Proving for the ten millionth time that he cares only about himself and the rest of us are irrelevant to him, failed former president Donald Trump said Monday evening that he’s hoping the American economy will “crash” in the next 12 months.
Speaking with Lou Dobbs on Lindell TV — a platform owned by disgraced pillow pusher Mike Lindell — Trump had this to say:
“We have an economy that’s so fragile, and the only reason it’s running now is it’s running off the fumes of what we did. It’s just running off the fumes.”
He added: “And when there’s a crash — I hope it’s going to be during this next 12 months because I don’t want to be Herbert Hoover. The one president I just don’t want to be, Herbert Hoover.”
The multiply-indicted ex-president’s comment drew a strong reaction on social media.
