Lauren Boebert Gets Called Out For Her Bullsh*t By…Sean Hannity?!

Though it may be hard to believe, Fox News host Sean Hannity actually did a few minutes of journalism on his show Wednesday evening as he interviewed Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) to discuss the ongoing impasse between right-wing House GOP hardliners and those who support House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to be the next Speaker of the House.

Hannity began the interview by reading a quote from Boebert in which she had called on former president Donald Trump to urge McCarthy to withdraw his candidacy for the Speaker’s chair. He then inquired:

“Congresswoman, I’m frustrated by you not answering a direct question. You said to President Trump, you said earlier today that President Trump needs to tell Kevin McCarthy, you don’t have the votes–

“Let me turn the tables, congresswoman. Kevin McCarthy has 202–3 votes. Your side has 20. So, if I’m gonna use your words, and your methodology, and your math, isn’t it time for you to pack it in and your side to pack it in considering he has over 200 and you have 20?”

Boebert responded, “Sean, I understand the frustration, I promise you, But he–”

The host countered, “I’m not frustrated. You didn’t answer my question.”

A few seconds later, as Boebert continued to prevaricate, a frustrated Hannity asked again about her abandoning her effort to block McCarthy, to which she replied:

“Well, Sean, he needs 218 and he does not have 218.”

Hannity quickly reminded the Colorado Republican:

“Neither do you!”

When you’ve lost Sean Hannity, it might be time to realize that you are indeed in a cult.

AOC Has The Perfect Comeback When A GOP Rep. Says Democrats Are Drinking On The House Floor

Since Republicans in the House of Representatives continue to prove that they cannot manage to elect a Speaker, they’re now lashing out at their Democratic colleagues, but it turns out they’re no better at that than they are at picking a leader.

During debate on the House floor Wednesday, Mediaite reports, Rep.-elect Kat Cammack (R-FL) accused Democrats of drinking as they watched the GOP debacle continue for the second straight day.

Refusing to elect McCarthy as Speaker, said Cammack, was tantamount to “stifl[ing] the will of the American people.”

She credited McCarthy for having “done more than anyone in this chamber to secure a Republican majority,” and said they needed to “unify now” to oppose the “liberal Senate” and “Obama’s J.V. Team in the White House.”

“The American people sent a conservative majority to govern this body,” she continued, but “we cannot begin to govern because heck, we can’t even swear in as members of Congress.”

“Diversity of thought” was “a good thing,” and sets Republicans “apart from our friends on the other side of the aisle,” Cammack continued, who “want us divided” and “want us to fight each other.”

And then Cammack casually dropped in her specious accusation:

“That much has been made clear but the popcorn and blankets and alcohol that has come in over there.”

There were loud boos and jeers in response to Cammack’s cheap shot, but perhaps the best comeback came from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who replied on Twitter.

“If only! If Dems took a shot every time McCarthy lost a Republican, we’d all be unconscious by now”

At last count, McCarthy had lost FIVE votes to be Speaker, garnering fewer votes than Democratic House leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY).

If anyone needs a drink, it’s the House GOP caucus. Maybe if they got rip-roaring drunk they could actually manage to accomplish something. Then again, they’d probably argue over who got the last swig from the bottle.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Claims Herschel Walker Lost Because She Didn’t Campaign For Him

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) says she’s insulted that the campaign of losing Georgia GOP Senate candidate Herschel Walker didn’t ask her to campaign more for him in the Peach State.

Speaking with former Trump administration adviser/convicted felon Steve Bannon on Wednesday, Greene declared that Walker’s loss to incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) in Tuesday’s runoff election was a “disaster in Georgia.”

“This is for Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham and the rest of the Republican senators; you guys are the reasons why we are losing Republican races all over the country. And this is your third loss in my home state. So, let me inform you on behalf of Georgia, this is your third strike and you’re out!”

Then Greene whined about the Walker campaign not utilizing her more, as if someone as controversial, divisive, and downright disgusting as her would have helped Walker would have changed a single vote in Georgia.

