Tucker Carlson Admits What We’ve Long Suspected: ‘I Lie If I’m Really Cornered Or Something. I Lie.’

One of the main requirements for being an on-air host at Fox News is that you have to be willing to lie, twist the facts, fabricate evidence, and misinform your viewers, even though doing can have disastrous consequences, à la the 2020 election results and subsequent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

Of course, the people who work at Fox will never come right out and tell their viewers that they’re being lied to. That would destroy whatever modicum of credibility they might have in the minds of the right-wing MAGA faithful, many of who have now switched to even more extreme sources of bullshit, i.e. Newsmax and One America News.

But in a moment of stunning honesty, Tucker Carlson is admitting that he does indeed lie, telling right-wing Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” that lying is part of who he is, even though he immediately tried to take it back Media Matters reports:

“I guess I would ask myself, like, I mean I lie if I’m really cornered or something. I lie. I really try not to. I try never to lie on TV. I just don’t — I don’t like lying. I certainly do it, you know, out of weakness or whatever.”

So if you’re not trying to lie, that means you’re not a liar? Good luck selling that one in a court of law. Sure, I committed perjury, but I didn’t like doing it. Tell a judge that and the next sound you hear will be the cell doors closing as you settle in to serve your sentence.

Carlson also fessed up to harming people with his lies and misinformation, but he claims he didn’t do it out of malice:

“And I have to say. There have been many times in the twenty-five years I’ve been in TV where I think you know, are we using this, like, very substantial power that we have to put pictures on the screen to hurt weak people. And I have done that, inadvertently over the years because I got carried away. But I really try not to.”

Tucker didn’t mean to slag a person who was totally innocent. It was inadvertent; he just got carried away. That’s certain to make the person he attacked feel so much better.

Remember the man who approached Carlson recently in Montana and called him “the worst human being ever”? The reason that resonated so deeply with people is because it’s true. Tucker Carlson is a total douchebag, and a self-admitted liar. Those things alone make him a lowlife.

Newsmax Host Suggests Obama Has Never Worked A Day In His Life And Is Lazy

Today is former President Barack Obama’s 60th birthday, so a very happy birthday, Mr. President, and thank you for all of the many things you did to make this country better during your two terms in office.

Not everyone, however, is happy about the fact that President Obama is turning 60 and holding a birthday party. Some of them are downright angry and even jealous.

A perfect example would be Newsmax host Greg Kelly, who thought he’d suggest that Obama has never had to work hard and is basically just a lazy black guy who managed to get ahead in life due to the color of his skin.

Here’s how Kelly started his rant about the former president:

“Everything is great for him. he’s a billionaire, and it just hit me today. You know, he’s never really had a job. We all know he never broke a sweat as president.”

Of course, what Kelly neglected to add is that Obama was in such excellent physical condition that he didn’t have to break a sweat. Apparently, the folks at Newsmax prefer fat pigs who eat KFC and Big Macs endlessly as head of state, especially since that presents such a stellar image to the rest of the world.

However, Kelly was only getting warmed up with what turned out to be an incredibly racist diatribe. He continued:

“How about in his way UP the ladder, huh? Night school position at Chicago law school. I don’t think he worked too hard there.”

How many classes has Greg Kelly taught at an elite law school? Probably none. And he also neglected to mention that Obama graduated from Harvard Law School and was even editor of Law Review, the highest honor any law student can receive.

Of course, President Obama has also written some best-selling books, but that doesn’t impress Kelly, either:

“How hard do you have to work on those books when you are the subject when you write about yourself?”

Well, at least he didn’t need a ghostwriter like some other presidents we can think of and even name, especially since they only got one term in office and left the country a wreck.

There was also this pathetic attempt at slagging Obama:

“And I know being Mr. Michelle Obama was probably challenging at times, but basically he’s had a very cake life.”

Again, the jealousy. Kelly wishes he could have attracted the attention of a woman as brilliant and classy as Michelle Obama.

Basically, Greg Kelly took an entire segment of his poorly-watched show and let the world know that he cannot stand the fact Barack Obama has accomplished more in his 60 years than 99.9% of conservatives ever will. And he also didn’t file for bankruptcy multiple times or say publicly that he was attracted to his daughter when she was 13.

Happy Birthday, President Obama. And thank you for still driving the right-wingers crazy.

Biden Leaves Reporter Dumbfounded When She Tries A Gotcha Question About ‘Defunding The Police’

On Thursday evening, as he was returning to the White House from a town hall in Cincinnati, President Joe Biden was approached by a reporter from the right-wing media outlet the Daily Caller, which was founded by Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

The reporter, Shelby Talcott, asked the president:

“Mr. President, can you clarify what you said about no — that there’s no — no one in the Democratic Party is anti-police.”

Biden responded:

“I didn’t say that. I said that that — that is not the Democratic Party’s position. I’m the Democratic Party; I am President. So is the Speaker of the House and so is the –- the Majority Leader. We are not defunding the police.”

