New York Fraud Ruling Could Lead To Don, Don Jr., And Eric Losing Their Homes: Report

Based on a hearing held today in a New York court, it seems that former president Donald Trump and his two oldest sons, Don Jr. and Eric, could soon be without a place to live if the judge overseeing the case decides to sell their homes in order to pay off a $250 million dollar fine being requested by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Business Insider reports that real estate in the form of residences was one of the issues before New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, who was asked if the Trump homes were on the table.

“I’m not prepared to make a ruling at this time,” Engoron told Trump’s lawyers with a slight smile, shifting the focus of the hearing instead on more mundane matters of pre-trial logistics.

At stake is what assets belonging to Trump, his sons, and the Trump Organization are subject to be liquidation. Would it only be business properties, or are homes included, too?

But there was no guidance on how dissolution will work in a multi-billion-dollar organization whose assets include not just interests in skyscrapers – such as Trump Tower in Manhattan, where Trump Org is based, and a ground lease in 40 Wall Street – but home addresses, too.

“Certain of the entities, entities that own physical assets like Trump Tower and 40 Wall – is the court under the impression that those are to be sold or are they to be managed under the monitor?” Trump attorney Chris Kise asked Engoron. 

It was at this point the judge said he was not yet prepared to make a ruling.

Kise asked, “Which entities are covered here? You have New York entities that just own a house or a townhouse. Maybe Don Jr. ‘s or Eric’s residence… are those covered?” 

Engoron said any decision on those questions would have to wait.

Imagine, for just a moment, the ex-president having to sell his penthouse condo at Trump Tower and also being ordered to put his Mar-a-Lago resort up for sale. Where would the Donald live? We he be forced to move in with Ivanka and Jared? Or would he have to try and find a new location in Florida to use as his residence?

One thing is clear: There’s about to be a massive fire sale at the Trump Organization, and when it’s all over with, Donald and members of his family may not have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of.

Biden’s New Campaign Ad Will Enrage The Notoriously Thin-Skinned Mar-a-Lago Resident

A new ad from the Biden for President campaign is absolutely guaranteed to piss off failed one-term, twice-impeached, and four-time indicted former president Donald Trump, if only because it uses video clips of Trump looking a hell of a lot fatter than the 215 lbs. he claimed when he was booked in Georgia last month.

Mediate reports the ad will run in Michigan, where Biden stood with striking auto workers on Tuesday, telling them:

“The fact of the matter is that you guys, the UAW, you saved the auto industry back in 2008 and before. Made a lot of sacrifices. Gave up a lot and companies were in trouble. But now they’re doing incredibly well. And guess what? You should be doing incredibly well, too.” 

“You deserve what you’ve earned, and you’ve earned a hell of a lot more than you’re getting paid now,” he said. 

The ad, entitled “Delivers,” features shots of Trump playing golf and looking like a beached whale, along with voice-over narration that notes, “He says he stands with autoworkers. But as President, Donald Trump passed tax breaks for his rich friends while automakers shuttered their plants, and Michigan, lost manufacturing jobs.”

The narrator continues:

Joe Biden said he’d stand up for workers and he’s delivering. Passing laws that are increasing wages and creating good paying jobs.

Manufacturing is coming back to Michigan because Joe Biden doesn’t just talk, he delivers. I’m Joe Biden and I approve this message.

According to Kevin Munoz, Biden-Harris 2024 Campaign Spokesperson, the ad is meant to highlight how Trump has repeatedly screwed over working men and women:

“He can’t hide his anti-labor, anti-jobs record from the countless American workers he’s let down. This election will be a choice between President Biden’s real advocacy for working Americans and a rerun of billionaire Donald Trump’s broken promises to the middle class.”

How long do you suppose it’ll be before Trump begins whining on his failing Truth Social site in response to “Delivers”? And what can he possibly say since he has a record of not paying contractors who worked for him?

Donald Trump is a spoiled little rich kid turned degenerate old man who has never worked a day in his life and had the fortune he’s squandered away handed to him on a platinum platter. He’s such a scumbag that he allegedly stole from a children’s cancer charity.

Despite that, Trump will likely act aggrieved in response to the Biden ad and tell more lies in an attempt to cover up his own record.

AOC Only Needs 3 Words To Troll Kevin McCarthy For His Latest Budget Demands

With a government shutdown now seeming more likely with each passing day, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is demanding that President Joe Biden agree to meet with him and “renegotiate” the debt ceiling budget deal they reached in June, mainly because McCarthy is under pressure from right-wing hardliners in his caucus who are insisting that federal spending for the neediest Americans be slashed to the bone.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is urging the president not to agree to any meeting with McCarthy, and she also had some choice words for the Speaker that have gone viral.

On Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez wrote:

“McCarthy already got his meeting w/ Biden and they struck a deal to keep gov open months ago. GOP held the entire US gov hostage in exchange for cuts & forced restart of student loan payments.

