Trump: I Was Too Busy Protecting The World From ‘Nuclear Holocaust’ To Have Committed Any Crimes

As he continues to look for ways to avoid spending the remainder of his life behind in a federal or state prison, failed former president Donald Trump is coming up with even more absurd excuses for why he couldn’t have possibly committed any of the crimes he’s accused of being a part of.

Thanks to the release of a deposition in a court filing from New York Attorney General Letitia James, we have the Donald’s latest head shaking bullshit: He was far too busy trying to save the planet from “nuclear holocaust” to have been involved in any criming that might have taken place at his company, the Trump Organization.

Business Insider reports:

In a sworn deposition from this past April, former President Donald Trump told New York officials that he was too busy “saving millions of lives” as president to run his company, let alone commit business fraud, a transcript released Wednesday revealed.

Here’s an exchange between Trump and Kevin Wallace, an attorney working for the New York AG.

Wallace: “So you were too busy for the company?”

Trump: “In a way, yeah. Yeah, I think you can say it. It’s another way of saying it. I was very busy. I was — I considered this the most important job in the world, saving millions of lives.”

The disgraced ex-president then added:

“I think you would have nuclear holocaust if I didn’t deal with North Korea. I think you would have a nuclear war, if I weren’t elected.
“And I think you might have a nuclear war now if you want to know the truth.”

James has accused Trump of grossly misstating the value of his company in order to obtain larger bank loans, reduce his insurance premiums, and avoid paying increased tax bills on his properties. She is now seeking a $250 million summary judgement that would likely destroy the Trump Organization, which is believed to be dangerously low on cash.

The filing from James also alleges that in 2014, the Trump Organization overvalued its net worth by at least $2.3 billion, which means the company committed fraud.

It remains to be seen if any judge or jury will buy Trump’s bullshit excuses.

Report Exposes The Extent Of Ivanka’s Corruption While Her Father Was POTUS

Even though she had absolutely zero experience when it came to government service, for four years Ivanka Trump was given unlimited access to the Oval Office and was reportedly one of her father’s most trusted advisers, which could help explain why Donald Trump was such a massive failure as president.

According to the New York Times, Ivanka was charged with overhauling programs that assisted small businesses run by women around the world, but the program “was so haphazardly managed by a federal agency that an independent watchdog was unable to determine whether it actually worked.

“In a report released on Thursday, the Government Accountability Office found that programs funded through the Women’s Entrepreneurship and Economic Empowerment Act, which Ms. Trump, the eldest daughter of former President Donald J. Trump, helped usher through Congress in late 2018, were deeply flawed and hampered by poor oversight.

“Officials at the U.S. Agency for International Development, which oversaw $265 million per year in spending on the initiative and an associated antipoverty program, never worked out “an explicit definition” of who was eligible to receive millions in aid, the report found.”

And yet, Republicans like to say that Ivanka was doing great things for women. Clearly, she wasn’t. Instead, she was using taxpayer money to fund a program that we cannot even measure the success or failure of. That’s the very definition of corruption.

The G.A.O. report also found that while Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel hailed Ivanka by claiming her efforts would “empower women all over the world,” the reality was far from what had been promised:

“Investigators, who interviewed agency workers in Africa, Asia, South America and Europe, reported that those workers ‘did not receive any guidance’ from top officials on how to define ‘the very poor,’ hampering efforts to deliver aid.”

Just like her father, Ivanka Trump isn’t good at anything other than lying and cheating. She’s a grifter and she wasted taxpayer money so she could pretend to be “governmenting.”

Historians Rank Trump Among The 5 Worst Presidents In US History

While he loves to claim that millions of Americans wanted him to win a second term in office, it appears that history will not be kind to failed, one-term former President Donald Trump, who has debuted on C-SPAN’s 2021 Survey of Presidential Leadership in 41st place, which places him among the five worst presidents in U.S. history.

Politico reports that the survey is conducted annually among a collection of historians, and those historians do not think much of Trump:

“This survey marks Trump’s first appearance on the list, on which the one-term president placed higher than only three other presidents: Franklin Pierce, Andrew Johnson and the perpetually last-ranked James Buchanan.”

The ratings are based on 10 qualities of presidential leadership;

  • Public Persuasion
  • Crisis Leadership
  • Economic Management
  • Moral Authority
  • International Relations
  • Administrative Skill
  • Relations with Congress
  • Vision/Setting an Agenda
  • Pursued Equal Justice for All
  • Performance Within the Context of the Times

When it comes to administrative skills, Trump ranked dead last among his predecessors in American history. He also ranks last when it comes to moral authority.

