Nasty Feud Developing Between Boebert And Greene Over Who Will Be The Next House Speaker

Once the best of friends and colleagues in the House of Representatives, Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) are now sniping at each other over whether or not House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy should be the next Speaker of the House.

The sniping between Boebert and Greene spilled out out into public view on Monday when Boebert appeared on The Charlie Kirk Show and made it clear she thinks Greene’s support of McCarthy to be Speaker is misguided.

“I’ve aligned with Marjorie and been accused of believing a lot of the things that she believes in. I don’t believe in [summarily electing McCarthy], just as I don’t believe in Russian space lasers, Jewish space lasers, all of it, no.”

Those comments clearly hit a nerve with Greene, who vented her anger toward Boebert on Twitter.

“I’ve supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. President Trump has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. Kevin McCarthy has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. She just barely came through by 500 votes. She gladly takes our $$ but when she’s been asked: Lauren refuses to endorse President Trump, she refuses to support Kevin McCarthy, and she childishly threw me under the bus for a cheap sound bite … Americans expect conservative fighters like us to work together to Save America and that is the only mission I’m 100% devoted to, not high school drama and media sound bites.”

The back and forth between Boebert and Greene resulted in plenty of commentary on Twitter, where many users said they were delighted to see Christmas come early in the form of a Republican civil war.
