Lauren Boebert May Be Charged With A Sex Crime Under Colorado’s Lewdness Statute

Rep. Lauren Boebert’s lewd behavior at a Denver theater performance of a musical last week may soon result in her being charged with a sex crime under Colorado law.

According to Newsweek:

Colorado law states that public indecency is committed when a person performs certain acts in a public place, or in a place where the public is likely to see, including lewdly fondling or caressing another individual. Sexual intercourse; lewd exposure of the body but not the genitalia, with the intent to arouse or satisfy a sexual desire; and knowingly exposing one’s genitals to the view of another, under the circumstances in which such conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm, are considered public indecency, as well.

According to statute 18-7-301 of the Colorado criminal code, public indecency is a petty offense sex crime punishable by fines and up to six months in prison for more serious offenses. It tends to carry lighter penalties, though, such as 10 days in jail and/or up to $300 fines, in addition to potential probation, community service or mandatory counseling.

Boebert and her date were caught on video sexually fondling each other, with the man grabbing at her breasts while the congresswoman placed her hand on his crotch.

Does their behavior fall under the Colorado statute? Possibly, but Denver defense attorney Matthew Hand says the indecency law is “vague and overreaching.”

“To be blunt, not all intimacy is intercourse, and lewdness is in the eye of the beholder.”

Even if Boebert isn’t formally charged, the political price she’ll have to pay may be the final straw in what was already projected to be difficult reelection bid for the Colorado Republican, with polls showing her losing favor among voters in her district.

Ironically, Boebert’s ex-husband was convicted of a sex crime in 2004 after he exposed his penis to two underage girls in bowling alley.

In January 2004, when Jayson Boebert was 24, he was arrested for exposing himself to two young women at a Colorado bowling alley. His future wife Lauren Roberts (as she was then known), who was 17 at the time, was also present and was told she was no longer welcome at the bowling alley.

Jayson Boebert pled guilty to “public indecency and lewd exposure” after that incident, according to The New York Post, and was sentenced to four days in jail with a subsequent two years on probation.

No wonder Lauren fell in love with Jayson, huh?

John Fetterman Burns Marjorie Taylor Greene Down After She Whines About His Wardrobe

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) masterfully swatted down Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) this morning after she fired off a hateful tweet aimed at him on Sunday.

Here’s what Greene tweeted out:

What does it matter if Fetterman wears jeans and a hoodie instead of a suit and tie? Some of the biggest douchebags in the Senate (i.e. Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley) always wear a suit, but they also try to overturn the will of the voters and invalidate an election as they smugly sit and adjust their ties.

Also, Margie is in no position to complain about how anyone dresses considering that she often looks like her outfits came from the markdown rack at Walmart.

Fetterman only needed a single sentence to put Greene in her place:

“Thankfully, the nation’s lower chamber lives by a higher code of conduct: displaying ding-a-ling pics in public hearings.”

Fetterman is referring to Greene showing nude photos of Hunter Biden during a House hearing in July:

“Displaying a pornographic image of Hunter Biden, Greene continued:

“So when Hunter Biden paid for this woman to do this with him, to travel across state lines from California to Washington, DC, on June 15th, this is a violation of the Mann Act. This was prostitution.”

“Greene then added, ‘This is evidence of Hunter Biden making sex, excuse me, this is my time, making pornography.'”

Others joined Fetterman in swatting down Margie.

The House dropped the bar on the ground when they let MTG in!

Jake Tapper Asks Mike Pence: Did You Betray Your Faith By Defending Trump’s ‘Ungodly’ Actions?

CNN host Jake Tapper confronted former vice president Mike Pence on Sunday, asking if he thought he betrayed his faith with his willingness to defend and justify the actions of his ex-boss, Donald Trump.

Quoting comments from Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), who told the Atlantic he didn’t understand how Pence could excuse the things Trump did and said, Tapper asked:

“The profile appeared in the Atlantic where Republican Senator Mitt Romney is quoted saying that when it comes to your actions as Donald Trump’s vice president nobody had been quote ‘More willing to smile when he saw absurdities, more willing to ascribe God’s will to things that were ungodly than Mike Pence,’ unquote.”

“What do you say to that, do you think you used your faith to justify ungodly things as vice president, as Mitt Romney believes?”

Clearly perturbed by Romney’s remarks, Pence replied:

“Look, Mitt Romney has no idea what I was doing in the administration,” Pence said. “I haven’t talked to Mitt Romney for years.”

“And I think he can go off into retirement,” he continued. “He’s even critical of his old running mate Paul Ryan in the pages of that book. So I know the stands that we took, I know the stands that we maintained and I’ll always believe that we were called to that fight.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWE2_T2wg_M

What “fight” were Trump and Pence called to? The one that resulted in appointing Supreme Court justices who have decided American women don’t have a right to make their own reproductive choices?

Or was the fight to cut taxes for the richest Americans, who, according to Pence’s Bible, have an almost impossible path to heaven?

Or could the real fight be Trump and Pence’s sick desire for power at any cost, no matter how many have to suffer?

Mike Pence is a fake Christian who deserves to spend eternity in the hell he’s so afraid of.

Boebert Fake Apologizes For Her Lewd ‘Beetlejuice’ Behavior – Blames It On Her Divorce

Having been caught vaping, felt up, and attempting to give her boyfriend a hand job during a performance of the play “Beetlejuice” in Denver, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is now issuing a fake apology to try and minimize the political fallout that has begun and could well cost her the 2024 election.

The Guardian reports that Boebert issued a statement in which she tried to blame her recent divorce for acting like a horny teen out on a date for the first time.

“The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I’m truly sorry for the unwanted attention my Sunday evening in Denver has brought to the community,” Boebert said in the apology, as reported by the Colorado Sun.

Boebert added that her “public and difficult divorce” has created a “challenging personal time for me and my entire family”.

“I’ve tried to handle it with strength and grace as best I can, but I simply fell short of my values on Sunday,” Boebert said.

When the story first broke on Tuesday, Boebert suggested she had done nothing wrong, writing on Twitter:

“It’s true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud!

“Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week and please let me know how it ends!”

Laughing and singing too loud? How about the groping, tit grabbing, and junk rubbing, Bobo?

And yet, this is the same woman who tells us drag performers are a threat to children.

Nancy Pelosi Uses A Hilarious Hand Gesture To Express Her Disgust With Kevin McCarthy

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made it clear Wednesday evening exactly what she thinks about how Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is running things in the lower chamber of Congress, and the hand gesture she used to express herself set off laughter on social media.

Speaking with Anderson Cooper, Pelosi noted that the only reason McCarthy agreed to open an impeachment inquiry aimed at President Joe Biden is because he is so terrified of losing the Speaker’s gavel that he has given into every demand made of him by GOP extremists.

“You have to impeach the president or else we’re going to vacate the chair of speaker,” Pelosi said. “You have to shut down government or else we’re going to vacate the chair of speaker. This is not responsible governance, but it’s the chaos on the Republican side.”

Cooper asked if that doesn’t put McCarthy in what can best be called an “impossible situation.”

“Yeah. The incredibly shrinking speakership.”

As she made the comment, Pelosi also made a gesture with her hand that suggested either something being crushed or shriveling up, much like the so-called speakership of Kevin McCarthy.

It didn’t take long for Twitter users to express their delight.

Here’s the full Cooper-Pelosi interview:
