Lauren Boebert Gets Hit With A Lawsuit That Could Expose All Of Her Dirty Secrets

This has been the proverbial Week from Hell for Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO).

On Wednesday, a new poll showed that Boebert and her Democratic challenger, Adam Frisch, are statistically tied in the latest poll taken in the state, meaning that she could be facing losing her seat in Congress after just one term.

And now Boebert is being hit with a defamation lawsuit that threatens to expose all of the darkest secrets from her past, including some she has denied for years.

David Wheeler, co-plaintiff and president of the American Muckrakers PAC, has filed suit in a North Carolina court, alleging that statements he made about Boebert were indeed truthful and her attack on him constitutes defamation, according to the Smoky Mountain News.

In June, the PAC published scandalous allegations against Boebert, accusing the Christian conservative of formerly being an unregistered escort, and of having had two abortions — allegations, according to the lawsuit, that Wheeler and American Muckrakers believe to be true.

The four-count lawsuit alleges that Boebert told Hannity days later that there was no evidence to back up Wheeler’s claims, that the claims are false and that Wheeler knew the claims were false when he published them. Boebert also threatened legal action, called Wheeler a “hack” and blamed “radical Democrats” for an effort to remove her from office.

Wheeler alleges that the PAC suffered a 92% decrease in revenues after Boebert made her remarks, plummeting from “an average of $20,000 a month to around $3,800 a month.”

Now that the defamation suit has been filed, discovery could potentially open up all of Boebert’s life, including the accusations made by American Muckrakers. Even if none of them prove to be true, it could still expose Bobert to unwanted attention right as she’s trying to convince voters in her district to give her another term in office.

Trump’s Suing CNN For $475 Million – But The Network Is Already Getting The Last Laugh On Him

Proving for the millionth time that he’s one of the most ignorantly litigious human beings ever born, disgraced, one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump has filed suit against CNN on charges of defamation and is seeking $475 million in compensatory damages.

The suit, which was filed in a Florida federal court, reads in part:

CNN has sought to use its massive influence— purportedly as a “trusted” news source—to defame the Plaintiff in the minds of its viewers and readers for the purpose of defeating him politically, culminating in CNN claiming credit for “[getting] Trump out” in the 2020 presidential election. CNN’s campaign of dissuasion in the form of libel and slander against the Plaintiff has only escalated in recent months as CNN fears the Plaintiff will run for president in 2024. As a part of its concerted effort to tilt the political balance to the Left, CNN has tried to taint the Plaintiff with a series of ever-more scandalous, false, and defamatory labels of “racist,” “Russian lackey,” “insurrectionist,” and ultimately “Hitler.”

In July, the loser ex-president also threatened to sue other media outlets for supposedly defaming him, making his announcement in a letter released through his Save America PAC that he “will also be commencing actions against other media outlets who have defamed me and defrauded the public regarding the overwhelming evidence of fraud throughout the 2020 Election. I will never stop fighting for the truth and for the future of our Country!”

The suit is clearly little more than a publicity stunt and an attempt to change the subject from the multiple legal investigations that threaten to send Trump to prison for the remainder of his life.

Does CNN sound worried about being sued? As a matter of fact, they had the perfect response to Trump’s bluster when he first began making noises about lawsuits against media outlets, noting:

CNN has had the opportunity to review your letter of July 21, 2022, and to evaluate your demand to take down and retract the 34 articles and television segments you identify as defamatory, and to cease referring to representations made by former President Trump regarding the outcome of the 2020 presidential election as “lies.” We decline your request.

While we will address the merits of any lawsuit should one be filed, we note that you have not identified a single false or defamatory statement in your letter. It is well-established that the outcome of the 2020 presidential election was unaffected by fraud, as verified by the dismissal of no fewer than 50 lawsuits by judges across the United States asserting otherwise, the sanctioning of multiple attorneys for making unsubstantiated election-fraud claims, and investigations conducted by the Department of Justice, Congress, and various state and local bodies.

That’s how you flip off a blowhard like Donald Trump.

Donald Trump Jr. The Karma Is Gonna Get Ya

Court Loss For Donald Trump Jr. Could Wind Up Costing Him A Fortune

Donald Trump Jr. loves to run his mouth and toss around insults aimed at others. But a slur he used against a West Virginia Senate candidate is now one step closer to costing him a lot of money.

Remember the name Don Blankenship? He’s the former head of Massey Energy, which owns and operates coal mines in the Mountain State. He ran for the Republican nomination to be a U.S. Senator from West Virginia and had previously been convicted of conspiring to violate safety standards at the Upper Big Branch mine, which is a misdemeanor.

When someone mentioned on Twitter that Blankenship would face a tough race against incumbent Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin, Junior replied:

“He’s probably never run against a felon.”

Even though Don Jr. later deleted the tweet, the damage had been done, and Blankenship filed a lawsuit for defamation. Why? Because he’s not a felon. He was convicted of a misdemeanor. Granted, that’s slicing it thin, but the suit was filed.

Since then, attorneys for Don Jr. have been trying to have the defamation suit dismissed, but a judge ruled recently that the suit will move forward, according to Jan Wolfe of Reuters:

https://twitter.com/JanNWolfe/status/1433206259650646017?s=20

The defamation suit is still active and will proceed, according to the judge. That’s bad news for Junior because he could be facing a considerable financial judgment if he’s found guilty of having defamed Blankenship.

Of course, Junior and other members of his family are also facing criminal charges for their allegedly illegal actions regarding the Trump Organization, including possibly being indicted for tax fraud and other financial crimes.

It was a bad day for Donald Trump Jr. And it appears he’s facing many more bad days in the months ahead.
