Adam Kinzinger: ‘A Lot’ Of New Witnesses Have Come Forward Since Cassidy Hutchinson Testified

According to January 6 House Select Committee member Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), new witnesses have come forward since ex-Trump administration aide Cassidy Hutchinson testified on Tuesday.

Appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Kinzinger told host Dana Bash:

“I don’t want to get into who or any of those details. She’s been inspiring for a lot of people. This happens every day. Every day we get new people that come forward and say, ‘Hey, I didn’t think that maybe this piece of the story that I knew was important, but now that you guys — I do see this plays in here.'”

The Illinois Republican also said that Hutchinson would “go down in history” for her testimony before the committee:

“She doesn’t want to be out in the public spotlight but she has a commitment to truth that somebody like [South Dakota Gov.] Kristi Noem for instance and most people in our party would actually benefit to take just a 10% ounce of.”

Indeed, Noem embarrassed herself with the things she told Bash, hatefully declaring:

“It’s been difficult to really believe everything she has said. She says she’s telling the truth, but much of it was hearsay and much of it other people have refuted now.”

Asked if she thought failed, one-term former president Donald Trump bears any responsibility for what happened on Jan. 6, Noem replied:

“I think January 6th was a horrific day in our history. I never want to see that happen again. I think moving forward that we’ve got to have a time in our country where we are all start talking to each other again. Where we start having conversations. We get much better policy — I talk about this in my book, Dana — where I talk about the fact that we’ve become a country so offended by each other that we quit talking to each other. It’s hurting public debate that we have to have different perspectives around the table to have an open conversation, and we’ll end up with much better policy, better laws if we can take the emotion and anger and bitterness out of our conversation, and really talk about what is best for our country and where we can agree and move forward.”

Adam Kinzinger Has The Perfect Comeback When Lindsey Graham Suggests A January 6 Witness Lied

Ever since former Trump administration official Cassidy Hutchinson testified for nearly two hours before the January 6 House Select Committee, Republicans (including failed, one-term former president Donald Trump) have been desperately trying to undercut what she said, but the vast majority of them have been fact-free screeds that only serve to reinforce the belief that both Trump and the GOP know the hearings are incredibly damaging.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is the latest to take a shot at attacking Hutchinson, tweeting out this:

“Apparently Ms. Hutchinson testified numerous times for multiple hours about what she knew about the events leading up to January 6 and its aftermath.

“In her previous testimony did she mention the dramatic events described today?”

“If so, her previous testimony should be released.

“If not, why not?”

What Graham conveniently neglected to mention is that Hutchinson was previously represented by a Trump-allied attorney. She fired that counselor and now has one who is actually working on her behalf instead of trying to protect Donald and his minions from what she witnessed during her time as a member of the West Wing staff.

Jan. 6 committee member Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) wasted no time taking Lindsey down a notch, firing back with a tweet of his own that also serves as a warning to Graham and anyone else who might try to stand in the way of the committee’s work.

“You are willing to go down with the ship? Man up Lindsey.”

Lindsey doesn’t have all the facts that Kinzinger and others on the committee are privy to. And Kinzinger is also making it clear to the senator that if he continues to defend the indefensible actions of Trump and others who were part of the failed coup attempt, he’s also likely to be destroyed.

Graham has yet to respond to Kinzinger’s tweet, and if he has a single brain cell left in his otherwise empty head, he won’t.

Adam Kinzinger Puts Trump On Full Blast: ‘The Most Soft Coddled Person I’ve Ever Met’

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) is one Republican who isn’t afraid to speak his mind when it comes to failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump, and he’s making sure he lets everyone know exactly what he thinks about the whiny ex-POTUS.

On Saturday, Kinzinger fired off a tweet that’s certain to hit a nerve with Trump, who loves to pretend that he’s a tough guy despite the fact that he’s nothing more than a spoiled baby who inherited wealth from his father (and then proceeded to lose most of it), has never done an honest day’s work in his life, and looks like a human version of Wimpy from the old “Popeye” cartoon, minus the mustache and hat.

