WATCH: Right-Wing Media Abandons Marjorie Taylor Greene To Speak With An Important Republican

Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is not a person to be taken the least bit seriously. As matter of fact, even members of her own party think she’s a loose cannon, and most of them won’t be seen in public with her for that very reason.

Despite that, Greene is brimming over with self-importance, falsely believing that people should hang on her every word even though her words are hateful drivel.

So it must have come as quite a hit to her ego when Greene was talking to a reporter from Right Side Broadcasting at a Trump rally on Saturday in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and suddenly became second-hand news, Newsweek reports:

Greene, a Republican from Georgia, spoke at length to Right Side Broadcasting Network hosts prior to the start of Saturday’s rally in Wilkes-Barre.

But at one point, a commotion can be heard as Mastriano, the Republican nominee for Pennsylvania governor, arrived.

“Doug Mastriano,” RSBN’s Brian Glenn said, before he darted quickly behind Greene, who was still speaking.

Afterwards, Greene pretended she also wanted to speak with Mastriano:

“I look forward to meeting him and talking about, talking to him about his plans for Pennsylvania as governor.”

Sure you do, Margie. Sure you do.

Greene also got a massive dose of mockery on Twitter.

Former Fox Reporter Says It’s Time To Put People In Jail For The Network’s Racist Propaganda

One of the things accused Buffalo mass shooter Payton S. Gendron cited in his 100+ page online manifesto as the reason he decided to attack and kill 10 black shoppers at a grocery store over the weekend was something known as the “great replacement theory.”

If you’re unfamiliar with what replacement theory is, here’s a quick rundown, courtesy of the Washington Post:

The theory was once confined to far-right White extremists, who cast immigration as part of a plot by “elites” to take political and economic power away from White people. It has gained broader circulation in recent years as a talking point among prominent conservative media figures.

(Fox host Tucker) Carlson, whose weeknight program is typically the most popular on Fox News, has been an especially avid promoter of the thesis. He has mentioned variations on the idea in more than 400 episodes since 2016, according to a New York Times analysis of his program. In April of last year, he said on Fox News that people from the “Third World” are immigrating to the United States “to replace the current electorate” and “dilute the political power of the people who live there” — language that essentially distills the replacement thesis.

Replacement theory and Fox’s fondness for that and other extreme, right-wing ideas, was the topic of discussion on MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” Tuesday, and one of the guests was former Fox reporter Carl Cameron, who was asked by host Nicolle Wallace:

“I mean, obviously a mass shooter is responsible for the violence and the heinous acts that the mass shooter committed,” Wallace noted. “It is also true that the ideology left in the mass shooter’s screen mirrors the ideology championed by Tucker Carlson.

“What happens at Fox News when something like this happens?”

Cameron responded:

“I can’t even imagine. That’s partly why I ended up getting out of there.

“It really is kind of horrible to think that journalists with national and international capacity are putting together this type of nonsense. I think the president did a great job. I wish he had done a lot of this a lot sooner, and we need a lot more from the left and the middle, and we got to watch out because the Republicans have become the purveyors of misinformation, and when our two-party system is broken like that, democracy is seriously in trouble.”

And then Cameron referenced something that President Joe Biden has said before:

“The president acknowledged that it’s time to actually start doing things and maybe taking some names and putting people in jail.”

Near then end of his remarks, Cameron told Wallace:

“I really can’t channel how Tucker believes in any of this stuff and how the network can go through with it. I will say this, however, it is very clear that this type of lying and deception is catching on,” he warned. “There’s racism across the borders, immigrants are being beaten up and being harassed more than ever. Judaism is constantly under fire, and all of this is essentially being accepted by a left — excuse me, a far, far-right community of people who have nothing but grievance based on lies.”

Before you say nothing can be done and point to the First Amendment, keep in mind that Americans have been prosecuted in the past for broadcasting information that was deemed to be supportive of Al Qaeda and ISIS. Those are international terrorist organizations, but the domestic terror threat is growing by the day, and if we don’t do something to address the problem, we may see attacks like the one in Buffalo across all 50 states and a call by some on the far right to stage mass casualty events that will leave the entire country terrorized.

Prosecute Tucker Carlson and others for inciting violence? Maybe if we did they’d think twice before they opened their mouths and spouted hatred again.

Fox News Gets Caught Lying About ‘Pallets Of Baby Food’ Being Sent To ‘Illegal Immigrants’

Even though they have the temerity to call themselves a “news” network, a large portion of what Fox News broadcasts is little more than right-wing propaganda, Republican talking points, and outright lies that are easily rebutted with a quick Google search.

Such was the case on Sean Hannity’s show recently when he fell for the crap the network had been fed by Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL), who was Hannity’s guest to whine that the Biden administration was shipping “pallets and pallets of baby formula for illegal immigrants and their families.”

As Mediaite notes, Cammack shared photos with Fox that weren’t exactly what she claimed:

Cammack has appeared on several Fox News programs to complain about the issue, and shared photos that she says were given to her by a CBP agent.

