WATCH Jim Jordan Get Mocked For His Lies: ‘What You’re Saying Doesn’t Make Sense!’

Failed one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump should thank God he doesn’t have Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) as one of his attorneys based on the absurd lies the congressman told CNN host Dana Bash,

Jordan was invited to be a guest for the purpose of discussing the 37-count federal indictment handed down by Justice Department Special Counsel Jack Smith against the failed ex-president.

Trump, you may recall, was caught on tape admitting that he was indeed in possession of classified documents that he could have declassified when he was still in office. He clearly stated on the tape that he didn’t declassify everything and had no power to do so once he left office.

That led Bash to ask how Jordan could assert that Trump had done nothing wrong, to which he replied, “When he was president, he declassified the material! He’s been very clear about that!”

“But he says, point blank, on tape as president I could have declassified it,” Bash countered. “Now I can’t. He says in his own words. It’s on tape as part of this indictment that he did not declassify the material. Therefore, it is classified.”

Jordan: “Dana saying he could have is not the same as saying he didn’t.”

Bash: “He said now I can’t.”

“Now he can’t, right, because he is not president now, but when he was president, he did declassify it,” Jordan insisted.

“Which means what he was holding was classified!” Bash correctly explained.

“No! Not if he declassified it when he was President of the United States for goodness’ sake,” Jordan claimed.

That’s when Bash laid maximum logic and mockery on Jordan: “But he’s saying point blank in this audio tape he did not declassify it. What you’re saying just doesn’t make sense on its face!”

Having been caught in a blatant lie, Jordan then pivoted and complained that Hillary Clinton hadn’t been prosecuted for her emails.

Yep, when you don’t have the facts on your side and you’re a Republican, the fallback position is always to blame Hillary. Pathetic.
