‘America First’ Marjorie Taylor Greene Mocked After People Find Out Where Her New Book Was Published

On Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) released what she’s calling a “memoir.” It’s entitled MTG.

Greene proudly announced the publication of the book on her favorite social media website, Twitter, which for some unknown reason the company’s CEO, Elon Musk, seems determined to rebrand as “X,” even though the homepage for the site still comes up as Twitter.com in the address bar.

The Georgia Republican, according to HuffPost, has tried to suggest that MTG will present her side of the many controversies which have surrounded her since she arrived in Congress.

The firebrand Republican has promised to tell her “side of the story” with the book. But the Guardian revealed it contains a false claim from Greene that no Democrats remained in the House chamber to defend it from supporters of then-President Donald Trump during the U.S. Capitol riot of 2021.

Here’s Margie’s Twitter announcement of the book:

The publisher of the book is Winning Team Publishing, which just so happens to have been co-founded by Donald Trump Jr., the oldest son of failed one-term, twice-impeached and multiply-indicted former president Donald Trump.

Also, in a particularly ironic note considering how Greene loves to claim she’s “America First” like the ex-president, the book itself was printed in Canada, which the congresswoman has suggested has become a socialist nation under the leadership of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. If that’s the case, then why print a book there? Were there no American printers available?

Greene’s book promo drew harsh remarks on social media, with some suggesting an alternative use for the pages.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s BS Jan. 6 Claims Get Destroyed In Brutal Fact Check Of Her New Book

According to a new book from controversial Georgia Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is getting her pilloried by reviewers for her fact-free claims that Democrats acted like cowards during the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol.

In the book, entitled MTG, Greene writes that House Democrats were “hysterical” during the attack. She adds:

“Several of the Republican congressmen said, ‘We’re going to stay right here and defend the House chamber.’ As they began barricading the door with furniture, I noticed not one Democrat was willing to stay to defend the chamber.”

But as Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) told The Guardian, Greene’s recollection of the events is complete bullshit. Crow says the book is “patently false” and “doesn’t exist in the same reality as the rest of us.”

The Guardian also reports that Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ), concurred with Crow.

In an oral history of January 6 by Business Insider, Raúl Grijalva, of Arizona, said: “You also saw members doing their part to facilitate our evacuation – Seth Moulton [of Massachusetts, a marines veteran], Ruben Gallego, and four or five others … who assumed a role of helping us to get out of there and working with the Capitol police to make sure that we were all safe.”

Gallego, also of Arizona and a former marine, told the same site: “Eventually what I did was I jumped up on a table and started giving instructions to people about how to open up the gas mask. We start seeing the doors being barricaded with furniture. We start hearing the noise of people – the insurrectionists – pounding on doors. Especially in the gallery.”

Greene ridicules some House Democrats for being too old and out of shape to defend themselves or others as rioters began attacking the Capitol and calling for the death of then-Vice President Mike Pence.

“I saw that it was a problem that so many of our representatives were older and physically unable to run. How do you get them to safety when they cannot move quickly because of age, physical ailments, or lack of physical fitness?”

“Oh, and many were hysterical, with the plastic bags over their heads in fear of teargas and the little electric fans running so they couldn’t hear, either. Just imagine Jerry Nadler trying to run for safety!”

Hysterical? Sounds more like how Greene reacts whenever someone dares to criticize her lord and savior, Donald Trump.

WATCH: Margie Greene Gets Brutally Schooled For Not Knowing How The Government Works

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) got her headed handed to her by a Democratic colleague when she snarkily suggested that the Democrat was too old to understand the way legislation is advanced in Congress.

During debate on a funding bill to keep the government from shutting down at the end of the week, Greene rose and remarked:

GOP showboats like Greene don’t know the first thing about legislating. All they want to do is obstruct and lead insurrections. And Margie is among the very worst of them.

“My Democrat colleague across the aisle, who’s 80 years old and has been here over 30 years, just said we’re on the verge of a shutdown. She probably just forgot that a few hours ago, she voted for the continuing resolution that will extend the budget, and we are not on the verge of a shutdown.”

While Greene was correct the House had passed the funding legislation, Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) promptly gave her a lesson in how a bill becomes a law.

“It may be that the gentlelady doesn’t know that there is another body attached to the U.S. Congress called the United States Senate,” DeLauro said. “And they have to vote on the continuing resolution.”

“That may be a basic lesson in civics. There is the House. There is the Senate. And there is the president.”

Furious Marjorie Taylor Greene Attacks Speaker Mike Johnson For Not Impeaching Biden

Just a little more than two weeks ago, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) looked and sounded pleased that Mike Johnson (R-LA) had become speaker of the House, taking a selfie with him and posting it on Twitter.

But that was before Johnson made it clear that he wasn’t about to fast-track the impeachment of President Joe Biden, which has long been a dream of Greene’s, despite the fact that Republicans have almost no evidence to warrant impeachment.

The Washington Post’s Jacqueline Alemany reported Friday that Johnson didn’t sound enthusiastic about moving forward on impeachment.

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), a constitutional lawyer by training, has taken a more reserved tone, both publicly and privately, urging members to conduct a thorough and fair investigation with no predetermined outcome. In a closed-door meeting with House GOP moderates this week, he indicated that there is insufficient evidence at the moment to initiate formal impeachment proceedings, according to people who attended the meeting.

“We’ll just go where the evidence goes and we’re not there yet,” Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.) said, paraphrasing Johnson’s comments on the inquiry at the Republican Governance Group’s weekly lunch on Tuesday. “Most of us are saying, look, we can’t even get a single Democratic vote on this right now. I think the voters will reject what they are seeing when it comes to Biden [policies] — but high crimes and misdemeanors? I don’t think we’ve seen that or enough data to really make a good case and I feel like [Johnson] really agreed with us on that.”

That didn’t sit well with Greene, who went on Twitter and attacked Johnson.

Not long ago we had a Speaker that believed in impeachment so much that he launched an inquiry without a floor vote, but you were told he was bad.

After 8 R’s and all D’s ousted him, we found checks to Joe Biden and evidence of a massive money laundering scheme and now the new guy you are told is way better doesn’t want to impeach.

Such progress.

The Georgia Republican was roundly mocked for her online hissy fit.

Poor Margie! She desperately wants to be on the winning team, but she belongs to a party of liars, losers, and fools.

Margie Greene’s ‘Accountability’ Tweet Comes Back To Bite Her Right On The A*s

Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene posted a strange tweet about “accountability” on Sunday that promptly got her mocked and ridiculed on social media.

The tweet, which featured a photo of meal served poolside, included this text:

“Home is where I reset. Going back to work tomorrow. Accountability coming.”

Could she possibly be more cryptic or deluded?

Also, the mention of “accountability” is especially ironic coming from a woman who attempted to overturn the 2020 election and then begged Donald Trump for a last-minute presidential pardon.

Twitter users were eager to remind Greene that her posting was the ultimate self-own.
