There are people in this world who are simply too damn stupid to be allowed on social media, let alone out in public, and yet it seems Republicans keep electing these brain dead simpletons to office.
Today’s example comes from Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), who seems to believe that if you died from COVID and happened to be on Medicare, that proves Medicare for all would kill hundreds of millions of Americans.
Here’s the Tweet Massie sent out:
Holy shit! That’s so damn stupid it makes my teeth hurt.
While it’s true the majority (75%) of Americans who died of COVID were elderly (and therefore on Medicare), Medicare isn’t what led to their deaths. And yet that’s what Congressman Massie wants us to believe.
In all fairness, the people who would vote for a moron like Thomas Massie are probably stupid enough to take his absurd tweet at face value and nod their heads in agreement. After all, they elected this jackass!
It didn’t take long for internet karma to catch up with the congressman:
