WATCH Jim Jordan Get Brutally Fact-Checked On Live TV When He Lies About Hunter Biden

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) tried to continue lying about Hunter Biden and was brutally fact-checked to his face by a CNN correspondent who reminded him that he was lying.

Just last week, Jordan’s top “whistleblower,” Alexander Smirnov, was arrested and charged with lying to the FBI after he admitted that he had indeed given Republican lawmakers information that came directly from Russian intelligence.

But despite those damning facts, Jordan told CNN’s Manu Raju he still had enough evidence to impeach President Joe Biden.

“It doesn’t change the four fundamental facts,” Jordan insisted. “Hunter Biden was put on the board of Burisma, gets paid $1 million a year. Fact No. 2, he’s not qualified to be on the board — he said so himself in an interview, I don’t know, with you or some network. Fact No. 3, [Mykola] Zlochevsky and [Vadym] Pozharsky, the two executives at Burisma, specifically asked Hunter Biden, ‘Can you weigh in with D.C. and help us deal with the pressure we are facing from the prosecutor?’ Fact No. 4, Joe Biden, then he gets called, Hunter Biden calls his dad, according to Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s business partner. Joe Biden then goes to Ukraine three days later and conditions the release of the money, American tax money, on the firing of the prosecutor who was applying the pressure to the company that Hunter Biden sat on the board of.”

“You said the 1023 [report] is the most corroborating piece of information you had,” Raju countered, referring to an FBI report that House Republicans have been citing since they began their wild goose hunt.

“It corroborates,” Jordan insisted, “but it doesn’t change those fundamental facts.”

That’s when Raju did an instant fact check on Jordan.

“Well, it’s not true,” he told the Ohio Republican.

Republicans have absolutely no proof that President Biden did anything wrong. They’re just trying to run interference for Donald Trump, who has been charged with 91 crimes and faces the rest of his life behind bars.

Nice try, Jim, but you’re full of crap.

Ted Cruz And Jim Jordan Could Be Toast If SCOTUS Rules Trump Is An Insurrectionist

As failed one-term former president Donald Trump waits to see what happens with the U.S. District Court of Appeals for Washington, D.C. regarding whether or not he can legally be removed from the ballot in the upcoming election, there are two other key Republicans who are also wondering what could happen to them if the Supreme Court winds up taking the case and rules that Trump is indeed an insurrectionist.

Those two members of the GOP are Rep. Jim Jordan (OH) and Sen. Ted Cruz (TX), according to an illuminating article from MSNBC opinion writer and editor Hayes Brown.

Brown notes that over 200 members of Congress signed on to an amicus brief that supports Trump.

While the GOP lawmakers’ amicus brief is better drafted than most of Trump’s filings, it can’t be ignored that there’s a deeply self-serving element to their arguments. That’s especially true for those members who, under the Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling, could also credibly be described as having ‘engaged in insurrection’ — and thus theoretically be disqualified from holding office.

The deepest fears of federal elected officials such as Cruz and Jordan can be found in one specific section of the brief, which pulls the curtain back on what everyone who played a role in January 6 fears most, Brown adds.

The self-interested lawmakers give up the game with this line from the brief: ‘Although not directly relevant to President Trump, the Colorado Supreme Court would give itself the power to judge the qualifications of those who would be elected to the House or Senate.’ That would be especially troubling for Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs of Arizona. The three of them were knee-deep in plotting to overturn the election, and, in a more just world, they would have faced expulsion for violating Section 3. It’s their inclusion as signatories on the amicus brief that makes this filing particularly odious.

Cruz was one of the prime figures who urged others in the GOP to join the brief.

The members who directly aided Trump’s efforts are especially interested in this case, but the effort to file the brief was led in the House by Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., and in the Senate by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas. Cruz’s participation is worth a side-eye given that he led the charge among Senate Republicans in challenging electoral votes in states where Trump called President-elect Joe Biden’s victory fraudulent. He also pitched a 10-day electoral commission to investigate the nonexistent fraud and potentially give state legislatures time to change their electoral slates as Trump would prefer. He never endorsed Trump’s wildest conspiracy theories, but he was caught on audio hoping Biden’s win would be reversed.

So if the Supreme Court decides that Trump can be removed from ballots, Cruz, Jordan, and others who took part in the plot to overturn the 2020 election could soon find they’ve been excluded from running or serving in any federal post, too. And that would be devastating to the GOP, which is quickly becoming known as the party of insurrection.

Hunter Biden Just Beat Comer And Jordan At Their Own Game

When Hunter Biden showed up on Wednesday in response to a congressional subpoena, some House Republicans thought they had just won a major victory over the president’s son and now had the upper hand in their impeachment inquiry.

But it now appears that the actual victor was Hunter Biden himself, and it’s likely that the GOP won’t be able to charge him with contempt of Congress.

According to CNN legal analyst Norm Eisen, Reps. James Comer (R-KY) and Jim Jordan (R-OH) walked right into a carefully constructed trap set by Hunter Biden and his attorney, Abbe Lowell.

Eisen explained on Twitter/X.

Contempt? Not so fast, Eisen continues.

In other words, House Republicans can make all the referrals for contempt to the Justice Department they want, but none of them will be pursued by the DOJ because they clearly didn’t conduct their investigation in a legal fashion, meaning their subpoena has no power and cannot be enforced, no matter what “facts” they present.

So for now, it appears to be game, set, and match for Hunter Biden, who just so happens to have a law degree from Yale and one of the best legal teams in Washington.

Meanwhile, on the GOP side you have Jim Jordan, who never took the bar exam and James Comer, who is financially and legally compromised in all sorts of ways.

Well played, Hunter. Well played indeed.

Jim Jordan Mocked For His ‘Hypocritical’ Remarks About Hunter Biden Ignoring A Subpoena

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is furious that Hunter Biden is refusing to comply with a subpoena from his committee for testimony as part of the GOP’s impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

On Wednesday, Jordan posted this on Twitter/X:

That’s pretty rich (not to mention incredibly hypocritical) considering that Jordan himself obstructed Congress by refusing to testify before the House Select Committee that investigated the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol. The committee subpoenaed Jordan, but he has yet to sit for a sworn deposition.

It didn’t take long before Jordan was relentlessly mocked and reminded of his own history as a scofflaw.

Jim Jordan Tries To Attack Joe Biden And It Comes Back To Bite Him (And Trump) Right On The A*s

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) wants us all to know that the families of political figures should never ever profit from public service.

Yes, you read that correctly. Jordan is attacking President Joe Biden because he claims his son, Hunter, benefitted financially as a result of his dad serving as vice president and now as head of state.

Jordan made his remarks during an appearance on Fox News, commenting, “When you do something that benefits your family financially and you’re a public official, that’s not supposed to happen.”

Where in the hell was Jordan’s outrage when Ivanka and Jared Kushner were making a mint while serving in the Trump administration?

The Hill reported in 2021 that the two didn’t just make a little money while members of the White House inner circle. They made enough to start their own country if they wanted.

Former White House advisors Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner made as much as $640 million during their time in the Trump administration, according to an analysis by a government watchdog group.

The Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) found the couple earned anywhere between $172 million and $640 million in outside income, according to their financial disclosures.

The daughter and son-in-law of former President Trump both pledged to forego government salaries in an attempt to sidestep concerns over nepotism. But CREW’s review shows the couple, like Trump, still earned considerable sums from the Trump Hotel in Washington.

$640 million! But we’re supposed to be outraged that Hunter Biden made a few million for consulting? As social media users noted, there’s hypocrisy and then there’s Republican hypocrisy channeled through the imminently corrupt Jim Jordan.
