Ted Nugent Has The Mic Taken From Him When He Calls Black Lives Matter ‘Punks’

Washed-up rock guitarist Ted Nugent got himself in a dangerous situation during an appearance at a GOP-backed rally in Centreville, Michigan.

According to WMMT, Nugent was onstage making remarks when he suddenly began attacking the Black Lives Matter Movement:

“Aren’t there any BLM punks who want to come up and harass me?”

A few moments later, a man identified as Jalen Brown walked towards the stage and asked Nugent:

“What’s wrong with Black lives Matter?”

Nugent replied:

“Black Lives don’t give a shit about Black lives, they’re standing by while Blacks are slaughtering each other.”

Nugent also said BLM was a terrorist organization.

And that was all it took for Brown to say that Nugent had crossed the line:

“As soon as he said Black Lives Matter was a terrorist organization, I took that personally.”

Brown took the microphone from Nugent and told the crowd:

“Black Lives Matter too! Black lives matter too!”

The reason for BLM, Brown told the group, is to make sure the country doesn’t forget just how badly blacks have been treated throughout history, adding:

“We’re not here by choice.”

Later, Brown told a reporter:

“I love the Constitution, I love the rights it should stand for. There are people who are taking those and misconstruing them and taking them in a different direction than what it should be.”

Nugent is known for making disgusting, racist remarks, even going so far as to suggest that he’d like to attack former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, remarking in 2007:

“Obama, he’s a piece of shit. I told him to suck on my machine gun. Hey Hillary. You might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch.”
