Lauren Boebert Proudly Announces She’s Written A Book – Twitter Explodes With Laughter

Did you know that Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is now a published author? Yes, her very first book, entitled My American Life, is coming out soon, and you can pre-order it if for some reason you need something guaranteed to make you both sleepy and nauseous at the same time.

Boebert announced her book on Twitter:

What do you suppose will be included in the book? Do you think any of these blunders by Congresswoman Bobblehead will be part of the tome?

“The Constitution is not evolving. To say that spits in the face of every single one of our founders.”

Can you imagine just how incredibly inane and coma-inducting a book written by Lauren Boebert would be? Twitter users can, and they had a field day mocking the Colorado Republican.

Progressive Twitter Accounts Lose Thousands Of Followers As Right-Wingers Gain – What’s Going On?

Some are calling it the “Musk effect,” and if it’s indicative of what we can expect on Twitter after Elon Musk actually completes his purchase of the social media platform, you can expect lots of controversy and even lawsuits.

NBC News notes that many progressive Twitter accounts have seen the loss of thousands of followers since Musk made his offer to buy the platform formal on Monday:

Twitter has been flooded with user reports of high-profile accounts losing thousands of followers after news broke that Tesla CEO Elon Musk would purchase the social network. The company said Tuesday that the “fluctuations in follower counts” came from “organic” account closures.

Some accounts on the political right, including that of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., saw their follower counts skyrocket.

Greene, who boasted 539,000 followers the day before news of Musk’s takeover, had 632,000 followers by Tuesday evening.

Organic account closures? Did that many people decide to ditch their Twitter accounts just because Musk came up with the $44 billion he needed for the purchase?

In a statement, Twitter had this to say:

“While we continue to take action on accounts that violate our spam policy which can affect follower counts, these fluctuations appear to largely be a result of an increase in new account creation and deactivation.”

Here’s a few major accounts that saw the biggest losses:

  • Former President Barack Obama — the most followed Twitter user — lost more than 300,000 followers
  • Pop star Katy Perry saw her follower count drop by 200,000

Meanwhile conservatives were practically crowing as their numbers increased dramatically, with Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) noting:

“It really is something how conservative accounts are getting massive follower increases today.”

However, Congressman Gaetz neglected to mention that he probably won’t be tweeting much if he’s indicted, tried, and found guilty of sexually trafficking a minor. Social media isn’t allowed in prison.

Oh, and while Musk may have begun the process of acquiring Twitter, Tesla stock took a major dive, tanking and costing the company $126 billion in value. Maybe Elon Musk isn’t as great of a businessman as he claims.

Fox News Lies Social Media

Tucker Carlson Gets Cold Busted Lying About Why He Rejoined Twitter

Like all of the on-air hosts at Fox News, Tucker Carlson lies about everything, even when he’d be better served by telling the truth.

For example, on Monday evening, just hours after the announcement that Elon Musk had reached a deal to acquire social media platform Twitter, Carlson announced he was rejoining the site, even going so far as to announce it on his nightly show.

However, it turns out that Carlson lied about the reason he had returned to Twitter, according to Mediaite:

Tucker Carlson appears to have attempted to mislead his viewers as to why he is back on Twitter after a month-long break.

Carlson, who was suspended by the censor-happy platform on March 23, attributed his return on Monday to Elon Musk on his nightly show.

Carlson had his account locked for a disgusting tweet he posted suggesting that Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine — who is transgender — was a man.

The Fox News host commented on Levine’s biological sex after two other prominent accounts, those of the Babylon Bee and of Charlie Kirk, were suspended for calling Levine a “man.”

Afterwards, Fox said Carlson would refuse to delete the tweet, no matter the consequences.

And yet, he clearly did delete the offensive tweet, which led him to send out this message an hour before his Monday evening broadcast:

What happened? Once again, Mediaite explains:

Carlson’s Monday tweet appears to be the result of a decision to delete the Levine post, which no longer appears on his timeline.

So Tucker was never going to delete the tweet, but he did exactly that, which means he lied. Then he failed to admit he had deleted said tweet and pretended he was back on the platform because Musk was now the owner of Twitter.

There are lies, and then there are Fox News lies, which are always bigger, more obvious, and more pernicious.

This Tweet From Lauren Boebert Is So Crazy That Social Media Users Are Still Shaking Their Heads

It’s a given that some crazy stuff gets posted on social media. If you doubt that, just take a spin around Twitter or Facebook on any given day and you’ll run across all kinds of head-scratching nonsense that borders on unintelligible and/or vapid.

But a tweet posted by Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has completely confounded even the most forgiving of social media patrons because it quite simply makes no sense whatsoever.

Here’s an attempt to decrypt that word salad:

Inflation numbers were released, so the first sentence checks out.

But the “tobacco industry being immune from prostitutes being sued” is a complete non sequitur. Where in the hell did that come from, and what does it mean? Do you recall reading anything in the news lately about the tobacco industry being sued by prostitutes or vice versa?

As for “any sort of economic solution,” be sure and note that Ms. Boebert provided no ideas of her own regarding economic policies she thinks might be used to combat inflation.

Twitter users were left shaking their heads to the point of dizziness.

Ted Cruz Decided To Mock Mr. T For Valuing His Health – That Was A HUGE Mistake

For some reason known only to him, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) seems to take great delight in attempting to mock, shame, or troll people on social media when they do something honorable, noble, or thoughtful.

Such is the case with a snotty comment Cruz made in response to a tweet sent out by Mr. T:

That led Cruz to respond:

Really, Ted? Maybe you should officially change your name to Sen. Asshole, because that’d be a hell of a lot more accurate.

The resulting blowback on social media was a reminder to Cruz that sometimes he needs to remain silent rather than proving his own pettiness.
