WATCH: Reporters Howl With Laughter As Press Secy. Mocks 2024 Biden Rival Marianne Williamson

In case you missed the announcement over the weekend, Marianne Williamson (who?!) said that she will once again seek the Democratic presidential nomination after getting humiliated by her poor showing in the 2020 Democratic race for the White House.

Williamson, a former “spiritual adviser” to Oprah Winfrey (how’s that for credentials?) had this to say when she announced her candidacy:

“There are people in this town who have the solutions. There are people all over this country who have the solutions, but the people who are in power do not have the solutions or do not deeply support the solutions and people who do have the solutions do not have the power. Once again, let the people get in there, we’ll handle it from here.”

That led members of the White House Press corps to ask press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre if the administration was upset Williamson decided to run instead of giving President Joe Biden a clear field in 2024.

Jean-Pierre’s response was so brilliantly snarky and mocking that just reading it may make you laugh.

“We’re just not tracking that. If I had a, what’s it called? A little globe here, a crystal ball, then I can tell you, a Magic 8 Ball, whatever. If I could feel her aura, I just don’t have anything to share on that.”

That sent the White House press corps into hysterics. There was loud laughter in the briefing room that Williamson probably heard all the way to her home in Beverly Hills.

Williamson also noted during her announcement that she understands no one thinks she has a chance in hell of winning.

“I have run for president before. I am not naïve about these forces which have no intention of allowing anyone into this conversation who does not align with their predetermined agenda,” she said. “I understand that, in their mind, only people who previously have been entrenched in the car that brought us into this ditch can possibly be considered qualified to bring us out of it.”

CPAC Straw Poll Contains A ‘Horrible Result’ For Donald Trump: GOP Strategist

A straw poll taken at the end of the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) conference may have appeared to be good news for disgraced one-term former president Donald Trump, but a GOP strategist said Sunday the poll actually contains a “horrible result” for the failed ex-president.

Trump gave the keynote address at CPAC on Sunday and garnered 62% worth of support in the straw poll, but that should concern him, according to Republican strategist Susan Del Percio.

During an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Alex Witt Show,” Del Percio was asked by the host:

“Do you sense this is a party that is ready to move on? What lies ahead for Republicans who want to challenge Trump?”

Del Percio replied:

“Sixty-two percent of CPAC in a straw poll it is a horrible result for Donald Trump. I mean this has been dubbed TPAC; this is Donald Trump’s show, and you can only get 62% of his own people.”

“That is not to say his power over the party is there,” she added. “I read something very interesting in I believe it was Politico or Axios over the weekend. Donald Trump met with the state Republican leadership of Nevada recently at Mar-a-Lago. Donald Trump is playing the campaign strategy that all he needs to do is get 35 percent and beat everyone else and it is winner take all.”

Del Percio concluded her comments by noting, “He still does have that grip and if the other thing that stuck out to me is listening to Governor [Chris] Sununu and Nikki Haley, they come from two different ideas of what the new generation is and I am afraid that Nikki Haley’s new generation of leadership, which is a new generation of hate, as you just showed, is where the party currently is.”

Trump is also facing the prospect of being indicted in multiple jurisdictions, and while he vows not to drop out of the 2024 race if he’s charged with crimes, his poll numbers will likely take a major hit if he is.

Historian Michael Beschloss Calls Trump A ‘Cockroach’ Who Is Unfit To Run In 2024

Historian Michael Beschloss said Saturday on MSNBC that failed one-term former president Donald Trump is completely unfit to run for the White House in the 2024 election.

Speaking with guest host Michael Steele, Beschloss was asked about the legal landmines that await the disgraced ex-president, to which the noted presidential historian responded:

“Now we haven’t ever seen a president potentially indicted like this, and maybe dealing with serious multiple indictments from various places, various judicial agencies. That’s something we haven’t seen before.”

Beschloss then compared Trump to a cockroach:

“Even Donald Trump, who has the survival abilities of a cockroach, I’m not sure if he can withstand if he is potentially indicted, and we don’t know that this is gonna happen.”

