Giuliani’s ‘Voluntary’ Testimony To DOJ Means He’s ‘Trying To Make A Deal’ With Jack Smith: Legal Expert

Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City mayor and personal attorney to failed ex-president Donald Trump, gave “voluntary” testimony to federal investigators who are working for Justice Department Special Counsel Jack Smith and looking into efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

NBC News reports that a spokesperson for Giuliani confirmed the former mayor did indeed agreed to talk with prosecutors working for Smith.

“The appearance was entirely voluntary and conducted in a professional manner,” the spokesman, Ted Goodman, said in a statement after CNN first reported on Giuliani’s meeting with investigators.

But why would Giuliani be so cooperative and agree to speak with the special counsel’s office? According to former U.S. attorney and legal expert Harry Litman, it’s a sign that Rudy is ready to roll over on the Donald.

During an appearance on MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” today, Litman was asked by host Nicolle Wallace, “What does it mean that his folks are saying he went in ‘entirely voluntarily.'”

Litman replied:

“I think it’s dissembling at best.”

He added, “Giuliani is waist deep in everything after the election, but he is neck deep in the false electors.”

“He and Trump together badger (former Arizona House Speaker) Rusty Bowers. He goes down to Georgia and tells a whole pack of lies and he is exactly where Smith is otherwise in the investigation, talking to (Georgia Secretary of State Brad) Raffensperger and the like,” Litman noted.

“Here’s what it means,” Litman said. “(Giuliani) has gone in with a proffer. That means he has given information but under circumstances where they won’t hold it against him. They’ll just evaluate whether they want him, want him for what, and give him immunity or an easy deal.”

“And then what he is giving in exchange has to be information about Donald Trump.”

As for the “voluntarily” part, Litman noted, “So this proffer, yes, he didn’t doesn’t have to do it. You could call it voluntary in that way, but don’t think that he’s like a good citizen just finally getting this off his chest. He’s trying to cut a deal and he knows the time is very short.”

Sounds like Rudy is ready to toss Donnie under the bus to save his own hide.

Rick Wilson Brutally Trolls Trump In Hilarious Video: ‘Just Doing A Wellness Check On You’

Former Republican strategist Rick Wilson has a very important message for failed one-term, twice-impeached and multiply indicted ex-president Donald Trump: Things are going bad, but they’re going to get so much worse.

Wilson shared his message with the world on Twitter with what he dubbed a “wellness check” video for the disgraced former president, and the sarcastic commentary is guaranteed to enrage Donnie if and when he sees it.

“Hey Donald, it’s Rick,” the video begins.

“I’m just doing a wellness check on you know, I know you’ve had a really bad weekend, you had a bad day yesterday and you’re having a bad day today. I just wanna make sure you’re okay buddy, honestly,” Wilson says, placing his hand over his heart like a concerned friend.

From there, Wilson addresses the situation in Russia, where Trump’s BFF, Vladimir Putin, faced one hell of a crisis last week.

“Over the weekend you saw your friend Vladimir Putin basically sign his own death warrant by showing weakness, and no dictator can show weaknesses, as you know. He will be dead before the 2024 election cycle most likely, and you won’t have your sugar daddy, oops.”

As for the Monday release of audio featuring Trump admitting on tape that he broke the law with the classified documents he stole from the White House, Wilson notes, “Second thing, last night when CNN released that audio of you bragging about your crime, of you admitting on tape – again – that you were flashing classified documents around and you didn’t have the authority to classify them as a former president. Chef’s kiss, buddy.”

Wilson concludes his hilarious monologue by referencing a ruling handed down earlier today by the Supreme Court which that state legislatures cannot decide what electors are chosen because it would override the will of the voters and circumvent court review.

“And finally today, the Supreme Court ruled against you. The independent state legislatures thing was a longtime conservative product that they were trying to put together to help the GOP and your justices ruled against it.

“Congrats Don, you’re having a bad week and by the way, it’s about to get worse.”

Wilson’s video is quickly going viral, with 155,00 views in less than three hours on Twitter. Feel free to give it a share and let’s see if we can boost it to a million by this time tomorrow.

DOJ ‘Likely’ To Indict Trump’s ‘Whole Criminal Gang’ For Jan. 6: Harvard Law Professor

Even though he’s already on the hook for 37 criminal counts handed down by a grand jury empaneled by Justice Department Special Counsel Jack Smith as a result of his mishandling classified documents, failed former president Donald Trump and those who helped him plan and carry out the January 6, 2021 Capitol insurrection are also likely to face serious charges for their role in what transpired that day, according to Harvard University Professor Emeritus Laurence Tribe.

