Jim Jordan Gets Lit Up Online For His Bizarre Fire Emoji Tweet Defending Donald Trump

The Twitter account belonging to the House Judiciary Committee — which is chaired by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) — sent out a bizarre tweet Tuesday which defended failed former president Donald Trump, who is expected to be indicted sometime this week by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for illegal hush money payments the ex-president made to Stormy Daniels in order to hide an affair he had with her.

Here’s the tweet:

As HuffPost notes, other Twitter users weren’t quite sure what to make of the posting.

Some critics laughed at the idea of an account apparently run by Jordan endorsing his own quote.

Others edited the message, suggesting it could have stopped after three words: “We don’t think.”

Many just marveled at the use of burning emojis.

The tweet did serve on purpose: It set off a wave of hilarious mockery that echoed across social media.