Talcott asked the same question again, even though Biden had already answered here:

“Okay. And are there people who — in the Democratic Party, who want to defund the police?”

That’s when the president shut Talcott down, leaving her dumbfounded when he asked:

“Are there people in the Republican Party who think we’re sucking the blood out of kids?”

Clearly, Biden was referencing the infamous QAnon conspiracy theory that’s so popular with right-wingers who support failed, one-term former President Donald Trump.

But perhaps the best part of the exchange is how outraged conservatives were that President Biden dared to raise the specter of QAnon as a way of proving just how absurd Republicans have become in recent years:

There are few things right-wingers hate more than when you use facts on them.

Fox News’ Ratings Are In The Toilet And Donald Trump Is To Blame

There was a time just a few months ago when Fox News was one of the most powerful forces in the media world. They had nearly unlimited access to the then-president, Donald Trump, and were able to set the media agenda and constantly see their ratings skyrocket.

Now, however, according to an eye-opening report from The Daily Beast, it’s clear that Fox is hemorrhaging viewers and in serious financial trouble, with reporter Justin Baragona noting that to distract from their own trouble, the network is trying to suggest that channels such as CNN and MSNBC are also doing poorly, which isn’t exactly true.

Baragona explains how Fox has been using smokescreens in a desperate attempt to cover up the collapse of their own pathetic ratings:

“If you’ve been on Fox News’ digital news site or bouncing around the right-wing media ecosphere in recent weeks, you’ve no doubt come across an article or three about the recent collapse in viewership at CNN and MSNBC. And the tanking ratings have largely been tied to the ‘credibility’ issues the two networks supposedly have in covering President Joe Biden’s administration following Donald Trump’s exit from the White House. Lost in all this coverage, however, is one stubborn fact: Fox News has also suffered a precipitous drop in its viewership.”

But while the ratings dip in cable news is largely a result of Trump no longer keeping the airwaves full of anger, divisive language, and heartless policies, Fox’s problems when it comes to attracting eyeballs go back even further, which suggests the once-mighty conservative network is becoming irrelevant:

“One noticeable thing, however, about the large audiences that CNN and MSNBC pulled in during that month is the massive growth it experienced from the same time the previous year. Fox News, on the other hand, actually suffered a year-to-year drop in viewership, despite the historic news cycle. The shocking third-place finish by Fox News in January and the erosion of its audience was largely chalked up to disgruntled Trump supporters who not only felt Fox News wasn’t sufficiently loyal to the soon-to-be ex-president but also blamed the conservative network for Trump’s electoral loss.”

Fox has become the enemy to many conservatives and right-wingers. And that could be the kiss of death for a network that has built its business model around one political figure who’s now irrelevant and up to his eyebrows in legal trouble.

Since Fox cannot possibly admit their own anemic ratings without looking vulnerable, they’ve tried to change the subject:

“It’s a given that Fox News would push a negative narrative about its competitors, and of course the broader media context is lost on the right-wing outlets that boost it. But the reality is that all of cable news is slumping—and ultimately Fox may want to avoid talking about anyone else’s ‘credibility gap.'”

Fox News is learning the hard way what political strategist and author Rick Wilson has been saying for years:

“Everything Trump touches dies.”

Right-Wing Media Is Losing It Because Joe Biden Whispered A Response To A Reporter

With all of the news this week, you may have missed a press event President Joe Biden had on Thursday to discuss a bipartisan infrastructure bill that had just been announced by a group of senators.

But what wound up vexing right-wing media figures and commentators the most, according to Newsweek, was that Biden whispered his response on three occasions, clearly trying to make a point with the tone of his voice:

“While answering questions from several reporters about the deal, Biden leaned over his lectern and whispered the responses seemingly to emphasize the key points of the plan and his work as president since being inaugurated on January 20.

“When PBS reporter Yamiche Alcindor asked him about additional relief for families amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Biden leant over the lectern and whispered: ‘I got them $1.9 trillion in relief so far. They’re going to be getting checks in the mail that are consequential this week for childcare.'”

However, to hear right-wing media tell it, the whispering was somehow proof of Biden’s unfitness for office.

Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany (who loves to brag about being a “Christian), couldn’t resist mocking the president:

And that was all it took for other right-wingers to pile on and make a mountain out of the proverbial molehill:

Fox News contributor Sean Duffy remarked:

“And to lean forward and, you know, whisper your answers kinda leads me to believe that there is some level of dementia.”

And Fox News contributor Sara Carter sarcastically commented:

“Listen to Biden and let me know if you’re feeling scared.”

Wanna know what really scares me, Sara? When the president of the United States suggests that Americans ingest disinfectant or put light inside their bodies as cures for COVID-19:

“And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?

“So it’d be interesting to check that.”

How desperate are conservatives to attack Biden no matter what he does? So much so that they’re now whining about whispered responses. Sounds like they need a few shots of Lysol to clear their heads.