“It’s amazing when you think about it: Trump is obsessed with this idea of manliness, and he is the most soft coddled person I’ve met. Not kidding. BUT This has to drive him crazy: Vladimir Zelensky at 5’7” is three times the man both he and @CawthornforNC are combined.”

To borrow a phrase you often see on social media, No lies detected.

If Trump is “manly,” then that would make Zelensky the Incredible Hulk, because that guy is willing to stand up to Putin and taunt the entire Russian military to their face.

Trump, on the other hand, hid in the White House bunker when there was rioting in Washington, D.C., repeatedly kowtowed to Putin, and was even terrified of a bald eagle:

After Kinzinger posted his tweet, others decided to join the debate, and they also had some thoughts on how un-manly the Donald is.

Adam Kinzinger Destroys ‘Con Artist’ Josh Hawley – ‘One Of The Worst Human Beings’

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) — who will go down in history as one of the few Republicans in the Age of Trump who possessed both a brain and a spine — has had more than enough of Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), and he’s making it clear that he intends to keep calling Hawley out for his boneheaded actions and utterances.

Mediaite reports that Kinzinger was appalled by a report that Hawley wants the Biden administration to drop its support for Ukraine to join NATO, which just so happens to be the very same position that has been expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin:

Axios, which broke the news, noted that “Hawley is staking out a position increasingly supported by the Republican base but historically at odds with the mainstream GOP consensus still backed by his Senate colleagues.”

That led Kinzinger to post this on Twitter:

“I hate to be so personal, but Hawley is one of the worst human beings, and a self egrandizing [sic] con artist.

“When Trump goes down I certainly hope this evil will be layed [sic] in the open for all to see, and be ashamed of.”

So what exactly is Hawley’s position on Ukraine and the fact that Russia is massing troops on its border? Typical GOP double-talk, with Axios noting:

“Hawley said he supports sending assistance that Ukraine needs to defend itself, but contends that the U.S. interest “is not so strong” to warrant going to war with Russia.”

Do you suppose Hawley would feel differently if Ukraine had oil or his lord and master Donald Trump suddenly said the U.S. should support the Ukrainians and be willing to go to war with Putin? Considering how fervently Hawley worships both the Donald and Putin, he’d probably be torn and have to bow to the wishes of his orange savior. Then again, Putin probably pays a lot better than the notoriously chintzy Trump.

Adam Kinzinger Burns Rubio Down For Minimizing The Gravity Of Jan. 6: ‘What Happened To You, Man?’

For the past two days, many Republicans have been trying to pretend the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol was just a minor event which should be forgotten. Of course, they feel that way largely because they aren’t willing to blame failed, one-term former President Donald Trump and some of their fellow GOP members of Congress for their role in the attack which left five people dead.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) was one of those Republicans who tried to minimize the gravity of what took place a year ago at the Capitol, posting this on Twitter:

Upscale liberals? What in the hell does that even mean? Is that code for something more noxious that Rubio is trying to get across to the extreme right-wing of his party, which has now taken complete control of the GOP?

January 6 was in many ways even worse than Pearl Harbor or 9/11 because it was committed by our fellow Americans. And it proves that the biggest threat we now face in this country is the enemy within. They have sworn allegiance to one man and are willing to destroy the United States out of blind, fanatical loyalty to Donald Trump.

Fortunately, there are a few rational Republicans left in the United States, and one of them, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), a member of the House Select Committee on Jan. 6, took Rubio to task for his tweet:

Problem is, Rubio isn’t better than this. He may have pretended to be at one time, but those days are long gone. Now he’s just another delusional lemming trying to curry favor with the MAGA faithful. Oh, and Marco is also running for reelection in November, so he has to make sure his right flank is protected.

People like Adam Kinzinger should be cheered for their moral clarity and willingness to speak out against the lies they see taking control of their party.

Marco Rubio, on the other hand, needs to be run out of town on a rail and relegated to the ash heap of history.
