Lauren Boebert Walks Into A Massive Self-Own When She Tries To Give Americans A Civics Lesson

If you thought you’d seen and heard all of the laughable ignorance that can possibly come from Colorado Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, she outdid herself today, and it resulted in one of the most humiliating (and hilarious) self-owns you’ll ever encounter.

For some reason, Boebert decided that she’d offer a lesson in civics to everyone on Twitter, posting this:

“This is your daily reminder that America is a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy.”

Is Boebert right? Nope.

Yes, we are indeed a Constitutional Republic, but if we weren’t also a democracy, then what would be the point of the republic?

As the Washington Post rightly noted in a 2015 article:

The United States is not a direct democracy, in the sense of a country in which laws (and other government decisions) are made predominantly by majority vote. Some lawmaking is done this way, on the state and local levels, but it’s only a tiny fraction of all lawmaking. But we are a representative democracy, which is a form of democracy.

[…]

To be sure, in addition to being a representative democracy, the United States is also a constitutional democracy, in which courts restrain in some measure the democratic will. And the United States is therefore also a constitutional republic. Indeed, the United States might be labeled a constitutional federal representative democracy. But where one word is used, with all the oversimplification that this necessary entails, “democracy” and “republic” both work. Indeed, since direct democracy — again, a government in which all or most laws are made by direct popular vote — would be impractical given the number and complexity of laws that pretty much any state or national government is expected to enact, it’s unsurprising that the qualifier “representative” would often be omitted. Practically speaking, representative democracy is the only democracy that’s around at any state or national level.

Long story short: The United States is a republic governed by the Constitution, but it’s also a democracy because we elect those who represent us to make the laws by which we’re all governed.

So Boebert is wrong yet again, which isn’t surprising when you consider that she needed multiple attempts before she passed the GED high school equivalency exam.

Twitter users couldn’t resist reminding the Colorado Republican that she had once again managed to prove her own ignorance.

Lauren Boebert Urges Christians To Pray For Joe Biden’s Death

It’s been imminently clear for some time now that Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is one of the dumbest, meanest, and most deplorable human beings currently slithering across the face of the planet.

After all, Boebert has repeatedly attacked LGBTQ Americans, hurled insults at both her Democratic and Republican colleagues in Congress, spread bogus conspiracy theories, and even managed to alienate people she once claimed were friends.

And now we have Boebert on the record urging so-called “Christians” to pray for the immediate death of President Joe Biden.

Patriot Takes shared a video of Boebert remarking:

“We pray for our president. Let his days be few and another take his office. That’s why I filed the articles of impeachment for Joe Biden. Unfortunately, he does have a really good insurance policy named Kamala Harris.”

Boebert is directly referencing a verse from the Bible, a book which she either didn’t read or didn’t fully understand. It’s Psalm 109:8, and it reads:

“Let his days be few; and let another take his office.”

People who are actually Christians (i.e. Pope Francis, former president Jimmy Carter) don’t wish such hateful shit on others. It’s not what Christ taught. Instead, Jesus said:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12: 30-31)

Of course, Boebert doesn’t bother to do as Christ’s teachings tell her to. That’s because she’s a fake Christian who thinks hatred is good and anyone different than her is evil.

The congresswoman got reminded of her faux Christianity on Twitter, where users lit her up for being a disgusting piece of human excrement.

But perhaps it was Mahatma Gandhi who said it best:

WATCH Lauren Boebert Get Swatted Down For Trying To ‘Blame The Victim’ During House Hearing

Believe it or not, but one of the dumbest members of Congress (and maybe one of the dumbest on the face of the entire planet) now has a starring role on the House Oversight Committee, and she found out on Wednesday that her ignorance gives others all the ammunition they need to make her look like the moronic dullard she is and will always be.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was the designated idiot and the topic was whether or not federal funds allocated by Congress for COVID assistance were spent improperly.

When it came her time to speak, Boebert suggested that U.S. taxpayers were “defrauded a possible $560 billion as a result of the federal government’s negligence in carrying out these federal COVID relief funding programs.”

She then asked:

“Does anyone know an organization in America or around the world, public or private, that has been scammed out of $560 billion, and simply, is that okay? I certainly can’t think of one and I don’t think that it’s okay either.”

The congresswoman also asked witnesses who were testifying if anyone had faced discipline or been relieved of their duties because they “failed to keep hundreds of billions of dollars from being stolen from the American taxpayer.”

When none of the witnesses had any reply to her question, Boebert referenced information that suggested money was improperly spent during the COVID pandemic, saying, “How the heck were these bureaucrats so dang incompetent that they were being scammed out of $35 million every hour for nearly two years?”

That led fellow committee member Rep. Daniel Goldman (D-NY) to mock Boebert and her “effort to blame the victim for fraud by bad actors” mentioning that funds allocated by Congress for pandemic relief “was both lifesaving and [economy] saving as we faced the worst pandemic in our history.”

As you’d expect, Boebert had no intelligent response to Goldman.

Here’s the video:

GED Queen Lauren Boebert Gets Flayed Online After Complaining About LGBTQ Teachers

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is a bigoted sack of shit. It’s really that simple.

Need proof? Consider:

In July of last year, Boebert said the Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade was no big deal for LGBTQ Americans because they can’t have children, remarking:

“I’m sorry, but if you’re not able to have a child, how does [the repeal of Roe vs. Wade] actually impact you?”

And in November, in the wake of a mass shooting at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs, Boebert tried to express sympathy for the same people she had previously accused of “grooming” children.

“The news out of Colorado Springs is absolutely awful. This morning the victims & their families are in my prayers. This lawless violence needs to end and end quickly.”

Now Bobo is attacking LGBTQ teachers. Why? Because she’s a intolerant asshat.

“Growing up, I don’t recall teachers announcing their marital status & pronouns to everyone.

“They’re there to educate.

How is this still a complaint of the Left?”

That was all it took for Twitter to hit Boebert with a massive dose of internet karma.

Lauren Boebert Mocked For Vowing To ‘Never Attend’ A Global Economic Forum She Wasn’t Invited To

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) thought she’d let the world know that she doesn’t plan to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, proudly making her announcement on Twitter.

What Boebert neglected to mention is that the Davos forum is by invitation only and she wasn’t invited in the first place.

That was all it took to set off a wave of online mockery, with many mentioning things they would never do.