“I was never asked very often by the Herschel Walker campaign to come speak at any of his campaign events. They only asked me to maybe two I think. Two or three in my own district when he was campaigning all over the state, running for Senate. But they only asked me a couple of times in my own district, which I find extremely insulting.”

She added:

“The audacity and really frank rudeness of the campaign consultants and Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham where they thought, you know, we’re going to keep Marjorie Taylor Greene away from Herschel Walker and we don’t need her voice at his campaign rallies and events where we’re campaigning all over the state, I think is really a major mistake and an insult to me and insult to people who support me and Republicans all over Georgia.”

Yeah, if only Walker had utilized Greene more, he could have lost by 10 points and they would have made the perfect one-two punch of Tweedledumb and Tweedledumber.

Here’s the video from Bannon’s podcast:

Numerically-Challenged Lauren Boebert Humiliates Herself With An Attack On Joe Biden

While we’ve known for two years now that Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) isn’t exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer, a criticism she made of President Joe Biden regarding restocking of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve provides evidence that Ms. Boebert cannot even comprehend basic math.

As she often does, Boebert went on a Twitter rant aimed directly at the president. She attacked him for selling off 180 million barrels of oil to lower the price of gasoline earlier this year and is now angry that Biden is refilling the reserve with the price of oil and gas now significantly lower., posting her complaint for the entire internet to see.

“Trump stocked up our reserves at record-low prices. Then, Biden emptied it out to get through the midterms. Now, he’s going to stock it back up at a MUCH higher price.”

However, there’s one problem with Boebert’s tweet: It’s complete bullshit and anyone who can add and subtract would know that right off the bat.

Fortunately, Patrick De Haan, a gas price tracker, saw the congresswoman’s tweet and corrected her since she clearly didn’t learn much in those GED classes she took.

“Average selling price $96 [at the time of the sales], including some sales close to $120, and the price today is $75. You’re not the best at math.”

DeHahn, who has been extremely critical of Biden in the past for not doing enough to boost the domestic gasoline supply, also added a little zinger for Boebert: The Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) actually decreased when Donald Trump was president.

“In addition, the SPR declined during Trump’s tenure from 695 million barrels to 634 million.”

There’s also this handy factual tidbit that Boebert would have discovered if she’d merely done a quick Google search: The United States has made $4 billion so far this year from SPR sales, according to Business Insider:

The US government has pocketed a roughly $4 billion windfall from sales of crude this year out of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

In the week ending December 9, the US released about 4.7 million barrels of crude, and the Energy Department has said it will conclude deliveries this month.

Since President Joe Biden tapped into the reserves in March — just after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine — the US has sold 180 million barrels of crude at an average price of $96.25 per barrel, per The Wall Street Journal

Sorry, Bobo, but you’re wrong in every way imaginable, and you’re even dumber than we feared.

Geographically-Challenged Oz Makes A Fool Of Himself And Proves He Truly Is A Carpetbagger

Pennsylvania GOP Senate candidate Mehmet Oz may be a doctor, but he proved his complete ignorance of the state he asking to elect him during an interview he gave to Fox News host Sean Hannity on Monday night.

Oz, who has lived in New Jersey for years, is running against Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman (D) for the Senate seat being vacated by the retiring Pat Toomey (R), told Hannity:

“Pennsylvania is too important. This is important, we do not have a Republican senator north of North Carolina on the Atlantic coast until you get to Maine if I don’t hold this seat. And there has been a Republican senator in Pennsylvania most of my life. I’m gonna keep one here as well.”

As Mediaite notes, Oz may own homes in multiple states, but he clearly knows little or nothing about where exactly those houses are located:

The multimillionaire does own homes in Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Two of his Florida estates are actually on the beach.

But his Pennsylvania properties do not back up to Pennsylvania’s coastline because Pennsylvania has no coastline. That did not stop Oz from pitching a very special message to voters Monday night. In essence, Oz asked them to make him the state’s next senator so the east coast can keep its Republican representation.

There is absolutely no point where the Keystone State touches the Atlantic Ocean. Never has been and never will be, which is something Oz might know if he wasn’t just moonlighting as a Pennsylvania resident in an attempt to steal a Senate seat.

Twitter users were also eager to take Oz to school on his faux pas.
