Donald Trump WTF?!

Trump Gets Busted For Lying About Being ‘Invited’ To Attend The World Series By The MLB Commissioner

Granted, it’s hard to believe, but the always honest (HA!) failed, one-term, twice-impeached Donald Trump has been caught in yet another lie, and this one is about his attendance at Game Four of the World Series, which is being played in Atlanta this evening with the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros battling to be 2021 World Series champions.

In a statement from his Save America PAC on Saturday, here’s what Trump had to say about why he’ll be at the baseball game:

“Looking forward to being at the World Series in Atlanta tonight. Thank you to the Commissioner of Baseball Rob Manfred, and Randy Levine of the great New York Yankees, for the invite. Melania and I are looking forward to a wonderful evening watching two great teams!”

Turns out that’s complete bullshit, according to SNY, a regional sports network located in New York which did a little research and found Trump wasn’t invited by Manfred or Levine.

SNY reports:

This ran counter to a Wednesday report in USA Today, in which Braves CEO Terry McGuirk said, “He called MLB and wanted to come to the game. We were very surprised. Of course, we said yes.”

Levine was not available for comment, but two officials directly involved in the process said that McGuirk’s comments were accurate, and that neither Manfred nor Levine had reached out to extend an invitation.

According to those officials, Trump last week reached out to Manfred through an intermediary to say he would like to attend a game.

Manfred then called Levine, because of common ties to the intermediary. That was the extent of Levine’s involvement.

“[Levine] has nothing to do with who attends a World Series in Atlanta,” said one of the officials.

And this isn’t the first time Trump has used Levine’s name to suggest he’d been invited somewhere he hadn’t:

In July 2020, shortly before director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci threw out the first pitch at the MLB opener, a Yankees/Nationals game in Washington D.C., Trump said he would be doing the same in the Bronx.

“Randy Levine is a great friend of mine from the Yankees,” Trump said at the White House. “And he asked me to throw out the first pitch, and I think I’m doing that on Aug. 15 at Yankee Stadium.”

The Yankees had a general policy that if any high-ranking public official wanted to throw out a first pitch, it would likely happen — but the team had never scheduled the event that Trump claimed. Trump later said that he wouldn’t have been able to make it to Yankees Stadium on Aug. 15, after all.

Lies, lies, and more lies. It’s the only thing you can count on from Donald Trump. After all, this is the same con man who continues to insist he won the state of Georgia and the 2020 presidential election.

Donald Trump is full of bullshit and that’s exactly what he belches out every single time he speaks. You can’t believe a damn thing he says.

New Poll: 65% Of Voters Say Donald Trump Is A Failure As President

To hear Donald Trump tell it, the American people love him and think he’s the greatest president in modern memory.

But two new polls suggest otherwise, with two-thirds of those surveyed saying Trump acted too slowly in response to the coronavirus pandemic and failed to adequately protect the nation from the disease, which has so far killed nearly 42,000 Americans.

The first poll comes from NBC News and The Wall Street Journal, and it has Trump losing badly in a head-to-head contest with Joe Biden. According to the poll, Biden leads the incumbent president 49-42 percent among registered voters. And that alone suggests that Trump has a steep mountain to climb if he wants to win a second term in office.

When it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic, 44 percent of voters say they approve of Trump’s handling of the coronavirus, while 52 percent disapprove in the NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey, which led pollster Jeff Horwitt of Hart Research Associates to note:

“Socially and economically, we have seen a sea change in attitudes in just a month.”

Additionally, only 36 percent of Americans said they trust Trump’s rhetoric on the disease. An overwhelming 52 percent said they do not trust what the president says about coronavirus. So on the single most important crisis Trump has faced, the majority of Americans don’t trust what this president says on the issue.

A separate poll from the nonpartisan Pew Research Center also has terrible news for Trump, with two-thirds (65 percent) of those responding saying the response to COVID-19 by Trump and his administration was too slow. That number is especially troubling for the White House as it proves that the vast majority of American voters feel that Trump has failed in his duties to protect them and the nation. And that means that 65 percent of Americans consider Trump to be a failed president.

Aaron Rupar of Vox noted that while Trump loves to brag about his shutting down travel from China to the United States as saving lives, most Americans aren’t buying that and the facts also suggest otherwise:

“The fact of the matter is the virus was already spreading within US borders by this time, so at best, the travel restrictions bought the federal government time that it didn’t use particularly well.”

The bottom line is that Trump administration was not the least bit prepared for this pandemic. They were a day late and several dollars short. And that alone suggests that voters will take their frustrations out on the incumbent president when the ballots are cast later this year.

Corruption Crime The Trump Adminstration

Michael Avenatti Is About To Bring A World Of Hurt Down On Donald Trump

On Thursday, Michael Avenatti, who serves as the attorney for adult film star Stormy Daniels, was back in court making Donald Trump’s life even more miserable and preparing to serve the president with a big helping of karma.

