Jake Tapper Asks Mike Pence: Did You Betray Your Faith By Defending Trump’s ‘Ungodly’ Actions?

CNN host Jake Tapper confronted former vice president Mike Pence on Sunday, asking if he thought he betrayed his faith with his willingness to defend and justify the actions of his ex-boss, Donald Trump.

Quoting comments from Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), who told the Atlantic he didn’t understand how Pence could excuse the things Trump did and said, Tapper asked:

“The profile appeared in the Atlantic where Republican Senator Mitt Romney is quoted saying that when it comes to your actions as Donald Trump’s vice president nobody had been quote ‘More willing to smile when he saw absurdities, more willing to ascribe God’s will to things that were ungodly than Mike Pence,’ unquote.”

“What do you say to that, do you think you used your faith to justify ungodly things as vice president, as Mitt Romney believes?”

Clearly perturbed by Romney’s remarks, Pence replied:

“Look, Mitt Romney has no idea what I was doing in the administration,” Pence said. “I haven’t talked to Mitt Romney for years.”

“And I think he can go off into retirement,” he continued. “He’s even critical of his old running mate Paul Ryan in the pages of that book. So I know the stands that we took, I know the stands that we maintained and I’ll always believe that we were called to that fight.”

What “fight” were Trump and Pence called to? The one that resulted in appointing Supreme Court justices who have decided American women don’t have a right to make their own reproductive choices?

Or was the fight to cut taxes for the richest Americans, who, according to Pence’s Bible, have an almost impossible path to heaven?

Or could the real fight be Trump and Pence’s sick desire for power at any cost, no matter how many have to suffer?

Mike Pence is a fake Christian who deserves to spend eternity in the hell he’s so afraid of.

Donald Trump Ivanka Trump The Trump Adminstration WTF?!

Former Staffer: Donald Trump Often Fantasized About Having Sex With Ivanka

According to a former top administration official who had regular access to failed one-term, twice-impeached ex-president Donald Trump, sexual comments about female staffers and even the ex-president’s daughter, Ivanka, were common in the Trump administration, which led to a hostile work environment that made many inside the White House uncomfortable.

Miles Taylor, who served as chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security, has written a book entitled Blowback: A Warning to Save Democracy from the Next Trump, and in he reveals that the former president was constantly making inappropriate comments, according to Newsweek.

These incidents included, the book says, claims by aides that Trump made lewd comments about his daughter Ivanka’s appearance and talked about “what it might be like to have sex with her.” This prompted a rebuke from his chief of staff, the book says.

“There still are quite a few female leaders from the Trump administration who have held their tongues about the unequal treatment they faced in the administration at best, and the absolute naked sexism they experienced with the hands of Donald Trump at worst,” Taylor explained.

Taylor said he immediately noticed Trump’s disgusting behavior and comments when he was briefing the then-president.

He recalls witnessing such behavior first-hand in meetings with Trump and Kirstjen Nielsen, who was secretary of homeland security from 2017 to 2019.

“When we were with him, Kirstjen did her best to ignore the president’s inappropriate behavior,” Taylor writes in his book. “He called her ‘sweetie’ and ‘honey,’ and critiqued her makeup and outfits.”

After a crass comment from Trump, he recalls Nielsen whispering to him: “Trust me, this is not a healthy workplace for women.” Nielsen has been contacted for comment.

But the worst of Trump’s remarks were about Ivanka, Taylor writes.

“Aides said he talked about Ivanka Trump’s breasts, her backside, and what it might be like to have sex with her, remarks that once led John Kelly to remind the president that Ivanka was his daughter.
“Afterward, Kelly retold that story to me in visible disgust. Trump, he said, was ‘a very, very evil man.'”

The bottom line for voters, Taylor notes, is that they need to know the sort of man they might put in White House a second time, which would be a disaster.

“He’s a pervert, he’s difficult to deal with. This is still the same man and, incredibly, we’re considering electing him to the presidency again.”

Trump has said inappropriate things about Ivanka in the past.

During a joint appearance with her on “The View” in 2006, he commented, “If Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her. Isn’t that terrible? How terrible? Is that terrible?”

And in 2015, Trump told Rolling Stone, “She’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father…”

Donald Trump belongs behind prison bars for whatever is left of his life. Not just for the crimes that have led to indictments, but also for being a disgusting sexist and misogynist who thinks it’s cool to lust after his own daughter.

Trump: I Was Too Busy Protecting The World From ‘Nuclear Holocaust’ To Have Committed Any Crimes

As he continues to look for ways to avoid spending the remainder of his life behind in a federal or state prison, failed former president Donald Trump is coming up with even more absurd excuses for why he couldn’t have possibly committed any of the crimes he’s accused of being a part of.

Thanks to the release of a deposition in a court filing from New York Attorney General Letitia James, we have the Donald’s latest head shaking bullshit: He was far too busy trying to save the planet from “nuclear holocaust” to have been involved in any criming that might have taken place at his company, the Trump Organization.

Business Insider reports:

In a sworn deposition from this past April, former President Donald Trump told New York officials that he was too busy “saving millions of lives” as president to run his company, let alone commit business fraud, a transcript released Wednesday revealed.

Here’s an exchange between Trump and Kevin Wallace, an attorney working for the New York AG.

Wallace: “So you were too busy for the company?”