“Deal is done. Biden held his end. Nothing to relitigate. McCarthy can go pound sand.”

Hey, Kev: Go pound sand.

Later in the day Tuesday, Ocasio-Cortez added a jab about “boy math” to counter a meme that circulated online over the summer referencing “girl math.”

“Boy math is needing 15 attempts to count the votes correctly to become Speaker and then shutting down the government 9 months later.”

The 15 votes refers to the ballots needed to elect McCarthy as speaker, a position he holds ever-so tenuously and could lose at any moment.

It remains to be seen if McCarthy can indeed procure the votes he needs to pass any legislation whatsoever, especially since the GOP has such a narrow margin in the House of Representatives.

The federal government will be shuttered on October 1 if the Speaker cannot cobble together an agreement. Considering that McCarthy is the weakest, most feckless House leader in history, there’s no need to be optimistic a deal will be struck.

Stephen King Gives ‘Jimmy’ Jordan A Brutal Fact-Check On The Issue Of Crime

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) got supremely swatted down by best-selling author Stephen King on the issue of crime, and the result was perfectly on-point, especially since Jordan’s party is on the verge of shutting down the federal government to pretend they’re doing something other than wasting time and taxpayer money on bogus investigations.

On Tuesday, Jordan took the House Judiciary Committee on the road, to the city of Chicago so Republicans could grandstand and claim Democrats are to blame for all of the crime taking place in the United States.

After the hearing, Jordan posted this on Twitter:

That led King to respond with a pointed reminder of what’s actually behind the rise in violent crime.

For example, consider the issue of mass shootings in the U.S., which are increasing rapidly in 2023, according to a recent report from the BBC.

There have been more than 470 mass shootings across the US so far this year, according to the Gun Violence Archive, which defines a mass shooting as an incident in which four or more people are injured or killed. Their figures include shootings that happen in homes and in public places.

For each of the last three years there have been more than 600 mass shootings – almost two a day on average.

How can anyone blame those numbers on any political party or ideology? It’s the proliferation of guns that makes it easier for gun crimes to take place. Fewer guns would mean fewer deaths, much the same way fewer cars on highways reduces the number of fatal auto accidents. That’s just common sense.

Even worse is the fact that Jordan has no solutions to the problem he’s trying to blame on others. He’s just trying to make political hay while more people die of gunshot wounds each and every day in this country

The terror found in Stephen King’s novels is no match for the craven and heartless posturing from mindless, self-serving political hacks like Jim Jordan and his ilk.

Manhattan Discovery List Suggests Donald Trump Fathered An Illegitimate Child

 

If you take a close look at the discovery list given to attorneys for former President Donald Trump by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, you’ll see a reference to a book alleging that the ex-president fathered an illegitimate child.

That book, MSNBC legal analyst Lisa Rubin notes, is of particular interest since the underlying crimes Trump has been indicted for in Manhattan involve hush money payments he allegedly made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in order to keep her from revealing their affair.

Rubin explained what she thinks the book about the possible Trump love child has to do with Bragg’s case, writing on Twitter, “In New York state, a defendant is entitled to receive all witness testimony before the grand jury and any and all other witness statements provided to the relevant prosecutor’s office. But here, the Manhattan DA’s office also attached this two-page list of books.”

What really caught Rubin’s eye, however, was a book by Dino Sajudin, who worked as a doorman at Trump Tower.

“But what really popped for me was a book by Dino Sajudin, a onetime Trump World Tower doorman who was paid by the National Enquirer’s parent company, American Media, for his story that Trump had a child out of wedlock with a concierge at that building. As the New York Post notes here, Sajudin’s account has been vigorously denied by the woman in question. So is it on the list to show that AMI had a habit of catching and killing stories damaging to Trump? Or for other reasons?”

Rubin continues:

“In any event, I don’t know why Mr. Sajudin’s book is on the Manhattan DA’s discovery list, but I sure would like to find out. Watch this space. p.s. @KatiePhang’s memory FTW: She reminds me the payment to Dino Sajudin — and its mischaracterization in American Media’s books & records — is discussed in the DA’s statement of facts” with a screenshot that you can see below.”

As for the reference to the New York Post article which earlier this year, here’s what it reveals:

Sajudin claims that, when he complained about the concierge at the tower — a Colombian-born woman who, he said, was often rude to residents — he was warned by Trump Organization officials to keep quiet.

“I had to wonder what it was about her that kept her in the tower’s good graces,” Sajudin writes.

He adds that he soon found out that the woman, who is not named in his book, had worked as a housekeeper for the Trump family in the past and was given special treatment as a result.

In addition to taking long lunches and buying “$3,000 handbags and $500 shoes” at Bergdorf, the concierge allegedly pushed everyone around, including top Trump executives.

Trump and his attorneys have denied the former president had any affairs with employees and called the Post report “fake news.”