Tribe’s comments came a day after a report from the Washington Post that Smith’s team of investigators will be traveling to the state of Georgia on Wednesday to interview Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who was pressured by Trump to “fine” nearly 12,000 votes so he could be declared winner in the Peach State.

“This would be Raffensperger’s first interview with the Justice Department.

“The Justice Department’s investigation of efforts by Donald Trump and his advisers to overturn the 2020 election results is barreling forward on multiple tracks, according to people familiar with the matter, with prosecutors focused on ads and fundraising pitches claiming election fraud as well as plans for ‘fake electors’ that would swing the election to the incumbent president.”

A main focus of Smith’s ongoing investigation, the Post notes, “is the conduct of a handful of lawyers who sought to turn Trump’s defeat into victory by trying to convince state, local, federal and judicial authorities that Joe Biden’s 2020 election win was illegitimate or tainted by fraud.”

The attorneys in question are Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, John Eastman, Kurt Olsen, Kenneth Chesebro, and Jeffrey Clark, according to the Post.

In response to the report and a tweet from New York University School of Law professor of law Ryan Goodman, Tribe wrote, “This tells me Smith is likely to ask a grand jury to indict the whole criminal gang that conspired to overturn the presidential election and overthrow the government. That includes Trump at the wheel’s center and his corrupt fellow seditionists and insurrectionists as its spokes.”

It will also be interesting to see if Special Counsel Smith decides to indict any Republican members of Congress who allegedly played a role in Jan. 6. Among those who are known to have been active in the Capitol insurrection are Reps. Andy Biggs of Arizona, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, and Matt Gaetz of Florida.

Will Smith make a clean sweep and get all of the co-conspirators? If he does, the country would be a hell of a lot safer as a result.

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg Subpoenas Melania Trump’s Emails In Hush Money Case

As the federal criminal case against him continues to expand a provide revelations on an almost daily basis (i.e. a new tape), the hush money fraud case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg against failed former president Donald Trump now includes the ex-first lady, Melania Trump.

According to the Associated Press, Bragg wants to see Melania’s email communications.

The second subpoena concerns emails exchanged among Trump Organization employees and the White House, as well as severance and confidentiality agreements for key figures in Trump’s company. Prosecutors are also seeking emails between Trump’s wife, Melania, and Rhona Graff, a longtime company executive.

Trump pleaded not guilty in April to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. The charges relate to hush-money payments made during the 2016 campaign to bury allegations that Trump had extramarital sexual encounters. He has denied wrongdoing.

While spousal privilege would likely keep Mrs. Trump from having to testify against her husband, her emails could provide a window into the alleged fraud he’s accused of in Manhattan.

The disgraced former president is also facing federal charges for his mishandling of classified documents and may also be charged for his role in the January 6, 2021 Capitol insurrection.

Additionally, Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis is expected to hand down indictments against Trump as soon as August for his role in trying to illegally overturn the results of the 2020 election in the Peach State.

Alex Jones: Trump Knows He’ll Be Assassinated If He Wins In 2024, But Is ‘Ready To Die’ For The Country

Extreme right-wing podcaster and agitator Alex Jones has a prediction if failed one-term, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump happens to win the 2024 election: He’ll be killed by the “deep state.”

That doesn’t bother Trump, Jones says, because he’s “ready to die” for the country.

On his show Saturday evening, Jones said, “And then I think they’ll blow his airplane up. I really, at a gut level, believe they’re going to kill Trump. I mean, I believe the deep state establishment will murder him… he dies of a heart attack, or they poison him, or they blow his airplane up.”

Jones added:

“And Trump, by the way, has talked to Roger and others and said, I’m ready to die. It’s a death battle.”

Of course, Jones conveniently neglected to mention that Trump retains his Secret Service protection since leaving office and will be given an even larger security team if he happens to win in 2024.

None of this over-the-top rhetoric should surprise anyone who’s familiar with the outrageous things Jones has said over the years, some of which have cost him millions of dollars in legal judgements.

For example:

In a 2013 broadcast, Jones warned that “of course there’s weather weapon stuff going on,” according to a transcript produced by Media Matters, a left-leaning watchdog organization. “We had floods in Texas like fifteen years ago, killed thirty-something people in one night. Turned out it was the Air Force.”

“The reason there’s so many gay people now is because it’s a chemical warfare operation, and I have the government documents where they said they’re going to encourage homosexuality with chemicals so that people don’t have children,” he said on his broadcast in 2010, according to NBC News.

You can watch the latest craziness from Jones at this link.