CNN’s Reliable Sources did a fact-check on Cammack’s photos, and what they found is far from what the congresswoman alleged:

The photo Hannity pointed to, and the one that followed it, showed boxes and boxes clearly labeled NIDO. As anyone at Fox could have discovered with about a minute’s worth of fact-checking, NIDO is not baby formula; it is powdered milk. As its maker, Nestlé, specifically notes: “NIDO® products are only intended for children ages 1 year and older.”

There is undoubtedly some formula being provided to babies in these centers at the border — you’d assume there would be, unless you expect the government to simply decide to starve babies in its care. The narrative spun over the past two days on the right, though, has let people imagine not a little bit of necessary food but rivers of formula going to the undocumented over themselves. It’s an illuminating example of how Republican politicians and right-wing media work in concert, turning the thinnest possible set of facts into days of outrage over Them getting something You deserve — and then, as with the photos Hannity and “Fox & Friends” used, abandoning facts altogether.

Immigration reporter Anna Giaritelli of the Washington Examiner also called out Cammack for her fake photos:

Fox News is fake news. They always have been.

WATCH Marjorie Taylor Greene Get ‘Canceled’ By Newsmax When She Attacks The FBI

Right-wingers absolutely love to talk about how progressives want to impose “cancel culture” on everything they disagree with, which is really just code for conservatives wanting to be racist, homophobic, sexist, or disgustingly bigoted and getting their feelings hurt when they’re called out for being willfully obtuse.

But cancel culture came to call for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on Thursday during her media event with fellow extremist Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL). And this time it came from the right.

First of all, the press conference on the first anniversary of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was even more batshit crazy than you’d expect hearing the names Greene and Gaetz, with the Florida perv insisting that Jan. 6 had been a false flag staged by the federal government:

“Congresswoman Greene and I are not here to celebrate January 6. We’re not here to obsess about it. But we are here to expose the truth.”

He then went fully fact-free:

“We know this: January 6th last year wasn’t an insurrection. No one’s been charged with insurrection, no one’s been charged with treason. But it may very well have been a Fedsurrection.”

When it was Greene’s turn to talk, she picked up the baton from Florida Man and kicked off her own demented rant:

“You know what I think needs to be the biggest investigation in United States history? What is going on at the FBI and what is happening at the Department of Justice? And the American people deserve those answers because it’s the American people and the taxpayers that pay for all of it! Now I don’t want to have anything to do with a government that is going to be so obsessed with overturning regime change in our own country when it should be serving the American people, particularly…”

Extreme right-wing “news” site Newsmax quickly cut away from Greene, with the host noting:

“All right, Marjorie Taylor Greene. With Congressman Matt Gaetz there, putting forth some of the arguments from the Republican side that you certainly didn’t hear today from President Biden and the Democrats.”

Yep, Marj and the Sunshine State Perv got canceled by a right-wing outlet, which may well be the most ironic thing of 2022 even though the year has just begun.

Sorry, Marj, but even your conservative, tinfoil hat-wearing compatriots appear to be tired of your crap.

Tucker Carlson Admits What We’ve Long Suspected: ‘I Lie If I’m Really Cornered Or Something. I Lie.’

One of the main requirements for being an on-air host at Fox News is that you have to be willing to lie, twist the facts, fabricate evidence, and misinform your viewers, even though doing can have disastrous consequences, à la the 2020 election results and subsequent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

Of course, the people who work at Fox will never come right out and tell their viewers that they’re being lied to. That would destroy whatever modicum of credibility they might have in the minds of the right-wing MAGA faithful, many of who have now switched to even more extreme sources of bullshit, i.e. Newsmax and One America News.

But in a moment of stunning honesty, Tucker Carlson is admitting that he does indeed lie, telling right-wing Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” that lying is part of who he is, even though he immediately tried to take it back Media Matters reports:

“I guess I would ask myself, like, I mean I lie if I’m really cornered or something. I lie. I really try not to. I try never to lie on TV. I just don’t — I don’t like lying. I certainly do it, you know, out of weakness or whatever.”

So if you’re not trying to lie, that means you’re not a liar? Good luck selling that one in a court of law. Sure, I committed perjury, but I didn’t like doing it. Tell a judge that and the next sound you hear will be the cell doors closing as you settle in to serve your sentence.

Carlson also fessed up to harming people with his lies and misinformation, but he claims he didn’t do it out of malice:

“And I have to say. There have been many times in the twenty-five years I’ve been in TV where I think you know, are we using this, like, very substantial power that we have to put pictures on the screen to hurt weak people. And I have done that, inadvertently over the years because I got carried away. But I really try not to.”

Tucker didn’t mean to slag a person who was totally innocent. It was inadvertent; he just got carried away. That’s certain to make the person he attacked feel so much better.

Remember the man who approached Carlson recently in Montana and called him “the worst human being ever”? The reason that resonated so deeply with people is because it’s true. Tucker Carlson is a total douchebag, and a self-admitted liar. Those things alone make him a lowlife.
