving her own massive ignorance and bigotry? And no idea of hers will ever be big because it came from her incredibly small brain.
That’s when she made the comparison to Moses, which should have been enough to at least get a loud rumble of angry thunder from the heavens:
“Right after God said that to Moses, he said, why are you crying out to me, tell the people [to] go forward with what is in your hand
“So I’m telling you all now, be bold, persevere, and go forward with what is in your hand right now.”
What did Boebert have in her hand when she said that? A microphone, her favorite weapon of self-aggrandizement and grifting. She’s a typical Republican: In it for herself, and to hell with everyone else.
Before she left the stage, the Colorado congresswoman let the crowd know that her similarities to Moses have allowed her to “take on” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Cuban communists.
It’s a wonder Lauren didn’t slip and fall on some of that bullshit she left standing knee high on the stage from her verbal diarrhea.
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) may have cost Republicans any chance of winning the 2022 midterm elections, and she did it by saying out loud what many in the GOP have been dreaming about for decades.
Boebert decided she wanted to make a point about the federal government offering to help Americans, so she went full-tilt and said conservatives want to eliminate all federal benefits, telling attendees at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC):
“We’re here to tell government: ‘We don’t want your benefits. We don’t want your welfare. Don’t come to us with your Fauci ouchie. Leave us the hell alone!'”

The very idea of cutting Medicare and Social Security is considered to be the the proverbial “third rail” of American politics and has consistently proven to be political poison, especially for Republicans.
It’s especially ironic that Boebert would rail against welfare since she loves to brag that she was helped by federal and state programs:
I’m living the American dream. I came up from welfare, standing in line waiting for government cheese, to now running for Congress.
Let’s keep radical socialists out of government so that people can be empowered to lift themselves out of poverty, rather than wait on government!
Now that she’s getting her salary and benefits courtesy of American taxpayers, however, Ms. Boebert wants to leave the neediest among us high and dry. In other words, she’s a typical conservative: A hypocrite.
HuffPost notes that in recent years Republicans have chosen to shower the rich and big corporations with corporate welfare:
“Boebert’s party has no problem cranking up benefits for the wealthy. Under the Trump administration’s tax cut — pitched as a boon to the middle class — 60% of the benefits went to the richest 20% of Americans, with the largest cuts as a share of income going to the top 5%. Corporate taxes were slashed 40%.
“As for the Paycheck Protection Program during Donald Trump’s administration, most of the aid went to bigger companies, with just 5% of recipients scarfing up more than half of the $525 billion that went out the door.”
Boebert’s remarks were met with harsh reaction on social media:
