Marjorie Taylor Greene Forced To Admit The GOP Doesn’t Have Evidence To Impeach Biden

Ever since they took control of the House of Representatives, Republicans have been desperately trying to come up with a reason to file articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden, suggesting that he accepted bribes from Ukrainian companies or was involved in illegal business deals his son, Hunter, made over the years.

But while members of the GOP have made all sorts of wild allegations against Biden, they’ve yet to come up with a shred of evidence and their hearings have resulted in little more than hours of humiliation for them and their entire party.

And now we have one of the most devoted Biden haters, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), admitting on Fox that there aren’t enough votes to impeach the president, which pretty much puts that Republican plan in the proverbial grave.

Speaking with Fox host Maria Bartiromo today, Greene was asked, “Do you feel you have enough votes in the membership to actually impeach Joe Biden?”

The congresswoman replied:

“I don’t think we’re quite there yet, Maria, just to be honest with you. But I hope that the amount of overwhelming evidence that has come out and continues to pour out will convince those members that are still on the fence.”

If Greene and her right-wing extremist colleagues have “overwhelming evidence,” what are they waiting for? They’re waiting for something that actually qualifies as evidence instead of the hearsay and innuendo they’ve been peddling for almost a year now.

Greene then added, “And Maria, to be honest with you, I’m so thankful you’re covering this issue because it’s been a full blackout from the mainstream media. And these members that still aren’t quite there to be able to vote for an inquiry need to hear from their people back home in their districts.”

Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero. That’s what Republicans have when it comes to their impeachment dreams. The only reason they even talk about the subject is because they know their lord and savior, Donald Trump, was impeached twice and they can’t stand the fact that will be in the first paragraph of his obituary.

We’re not there is another way of saying, We don’t have shit, but we can’t stop talking about the subject. It’s the only thing we’ve done since we won the 2022 midterm election and we’re hoping no one will notice come 2024.
