Katie Porter Swats Down Lauren Boebert During Hearing On Federal Workers: VIDEO

Bless her moronic little heart, Colorado Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert simply cannot understand the easiest of topics, so it should come as no surprise she wound up monumetally confused during a hearing on federal workers today in the House of Representatives

During a House Oversight hearing, Boebert claimed that 20 to 30% of federal workers didn’t log into work “on any given day” between March and December of 2020. According to Boebert, her “facts” came from a leaked memo. She then suggested that federal employees no longer have to report vacations as time off from work and could conceivably claim to be working remotely from home “while at a swim-up bar in Cabo.”

Kiran Ahuja, Director of the Office of Personnel Management, was the witness appearing before the committee, and she made it clear the agency hasn’t made any changes that would allow employees to not report their work vs. vacation time.

Despite that assurance, Boebert angrily insisted that she had evidence proving 25% of federal workers never log into their worksite:  “It’s in this leaked document!”

Once more, Director Ahuja denied such a thing was true:

“You’re citing what was happening in the last administration, and I can’t speak to that particular incident.”

Boebert inquired, “Do you not oversee those agencies?”

The director explained that the Office of Personnel Management oversees “personnel policies” and isn’t aware of what takes place inside individual agencies.

Finally, mercifully, Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) joined the conversation and tried to enlighten the perpetually confused Ms. Boebert.

“I just want to flag for everyone here, that VPN (virtual private network) and using VPN login as a way to measure employee engagement and productivity is notoriously inaccurate and misleading. It does not necessarily reflect an employee’s access to their email internet, they can be working on Microsoft Word, drafting a document, they can be in Excel putting in data without being connected to the internet at all.”

Did Boebert understand that explanation? Probably not, which proves yet again that idiots and morons should never ever be elected to public office, and if they are, should never ever be allowed to serve on any committee.

Here’s the video of Boebert proving her stupidity for all the world to see:

WATCH Lauren Boebert Object When Cori Bush Says ‘White Supremacist’ At A House Hearing

Colorado Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert got very upset when her Democratic colleague on the House Oversight Committee, Cori Bush of Missouri, dared to utter the words “white supremacist” and immediately demanded that they be taken down and removed from the record on Wednesday.

The hearing was to discuss the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve, and Bush noted that one of the witnesses invited by committee Republicans was Alex Epstein, President of the Center for Industrial Progress, even though he had “espoused white supremacist views.”

Boebert immediately told chair Rep. Pat Fallon (R-TX), “Mr. Chairman, I demand the gentlelady’s words be taken down. She just called the witness a white supremacist.”

Bush rightly noted that she had actually “referred to the words, not to the person, not to him, the words.”

Fallon informed Boebert that “The chair cannot take down words that are directed toward a witness only to other members.”

That allowed Bush to fully quote Epstein:

“Rather than disavow them, he doubled down on this narrative saying, ‘It has nothing to do with skin color. I was arguing that those cultures overall are inferior to Western culture.'”

The Missouri Democrat noted, “We are not inferior to any culture, speaking as a descendant of one of those cultures.”

While she was at it, Congresswoman Bush also noted that Boebert and many of her GOP colleagues had refused to sign a letter condemning white supremacy.

Indeed, as Forbes reports, House Oversight member Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) urged Republicans to condemn white supremacy in all forms.

The ranking member attached a resolution that’s already been signed by all of the committee’s Democratic members, which Raskin asked GOP committee members to now sign as well.

Raskin cited “dangerous and conspiratorial rhetoric that Republican committee members have made that “[borrow] from” the “Great Replacement” theory as making it more necessary to emphasize that the Republican lawmakers denounce those ideologies, such as describing migrants arriving at the Southern border as an “invasion” and claiming the Biden Administration was “implementing a plan ‘to deliberately open our border’ for purposes of ‘changing our culture.’”

Despite that plea, 26 Republicans refused to sign the resolution. One of those was none other than Lauren Boebert.

To borrow a line from the late author Maya Angelou, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.

Lauren Boebert Says Conservatives ‘Have The Weapons To Win’ In Militant CPAC Rant

Colorado Republican extremist Congresswoman Lauren Boebert was one of the featured speakers at the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) today in Maryland, and the speech she gave reeked of militancy and threats as she suggested that right-wingers “have the weapons to win” in a battle against Democrats.

