Failed one-term, twice impeached, and multiply indicted ex-president Donald Trump is getting a reminder of his massive mishandling of the biggest crisis he faced while he was still in office.
That reminder was prompted by comments the former president made during an interview on Newsmax in which he claimed the United States would fail to function if President Joe Biden is reelected in November.
“Look at even things like supply change,” Trump said, likely meaning “supply chains.”
“Things we never even heard about, you never heard that term,. Everything worked under me. It all worked.”
Those remarks set off a wave of laughter and mockery on Twitter/X, where users reminded Donald that during the Covid pandemic, many Americans were unable to get the most basic items, including medical supplies and toilet paper.
