While Tuesday was the first time failed former president Donald Trump has faced any real legal jeopardy, he’s about to feel like entire world is crashing down on top of him in the coming weeks, according to MSNBC host Rachel Maddow.
During a panel discussion on Maddow’s show Tuesday evening, fellow MSNBC host Joy Reid noted that the first hearing for the Manhattan case Trump was arraigned for will come in December, right as the race for the 2024 race is getting going.
Maddow concurred, adding, “I mean, next week’s got the deposition in the quarter billion dollar civil fraud case that Letitia James has brought against him. That is next week. After that is the Fox News Dominion trials — which is going to be a week’s worth of testimony about how all the most famous right-wingers in the country think that he is a dork.”
“And a week after that is the E. Jean Carroll trial, in which he is accused of both rape and defamation,” Maddow continued.
Alex Wagner said that Trump also has to be watching developments in Georgia, where Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis could soon be announcing indictments in the matter of Donald’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election.
Clearly, the Ides of March don’t have anything on April, which could wind up being the worst month of Donald Trump’s life.