Pacing the stage like a caged animal, Boebert repeatedly fired off scripture from the Bible and denounced “the left [that] wants to silence your speech.”

“We are going to make sure that all of these agencies that have been working against you … have an audit and if there is any woke program in these agencies, it is immediately defunded. Every diversity, equity, inclusion program … every woke initiative in our military … must be uprooted and completely defunded.”

The ardent Second Amendment extremist also remarked, “We have truth on our side … This fight has come to us. We didn’t ask for it, but we have the weapons to win this battle against actual evil.”

Near the end of her comments, Boebert told the sparse audience:

“We have just begun winning. Don’t let anyone grow weary in this fight.”

Boebert’s CPAC comments shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. After all, this is the same deranged lunatic who said Jesus wouldn’t have been crucified if he’d had more AR-15 assault rifles around him.

At an event hosted by the Charis Christian Center in 2022, the Colorado Republican said:

“They like to say: ‘Oh, Jesus didn’t need an AR-15. How many AR-15s do you think Jesus woulda had?’ Well, he didn’t have enough to keep his government from killing him.”

She also made reference to the Biblical story of Cain and Abel:

“Cancel culture has been here since the very beginning. Cain canceled Abel. And guess what, it wasn’t with a big, scary AR-15, it was with a rock. So I don’t think it’s a firearm issue, I think it’s a heart, a sin issue.”

GED Queen Lauren Boebert Flunks Basic Geography With Very Strange Map

Colorado Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert posted a meme on Twitter that only succeeded in reinforcing the widely-held belief her skull is filled with dust and cobwebs instead of a functional brain.

“Sometimes a meme says it best,” Boebert wrote in a note to go along with her meme in which you can see a “Map showing the only place my taxes should go to.”

Of course, anyone who knows basic geography can easily take a look at Boebert’s map and immediately know two states are missing: Alaska and Hawaii.

Also missing are Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam, all of which are a part of the United States.

The incomplete map from Boebert shouldn’t surprise anyone who’s been paying attention since she first joined Congress three years ago. Here’s a few other examples that help explain why she needed multiple attempts to pass the GED high school equivalency exam:

Pursing? What does that even mean?

Holy shit! She can’t even spell her own name correctly!

Imeach Biden? Can someone please give us all a definition of what that word means?

The Founding Fathers were terrified of Facebook not allowing free speech on their platform, according to Lauren.

As for Boebert’s map, that also drew plenty of mockery.

Lauren Boebert Walks Into A Massive Self-Own When She Tries To Give Americans A Civics Lesson

If you thought you’d seen and heard all of the laughable ignorance that can possibly come from Colorado Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, she outdid herself today, and it resulted in one of the most humiliating (and hilarious) self-owns you’ll ever encounter.

For some reason, Boebert decided that she’d offer a lesson in civics to everyone on Twitter, posting this:

“This is your daily reminder that America is a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy.”

Is Boebert right? Nope.

Yes, we are indeed a Constitutional Republic, but if we weren’t also a democracy, then what would be the point of the republic?

As the Washington Post rightly noted in a 2015 article:

The United States is not a direct democracy, in the sense of a country in which laws (and other government decisions) are made predominantly by majority vote. Some lawmaking is done this way, on the state and local levels, but it’s only a tiny fraction of all lawmaking. But we are a representative democracy, which is a form of democracy.

[…]

To be sure, in addition to being a representative democracy, the United States is also a constitutional democracy, in which courts restrain in some measure the democratic will. And the United States is therefore also a constitutional republic. Indeed, the United States might be labeled a constitutional federal representative democracy. But where one word is used, with all the oversimplification that this necessary entails, “democracy” and “republic” both work. Indeed, since direct democracy — again, a government in which all or most laws are made by direct popular vote — would be impractical given the number and complexity of laws that pretty much any state or national government is expected to enact, it’s unsurprising that the qualifier “representative” would often be omitted. Practically speaking, representative democracy is the only democracy that’s around at any state or national level.

Long story short: The United States is a republic governed by the Constitution, but it’s also a democracy because we elect those who represent us to make the laws by which we’re all governed.

So Boebert is wrong yet again, which isn’t surprising when you consider that she needed multiple attempts before she passed the GED high school equivalency exam.

Twitter users couldn’t resist reminding the Colorado Republican that she had once again managed to prove her own ignorance.