The reasons for Trump’s low rating are almost too numerous to mention, but presidential historian Douglas Brinkley suggested it had a lot to do with the 2021 impeachment, which made Trump the only president in history to be impeached twice:

“This year, people compared which is worse: Watergate or the Trump impeachment? The word ‘impeachment’ probably cost Nixon a few spots downward this year, and maybe Clinton too.”

In what will no doubt be especially galling to Trump, Barack Obama moved into the top 10.

The top 5 presidents, according to historians, are Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt, and Dwight D. Eisenhower. Lincoln has been ranked first since the survey began in 2000.

In time, as it becomes clearer just how incompetent and fundamentally evil Trump was during his term in office, it’s safe to predict he will be seen s the worst president in the long history of the United States. If he’s indicted, that spot is virtually guaranteed.

Former White House Aide Stephen Miller Could Face Charges For Human Rights Abuses

During the four years of the Trump administration, Stephen Miller was one of failed, one-term former President Donald Trump’s closest and most influential advisers, especially on the issue of immigration, where he urged Trump to separate immigrant children from their parents and place them into internment camps reminiscent of the horrors inflicted upon Japanese Americans during the Second World War.

But if one member of Congress has her way, Miller will soon be facing charges of violating the human rights of thousands of people.

The Hill reports:

A House Democrat … called for former Trump White House adviser Stephen Miller to be jailed, citing what she called ‘human rights violations’ at the southern border.

“Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-Texas), who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, said on The Intercept’s ‘Deconstructed’ podcast that Miller should be “behind bars” for his role in the Trump administration’s zero-tolerance border policy.

“I think he committed heinous human rights violations, and I think that those around him [who] helped plot this out should be held accountable, as well.”

And while Rep. Escobar will no doubt have plenty of Democratic colleagues who also believe Miller should indeed be locked up for the things he did to immigrants seeking asylum in the United States, she acknowledges that it will be a challenge to get the former White House adviser formally charged for his crimes against humanity:

“That is going to be very difficult, but it kills me that these people could potentially walk away and even potentially rebuild their reputations. I find them to be just among the most reprehensible, abhorrent people that our generation could have ever produced.”

The House Judiciary Committee is currently taking a long look at the way the Trump administration dealt the issue of immigration, including the incarceration of toddlers in horrific conditions: Forced to sleep on cement floors, denied essentials such as soap and toothpaste, and treated like criminals.

For his part, Miller just formed a new legal nonprofit organization he calls America First Legal, which he claims is aimed at “resisting the radical left’s agenda.”

Sounds just like something a neo-fascist would say, doesn’t it?

A Decision Trump Made As President Could Wind Up Devastating New York City

During his four years as the worst president in U.S. history, Donald Trump made some incredibly stupid and dangerous decisions, including one that could prove disastrous for the city of New York, according to Stephen Marche, author of The Next Civil War: Dispatches from the American Future.

Marche spoke with Molly Jong-Fast of The Daily Beast and revealed the potentially fatal mistake made by Trump during his time in office.

Marche notes that during the Trump administration, the federal government pulled all funding for a seawall that could potentially protect Manhattan from a possible hurricane that stands to destroy most of New York’s infrastructure:

“The models when a hurricane hits New York are incredibly strong. Miami and New Orleans are very nice towns, but New York is New York and 88 percent of the world’s international currency goes through, it’s still the capital of the world really.”

New York faces another obstacle should such a natural disaster strike the city, Marche added:

“It’s also unrebuildable. When it floods, the density of the infrastructure is so thick that, unlike Miami or Houston or New Orleans, they won’t won’t bee able to rebuild it.”

In February of last year, the New York Times reported on Trump’s decision not to build the much-needed seawall:

“The Trump administration has unexpectedly halted a project to protect the New York City region from flooding during dangerous storms like Hurricane Sandy — a decision that came six weeks after President Trump took to Twitter to ridicule the study’s most expensive proposal, a giant sea wall that could have cost billions of dollars.”

That report from the Times included a suggestion that the decision to leave New York City vulnerable may well have been a political one; a final middle finger to the city and state where the ex-president is under multiple criminal investigations that could end up bankrupting his corporation and sending him and members of his family to prison:

“While Mr. Trump cannot single-handedly cancel a Corps project — the funding is allocated by Congress, and its work plan is determined jointly by Corps officials, the Department of Defense and the White House Office of Management and Budget — the unusual suspension of an ongoing project quickly led to speculation that politics had played a role. Mr. Trump’s tweet, in January, criticized one of the five possible proposals to reduce storm flooding along New York Harbor and its rivers: a sea barrier with retractable gates that would stretch from New Jersey to Queens.”

Imagine the human and financial cost of a major hurricane striking New York and devastating Manhattan. It would bring banking, business, and media to a standstill as Trump plays golf and laughs at the mayhem he’s caused with his inaction.