Trump: “In a way, yeah. Yeah, I think you can say it. It’s another way of saying it. I was very busy. I was — I considered this the most important job in the world, saving millions of lives.”

The disgraced ex-president then added:

“I think you would have nuclear holocaust if I didn’t deal with North Korea. I think you would have a nuclear war, if I weren’t elected.
“And I think you might have a nuclear war now if you want to know the truth.”

James has accused Trump of grossly misstating the value of his company in order to obtain larger bank loans, reduce his insurance premiums, and avoid paying increased tax bills on his properties. She is now seeking a $250 million summary judgement that would likely destroy the Trump Organization, which is believed to be dangerously low on cash.

The filing from James also alleges that in 2014, the Trump Organization overvalued its net worth by at least $2.3 billion, which means the company committed fraud.

It remains to be seen if any judge or jury will buy Trump’s bullshit excuses.

Report Exposes The Extent Of Ivanka’s Corruption While Her Father Was POTUS

Even though she had absolutely zero experience when it came to government service, for four years Ivanka Trump was given unlimited access to the Oval Office and was reportedly one of her father’s most trusted advisers, which could help explain why Donald Trump was such a massive failure as president.

According to the New York Times, Ivanka was charged with overhauling programs that assisted small businesses run by women around the world, but the program “was so haphazardly managed by a federal agency that an independent watchdog was unable to determine whether it actually worked.

“In a report released on Thursday, the Government Accountability Office found that programs funded through the Women’s Entrepreneurship and Economic Empowerment Act, which Ms. Trump, the eldest daughter of former President Donald J. Trump, helped usher through Congress in late 2018, were deeply flawed and hampered by poor oversight.

“Officials at the U.S. Agency for International Development, which oversaw $265 million per year in spending on the initiative and an associated antipoverty program, never worked out “an explicit definition” of who was eligible to receive millions in aid, the report found.”

And yet, Republicans like to say that Ivanka was doing great things for women. Clearly, she wasn’t. Instead, she was using taxpayer money to fund a program that we cannot even measure the success or failure of. That’s the very definition of corruption.

The G.A.O. report also found that while Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel hailed Ivanka by claiming her efforts would “empower women all over the world,” the reality was far from what had been promised:

“Investigators, who interviewed agency workers in Africa, Asia, South America and Europe, reported that those workers ‘did not receive any guidance’ from top officials on how to define ‘the very poor,’ hampering efforts to deliver aid.”

Just like her father, Ivanka Trump isn’t good at anything other than lying and cheating. She’s a grifter and she wasted taxpayer money so she could pretend to be “governmenting.”

‘Unprecedented Fraud’: NY Attorney General Says Trump Inflated His Net Worth By $2.2 BILLION!

In what is being called an “unprecedented” case of massive financial fraud, New York Attorney General Letitia James accused former president Donald Trump and his company, the Trump Organization, of inflating its net worth by over $2.2 billion in 2014 as part of a filing she made today to a court in the Empire State.

According to the filing, ABC News reports, James states, “In 2014, Trump claimed on his statements of financial condition to be holding $6.7 billion in assets — but the attorney general’s office said in Wednesday’s filing that figure overstated Trump’s actual net worth that year by more than $2.2 billion.”

James made the filing as part of asking the court to render a summary judgement totaling $250 million against Trump and his company, which is owned by him and his three oldest children, Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka. Such a judgement would make a formal trial, which is scheduled for October, moot.

Trump has said under oath that his properties are “the Mona Lisa” of real estate.

“We have properties that make money, but you can sell for many, many times because of the quality of the property, like a Turnberry in Scotland,” Trump said, according to the transcript. “I could sell that. That’s like selling a painting. A painting on a wall that sells for $250 million and doesn’t make income. It just sits on a wall, but it sells for numbers.”

Additionally, the disgraced ex-president also bragged during a deposition, “I have — literally, I have some of the greatest pieces of property in the world and they sell — as Mar-a-Lago, some of the things I own in Europe, some of the things I own in New York, even like at Trump Towers, 57th and Fifth, it’s the best location. I have great assets.”

The facts, however, suggest otherwise, and overvaluing properties is considered financial fraud.

In 2014, Trump claimed on his statements of financial condition to be holding $6.7 billion in assets — but the attorney general’s office said in Wednesday’s filing that figure overstated Trump’s actual net worth that year by more than $2.2 billion.

Another example found in the filing from James is Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property in Palm Beach, Florida, which he claims is worth as much as $739 million, a figure that doesn’t comport with reality, James noted.

The attorney general’s filing Wednesday said Trump valued his Florida Mar-a-Lago estate “as if it could be sold as a private single family residence for amounts ranging between $347 million to $739 million.” The filing said those figures ignored limitations placed on how the property could be developed.

During that same period, the property was assessed by Palm Beach County as having a market value based on its restricted use as a social club ranging between $18 million to $27.6 million, the filing said.

A $250 million judgement against Trump and the Trump Organization could well bankrupt the company and the former president, who so short on cash that he had to employ the services of a bail bondsman for a $200,000 bond in Fulton County, Georgia, where he’s accused of trying to illegally overturn the results of the 2020 election.

James also has the option of banning Trump and his business from the state of New York, a punishment that has been dubbed the “corporate death penalty” and would allow the state to seize all of Trump Org’s assets in order to cover the costs of the alleged fraud committed against the tax authorities and New York financial institutions.
