Literally nothing is going right for failed one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump, as was proven Monday evening when a massive racketeering indictment was handed down by a grand jury in the state of Georgia, charging Trump and his 18 co-conspirators with trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Former President Donald Trump and top allies, including his lawyer Rudy Giuliani and his former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, and a top former Justice Department official, Jeffrey Clark, were indicted Monday on felony charges in connection with efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia.
The sweeping 41-count indictment also names lawyers John Eastman, Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro, Jenna Ellis and Ray Smith, along with several others. All were charged with violating Georgia’s RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization) act.
In an indictment handed up to the judge around 9 p.m. and made public just before 11 p.m., Trump was charged with felony racketeering and numerous conspiracy charges, court filings show.
That led former Fox host Kimberly Guilfoyle to seek out a sympathetic right-wing media network where she could try and stanch the PR bleeding. She found one in Newsmax, but her remarks wound up making it sound like her future father-in-law was little more than a mafia don.
“It’s a disaster and it’s a sham. She’s (Fulton Co. DA Fani Willis) really using this for her own political purposes and advancements and fundraising off of this. She’s one of four sham. You know, investigations and indictments. They, you know, jumped the shark and released on the docket, actually, the indictment before it even came out. And then she had to do the dog and pony show. You know, last night, it’s just absolutely ridiculous. And John Gott, okay? Can you imagine RICO? Okay, violations John Gotti never even had four. Or indictments at once. There’s no mob boss, let alone they do this to President Trump because they’re worried that they can’t beat him in the ballot box in 2024, and they want to go ahead and use this lawfare weaponized the system against Joe Biden’s primary political opponent.”
Donald Trump and John Gotti. Those aren’t exactly two names you want to use in the same sentence, even if you’re trying to make a point, if only because it places the two in people’s minds as being the same sort of person.
Guilfoyle’s remarks drew lots of laughter on social media. Here’s a few of the comments from Facebook:
