Washed-up rock guitarist Ted Nugent got himself in a dangerous situation during an appearance at a GOP-backed rally in Centreville, Michigan.
According to WMMT, Nugent was onstage making remarks when he suddenly began attacking the Black Lives Matter Movement:
A few moments later, a man identified as Jalen Brown walked towards the stage and asked Nugent:
Nugent replied:
Nugent also said BLM was a terrorist organization.
And that was all it took for Brown to say that Nugent had crossed the line:
Brown took the microphone from Nugent and told the crowd:
The reason for BLM, Brown told the group, is to make sure the country doesn’t forget just how badly blacks have been treated throughout history, adding:
Later, Brown told a reporter:
Nugent is known for making disgusting, racist remarks, even going so far as to suggest that he’d like to attack former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, remarking in 2007:
“Obama, he’s a piece of shit. I told him to suck on my machine gun. Hey Hillary. You might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch.”
