Failed, twice-impeached, one-term former President Donald Trump held one of his pathetic rallies in Conroe, Texas on Saturday evening, and before he ever took the stage, his MAGA moron faithful were proving they’re even dumber than the imbecile they so fervently adore.
One woman said that the Joe Biden we now see is actually a “fake” because “the real Biden was assassinated at Gitmo in March 2019.”
Oh, and she also thinks that Trump has resurrected dead celebrities and suggested that Michael Jackson, John F. Kennedy Jr., and Princess Diana would all be at Trump’s upcoming inauguration because he was essential in helping them “escape.”

There was also a man wearing a cowboy hat who held up a sign showing President Joe Biden wearing a dog collar and leash that was held by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
And it wouldn’t be a Trump rally without the mathematically and historically challenged idiots who love to wear clothing that only makes sense if you have the IQ of an eggplant:
Few people have been more of a thorn in the side of failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump than California Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell.
Swalwell, you may recall, has even sued Trump and his allies over the January 6 Capitol insurrection, as CNN reported in March of last year:
The new lawsuit … by Swalwell, a California Democrat who helped to lead impeachment arguments against Trump for inciting insurrection, follows a similar suit filed last month by Rep. Bennie Thompson against Trump, Giuliani and the extremist groups the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys. Swalwell’s case makes some of the same claims as Thompson’s — citing a civil rights law meant to counter the Ku Klux Klan’s intimidation of elected officials.
But it also alleges Trump, Trump Jr., Giuliani and Brooks broke Washington, DC, laws, including an anti-terrorism act, by inciting the riot, and that they aided and abetted violent rioters and inflicted emotional distress on the members of Congress.
And now Swalwell is trolling the Donald’s fanatical (and sometimes dangerous) followers, who showed up in Florence, Arizona Saturday night for what Rolling Stone called Trump playing “the hits,” even though those so-called “hits” still suck:
The rally, much like the one that preceded it, was a rehash of the Big Lie, the same dangerous rhetoric that encouraged Trump’s supporters to launch a violent attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6, posing a real threat to our democracy. But the attempted coup failed, dooming Trump to holding rallies and feeding his supporters a steady stream of bullshit to keep them fired up for the midterms and his potential 2024 run. After all, supporters will continue to show up and treat him as the god emperor they believe him to be.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) did a complete 180 degree turn on Tuesday during an appearance on Fox News.
Speaking with Fox host Bret Baier, McCarthy was asked for his thoughts about failed, one-term former President Donald Trump’s continuing claims that he actually won the 2020 election and was cheated out of it, despite never providing a shred of evidence to support those assertions.
McCarthy told Baier:
“Joe Biden is the President of the United States. He legitimately got elected.”

McCarthy in March when asked by @mkraju if he stood by supporting the TX lawsuit that would have invalidated millions of votes from the presidential election: "yes"
McCarthy and Trump have what can best be called a love-hate relationship, as evidenced by reports that the two had a shouting match on the phone during the Capitol insurrection on January 6:
“‘When McCarthy finally reached the president on January 6 and asked him to publicly call off the riot, the president initially repeated the falsehood that it was antifa that had breached the Capitol,’ Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Wa., said in a statement posted to Twitter on Friday night.
“At one point during the phone call, McCarthy told Trump: ‘Who the f—k do you think you are talking to?’ according to a Republican lawmaker briefed on the conversation.”
So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that McCarthy is ready to move on, especially since he probably fears Trump might try another run at the White House in 2024, provided he isn’t in prison at the time.
But the MAGA faithful were outraged by what McCarthy said, and they took to Twitter to vent their anger and shed their tears:

In Dallas this weekend, the Conservative Political Action Committee — also known as CPAC — is meeting so right-wingers and other political crackpots will have a place to ruminate about the “good old days” when failed, one-term former President Donald Trump was still in the White House, putting migrant children into internment camps, golfing several times a week, and telling the American people that COVID-19 was no worse than the flu.
But as with most gatherings of Republicans and neo-fascists, there’s also plenty of conspiracy theories floating around for the attendees to sample and try on for size.
One of those was first spotted by Andrew Solander of Forbes, who noted that there was a plan involving seven steps for “reinstalling” Donald Trump as president “in days, not years.”
The plan, being circulated by a group named PatriotSoars on a card handed out to CPAC attendees, is so absurd that you may find yourself laughing uncontrollably before you get past the first couple of steps:
As HuffPost reports, details of the “plan” are so farfetched as to be the rantings of a lunatic — i.e. a member of the Trump family — though we have no evidence to support such a supposition:
“However, a casual observer with an understanding with the basic principles of critical thinking might see problems with the plan, such as getting members of the Black caucus, such as Reps. Maxine Waters of California and Jim Clyburn of South Carolina, and Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, to suddenly join a political party that doesn’t reflect their values.
“Oh, and there is that pesky issue of finding 17 Democratic senators willing to impeach Biden and Harris to meet the two-thirds threshold required by the Constitution to remove a president or vice president from office.”
Others on Twitter also weighed in on the 7-point plan for returning Trump as Grand Poobah:
They can't impeach them together. You can impeach them individually, but as soon as you remove one or the other. Well they can fill that empty VP slot. There really is no way they can make Trump president by making him speaker.
One person even cut right through the tinfoil hat bullshittery and noted that it sounds like the Trump faithful are actually admitting (GASP!) that Donnie Dotard lost the 2020 election, which makes all the other points completely moot:

That’s right. Donald Trump lost. He lost by a LOT. And he was also impeached twice along the way, the only president in history to earn that dubious honor. That means that if you still support him, you’re an even bigger loser than he is.