Asked to elaborate, Beschloss continued:

“But let’s say in three different venues, at the same time, you know, that’s a lot to ask of anyone — especially someone in his late 70s, and may not be the most physically fit person at that age that I’ve ever seen.”

Desperate Trump Now Promising ‘Freedom Cities’ And Flying Cars If He’s Elected In 2024

In the surest sign yet that failed one-term former president Donald Trump knows his bid for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination is stuck in neutral, the disgraced ex-head of state is now promising that he will give Americans “freedom cities” filled with flying cars if they put him back in the White House.

Politico reports that Trump is going full Jetsons and trying to paint himself as the candidate of the future.


Trump’s plan, shared in advance with POLITICO, calls for holding a contest to design and create up to ten new “Freedom Cities,” built from the ground up on federal land. It proposes an investment in the development of vertical-takeoff-and-landing vehicles; the creation of “hives of industry” sparked by cutting off imports from China; and a population surge sparked by “baby bonuses” to encourage would-be-parents to get on with procreation. It is all, his team says, part of a larger nationwide beautification campaign meant to inspire forward-looking visions of America’s future.

In the video, Trump proclaims:

“Past generations of Americans pursued big dreams and daring projects that once seemed absolutely impossible. They pushed across an unsettled continent and built new cities in the wild frontier. They transformed American life with the interstate highway system—magnificent it was. And they launched a vast network of satellites into orbit all around the earth.

“But today, our country has lost its boldness. Under my leadership, we will get it back in a very big way. If you look at just three years ago, what we were doing was unthinkable, how good it was, how great it was for our country. Our objective will be a quantum leap in the American standard of living,.”

Actually, three years ago the country was mired in a pandemic which the loser ex-president tried to suggest was no big deal and would disappear as soon as temperatures rose in the spring and summer.

So, to sum up:

  • Trump will build new cities that will feature shopping centers devoid of goods since China will no longer be allowed to export the Trump States of America. And there won’t be any flying cars, either, because those will be made better and cheaper in China, but no one in this country will be allowed to buy them.
  • A “baby bonus” is also a wrongheaded policy initiative because the world is already severely overpopulated and global warming threatens to leave the globe devoid of life entirely.

Despite those facts, the MAGA faithful will probably hail Trump’s ideas as brilliant and demand he be reappointed to the presidency even if he loses again in the 2024 election.

Some In GOP Secretly Hoping Trump Will ‘Have A Heart Attack On A Golf Course’ Before 2024 Election: Report

If you thought Republicans are excited that Donald Trump may be their nominee once again in 2024, a report from Politico makes clear that there are more than a few in the GOP who would welcome the failed former president making an early exit via a massive heart attack.

And yet, Trump remains the single largest factor among Republicans, with polls showing that he could even siphon off nearly 30% of GOP voters if he loses the 2024 nomination and runs as an independent.

“Despite his difficulties since he left office, about a third of Republicans and Republican-leaning voters still consider themselves supporters more of Trump than the Republican Party, according to a recent NBC News poll. Many of them aren’t going anywhere. Fully 28 percent of Republican primary voters are so devoted to the former president that they said they’d support him even if he ran as an independent, according to a national survey last month from The Bulwark and longtime Republican pollster Whit Ayres. Indeed, the ‘Always Trump’ component of the party is so pronounced that it’s affecting how Trump’s opponents operate around him.”

Damned if they do and damned if they don’t, to borrow a well-known phrase, which is causing GOP insiders to silently pray that Donald’s heart will stop beating.

Fergus Cullen, the former chair of the New Hampshire Republican Party, had this to say about the whispering taking place among some in the GOP:

“All these folks are just hoping that Trump’s going to have a heart attack on a golf course one day, and that’s going to solve the problem for them. Not much of a strategy.”

It certainly isn’t, though it could well happen given that Trump has recently looked heavier than ever and sweats like a hog when he so much as walks a few steps:

No matter what happens between now and 2024, one thing seems certain: Donald Trump will remain a drag on the GOP and could wind up dooming their chances no matter what happens to him in the months ahead.
