Kyle Rittenhouse Facing Massive Financial Lawsuit From Victim He Shot In Kenosha

Though he was found not guilty for the murder of two men in Kenosha, Wisconsin back in 2020, Kyle Rittenhouse is now facing having to pay a massive financial settlement to a man he shot who survived and claims he is owed money for what he went through as a result of the attack.

Fox News reports that Gaige Grosskreutz is seeking economic losses, “damages for emotional distress, humiliation, loss of enjoyment of life, and other pain and suffering on all claims,” and punitive damages.

“Astonishingly, the Kenosha Police Department, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, their supervising officials and police officers, and law enforcement officers from surrounding communities did not treat Defendant Rittenhouse or any of the other armed individuals patrolling the streets as a threat to the safety of themselves or the citizens they were sworn to protect,” states the lawsuit, which was obtained by Fox News Digital.

“Instead, the law enforcement Defendants deputized these armed individuals, conspired with them, and ratified their actions by letting them patrol the streets, armed with deadly weapons, to mete out justice as they saw fit,'” said the lawsuit filed Feb. 14 by attorneys Kimberley Motley of Motley Legal Services and E. Milo Schwab of Ascend Counsel.

Rittenhouse also shot two other men, Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, both of whom died.

At a trial held after the shootings, Rittenhouse claimed he acted in self-defense and was acquitted of homicide charges.

Asked about the new lawsuit, Rittenhouse said he’s ready “prove my innocence again,” but claimed it would come with a large price tag, an apparent attempt to get other to pay his legal expenses. He added:

“I guess it came as a shock to why he’s filing a lawsuit because he admitted that he pointed a gun in my face and that he chased me down.”

Grosskreutz, however, claims he “approached with his hands in the air to try to ease the situation and stop the killing.”

Lauren Boebert Says SHE’S A Victim Of The Club Q Mass Shooting

Colorado Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert wants us all to feel sorry for her because she says that she’s also a victim of the Club Q mass shooting that left five dead and 17 others injured in Colorado Springs last Saturday.

During an appearance on One America News Network, Boebert claimed the families of the Club Q victims “don’t even have time to grieve before the Left starts pointing the blame and trying to find a cause for this instead of actually going after the deranged shooter, the evil person who did this.”

And then came the congresswoman’s claim that she’s just as much of a victim as those who were shot at the nightclub.

“I’ve been accused of just about every mass shooting there has been. I’ve been blamed for all of it. It has to come to an end. The Left is pissed I won my election, so they’re trying to find something to go after me about.”

Yeah, as if there’s any shortage of things we can “go after” Boebert for. After all, this is the same woman who has said the following things:

Boebert’s victimhood claim was met with righteous scorn on Twitter.

Viral Video: Marjorie Taylor Greene Appears To Kick A Gun Control Activist Who Disagrees With Her

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) appears to have committed a crime that was caught on video today in Washington, D.C.

Greene was walking and talking to activists who support sensible gun control. The congresswoman is vehemently opposed to any laws that would regulated guns in any manner whatsoever.

One of the activists, Santiago Mayer, the executive director of Voters of Tomorrow asked Greene about her staunch opposition to laws that would help reduce mass shootings, to which Greene replied:

“Shame on you. You know what? Go move to another country where they take away your guns.”

Mayer:

“I want to live in a country where kids don’t get shot.”

A sneering Greene told Mayer:

“You’re not even a grateful American.”

Another woman who was wearing a blue dress, then inquired of Greene:

“How does the second Amendment prevent gun violence?”

If you watch closely at the 1:15 mark of the video, it appears that Greene kicks the woman to make her move out of her walking path. The startled woman is clearly surprised, and a few seconds later an aide to Greene mentions that it’s against the law to block a member of Congress.

As she walks past the woman in the blue dress, Greene seems to say that she should just consider being kicked an “accident.”

Mayer later confirmed that Greene had indeed kicked a member of his team:

Marjorie Greene Gets Smacked Down For Blaming Latest Mass Shooting On Antidepressants

Eager to prove her complete lack of comprehension and featly to the gun lobby, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is desperately trying to blame the July 4th mass shooting in Highland Park, Illinois on antidepressant medications and video games instead of weapons of mass murder.

Robert Crimo III is the suspected shooter who allegedly killed 6 people during an Independence Day parade and wounded 31 others.

Greene, however, thinks guns had nothing to do with the crime, and took to Twitter so she could proudly declare her ignorance for the entire internet to see, writing:

“What drugs and/or psychiatric drugs was he on for his mind to be ruined in alternate reality games that caused him to commit a mass shooting? His parents know. The police know. School, arrest, hospital records? The public DESERVES to know.”

She also posted this:

“When are we going to talk about drugs and SSRI’s? When are they going to release the shooters records? Why wasn’t his threats of mass shootings in his videos taken seriously by LE that knew about him? What did his parents know? Gun control won’t stop this epidemic of evil.”

Shannon Watts, the founder of firearms safety advocacy group Moms Demand Action, quickly reminded Greene of some cold hard facts she had neglected to mention regarding mass shootings and gun crime.

“Iceland is the world’s biggest consumer of [selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors]. They’ve had 5 gun homicides since 2020; in the US, there have been over 30,000 in that time. Japan is one of the largest video game markets in the world. They have only 10 shooting deaths a year; the US has 40,000. It’s the guns.”

Video games and antidepressants, according to Greene. But how many people would have died if Crimo had been unable to obtain the weapon he used? Would tossing knives off the roof where he carried out the shooting have killed and wounded so many people? No. And yet it’s all about drugs and games.

Marjorie Taylor Greene and the vast majority of the Republican Party are whores for the NRA and gun manufacturers. It’s that simple and that easily diagnosed.

WATCH Katie Porter Shut Down A GOP Witness At A Hearing On Guns

California Democratic Congresswoman Katie Porter masterfully handled a witness testifying for Republicans on the issue of gun control, making it clear that she wasn’t about to be steamrolled and lied to.

Amy Swearer of the right-wing Heritage Foundation was appearing before the House Oversight Committee, and she immediately suggested Porter had incorrectly accused her of perjury regarding legislation on assault weapons:

“Would you like the explanation?” Swearer asked Porter, to which the congresswoman replied:

“I have not yielded, Ms. Swearer.”

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) squawked that Swearer had not been allowed to answer, but he was promptly ruled out of order by the committee chair.

Swearer then got even angrier:

“I have been accused of falsely testifying under oath and I would like to address it!”

Porter:

“Earlier today, you testified you hope this is the last time you have to testify before this Congress. For the sake of our nation and the integrity of this Congress, I do too.”

The witness responded:

“I said after a mass shooting. Trying to figure out how to solve a problem that we are heavily invested in solving.
“How dare you.”

Once again, Porter had the perfect comeback:

“Reclaiming my time. How dare you misstate the law.”

Seething, Swearen hissed:

“How dare you ask questions that you do not even want the answer to.”

Rather than let Swearen continue, Porter told her:

“Ms. Swearer, I’m moving on.”
