Jon Stewart has had enough of Republicans who continually assert that more guns in the United States make us all safer, and he’s letting them know that he’s sick and tired of their bullshit.
On his AppleTV+ show “The Problem With Jon Stewart” this week, the host spoke with Oklahoma state Sen. Nathan Dahm (R), who immediately made it clear he doesn’t think the country needs any gun legislation.
Stewart reminded Dahm, “Oh, it’s also the one right that uses the phrase ‘well-regulated.'” He then added:
Later in the discussion, Stewart asked the Oklahoma Republican:
“That’s your subjective opinion,” Dahm responded.
Stewart reminded Dahm:
The former “Daily Show” host then asked Dahm why he had proposed a bill in his state to ban drag show readings in his state, to which the lawmaker retorted, “Because the government does have a responsibility to protect … children.”
That’s when Stewart won the debate and made Dahm look like a clueless fool:
