Proving yet again that she’s not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) thought it’d be fun to attack Vice President Kamala Harris and suggest that she’s uneducated and unable to handle the duties of her job.
All Boebert accomplished, however, was drawing attention to her own lack of intelligence as her accusation doubled back and hit her right in the face.
The Colorado Republican tweeted:
No matter your opinion of Harris, her academic credentials are impeccable. She graduated from Howard University and earned her law degree from the Hastings College of Law at the University of California.
Boebert, on the other hand, is a high school dropout and needed three tries before she could earn a passing score on the GED, which she obtained just a few months before she took office.
That was all it took to elicit a thorough online mocking of Boebert for daring to question anyone’s knowledge or education.
Kari Lake is running to be the GOP gubernatorial nominee in the state of Arizona, and she’s doing so with the full blessing and endorsement of failed, one-term former President Donald Trump.
But when a reporter from “60 Minutes Australia” asked Lake about “your man, Donald,” the candidate took offense and stormed off the set, proving that the biggest snowflakes in the world are indeed right-wingers when you dare to confront them with facts.
Reporter Liam Bartlett began by asking what Lake thought about Trump’s suggestion that he would pardon anyone convicted for their role in the January 6 Capitol insurrection if he runs for president and manages to win in 2024, to which Lake responded:
Bartlett countered:
Lake, however, said she was offended by what Bartlett had said:
Bartlett:
But Lake remained focused on the “your man, Donald” comment:
For some reason known only to him, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) thought it would be a good day to kiss failed, one-term former President Donald Trump’s fat ass, but his efforts only succeeded in getting him mocked and ridiculed on Twitter.
Oddly, the tweet Jordan sent out was just the ex-president’s last name:
What in the hell is that all about? Is it just an attempt to provoke people? Is it some sort of code that only the MAGA morons understand? Or could it be that Jim has simply run out of material for his social media account?
Fortunately, others on Twitter were more than equal to the challenge, and they lit up Jordan in some incredibly original and hilarious ways. Take a look:
During an appearance on Fox News Tuesday, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) tried not once, but TWICE to insult President Joe Biden, only to flub both attempts and wind up looking like the clueless dullard she is and always will be.
HuffPost notes that Boebert’s attempts at slagging Biden were on the issues of taxes and energy independence:
“I don’t know who’s running the federal government these days: Joe Biden or Prince John from … uhhhh … Prince John,” Boebert said on Fox News Tuesday. “But they’re taxing us into poverty.”
Prince John from Prince John? What in the hell?!
Boebert was probably trying to reference Prince John from the Disney animated movie “Robin Hood,” but apparently the already minimal synapses in her brain refused to fire.
A few minutes later, the Colorado Republican used a double negative that completely undercut what she was trying to communicate:
It didn’t take long before “Prince John” began to trend on Twitter, and the videos of Bobert’s Fox appearance have been viewed over 1.2 million times so far.
Here’s some of what Twitter users had to say about Boebert’s televised faceplant:
During a Tuesday debate on the “Don’t Say Gay” legislation that has already passed the Florida House of Representatives and is now before the Senate, Republican State Sen. Ileana Garcia rose to speak in favor of the bill, but what she said proved that her opinion of the issue is far from fully informed.
Speaking for over 15 minutes, Garcia expressed her support for the legislation, which would ban teachers from discussing sexual orientation and gender identity with younger students:
Garcia also claimed that she has family and friends who are LGBT, “but I don’t pander on that.”
And then there was what the senator had to say about a transgender woman she claims who know who prefers to date women:
“A friend of mine went through the whole transition as an older man, 58-years-old, became a woman and guess what? He still likes women! He went through the whole process and we’d laugh together and I’d say, why do you want to deal with the hormones? Why do you want to worry about the extensions and the hair and boobs and the nails and he loved it.
“So he had a sexual experience. And he realized that he continued to like women.”
And while she was at it, Garcia also decided to share some completely bogus “statistics” about gender-affirming surgery:
“You know, a lot of people don’t know that I think that the statistics are that 4 out of 7 people who do the full transition end up committing suicide because it’s tough.”
Nope. Not even remotely accurate. As a matter of fact, gender-affirming surgery is actually shown to reduce the likelihood of a person committing suicide.
The bill was passed by the Florida Senate and now heads to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) who will sign it because he wants to try and create a cultural issue he can use to get a second term in office and use his reelection as a springboard to the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.