What is Avenatti trying to do? Well, he says that due to recent developments in the investigation being conducted into Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, and statements made by both Trump and Rudy Giuliani, he should be allowed to move forward with deposing the president in regard to the defamation case his client has filed against Trump.

The filing made by Avenatti, the Washington Post reports, was very specific in its language:

“In Thursday’s court filing, Avenatti said he would agree not to take sworn testimony from Cohen during the 90-day period, but said ‘new facts call into question whether Mr. Cohen’s Fifth Amendment rights relating to the matters at issue in this case are as compelling as previously argued.’

“Instead, Avenatti wants to depose Trump, who he says is not under investigation for his dealings with Stormy Daniels.”

Keep in mind that Trump has been all over the place with his comments on hush money payments made to Daniels. He initially said he knew nothing about the $130,000 paid to her by Cohen, but Giuliani later admitted that the president did know of the payment and repaid Cohen. As Avennati commented when he filed his paperwork for consideration by  U.S. District Judge S. James Otero:

“Mr. Giuliani and Mr. Trump shot themselves in the foot by publicly making statements regarding the issues in our case. We believe the motion is on very solid footing.”

The day before his filing, Avenatti predicted that we should all keep an eye on what is about to happen, saying:

“There’s going to be a considerable amount of fireworks in the coming weeks.”

If Judge Otero does indeed allow for Trump to be deposed by Avenatti, it could well be disastrous for the president. The deposition would be on video, and there’s little doubt that at least portions of the video would leak out. Then Trump would be trying to fight off the growing investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller while intimate details of his sexual habits and perversions are laid bare for the world to see. The embarrassment alone would be devastating for Trump.

Keep a close eye on what happens over the next week or two. We might be watching Avenatti and Daniels help bring an end to the criminal reign of Donald J. Trump.

Ana Navarro: Trump’s Remarks On Virginia Prove He’s Spineless And Gutless (VIDEO)

Former GOP strategist and CNN commentator Ana Navarro has never been a fan of President Trump, and she’s also not afraid to speak her mind, as she proved Saturday evening when she appeared as part of a panel to discuss the day’s events in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Navarro began by saying that she was disgusted by the way Trump repeatedly refuses to condemn white supremacist groups such as those that marched in Virginia, ostensibly to protest the removal of a memorial to the former commander of Confederate forces, Robert E. Lee. Navarro said the president’s speech after the day’s violence–in which he condemned hatred “on many sides” was the final straw:

“This speech today was shameful. Here is the bottom line. This was not many sides. This is one side. It is white supremacists trying to instill terror in America.”

When Trump supporter Ben Ferguson attempted to interrupt Navarro, she shut him down with this:

“Ben, let me tell you something. He’s more capable of calling out his own attorney general and Mitch McConnell but he doesn’t have the spine or the guts to call out the white supremacists in America today and I am not going to defend that!”

Ferguson also tried to say that Trump had condemned the vehicular assault by James Alex Fields Jr., but Navarro was having none of it, accusing the president of sending a “dog whistle” to his most ardent supporters with his line about “many sides” being responsible for the violence.

MSNBC Fact Checked Trump’s Iowa Rally Speech, And It’s Freaking BRILLIANT! (VIDEO)

Wednesday evening, as scandal swirled all around him and his lies increased with every tweet, President Trump went to Iowa for one of his patented victory rallies, even though the election was over seven months ago. Apparently Trump needs to bask in the adoration of his brain dead acolytes whenever visions of impeachment and incarceration become too much to take.

On Thursday morning, the MSNBC show Morning Joe did a two-minute mashup of comments the president made in Iowa, and it was nothing short of perfection. It began when historian Jon Meacham commented on how much Trump looks and acts like a tinpot dictator:

“Even now, in regimes like North Korea, where the dear leader speaks and we’re all supposed to salute, that what the dear leader says has to be followed, whether it’s associated with reality or not, whether it’s grounded in reality or not.”

Then former Bush White House and State Department aide Elise Jordan gave an assessment of Trump supporters and their aversion to truth that should be required reading in every political science class in the United States:

“The empirical evidence is there, (but) the difference is that, I believe that a lot of Trump supporters, his most die-hard supporters, see these as little lies. They see them as lies that don’t matter, whereas, you know, they put up with the political class for so many years that has been lying about big things. You know, President (Barack) Obama saying you can keep your insurance. Now they see it as President Obama was spying on the incoming president’s team. But this is how Trump supporters perceive it.”

And Sam Stein of the Huffington Post made sure and reminded us all that Trump’s lies aren’t harmless; they’re dangerous:

“You have a series of falsehoods peddled at these rallies, and then you combine it with what is objectively a crackdown on the press corps, what’s happening at the White House right now, where you don’t have live briefings, you don’t have audio or video coming from the briefings.”

We cannot rid ourselves of Donald Trump soon enough. Hurry up, impeachment train!

Here’s the fact-check mashup of Donnie’s endless lies:
