Trump’s Thanksgiving Message Is So Selfish And Delusional It’ll Make You Gag

Failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump wants us all to know that we have one thing above all others to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day: That he’s still around and is plotting a comeback in 2024.

In other words, he’s just as delusional as ever and thinks we actually want him back in the White House.

Trump released a holiday message via his spokesperson, Liz Harrington, which she posted on Twitter because the Donald no longer has access to any respected social media platform:

“A very interesting time in our Country, but do not worry, we will be great again—and we will all do it together.

“America will never fail, and we will never allow it to go in the wrong direction. Too many generations of greatness are counting on us. Enjoy your Thanksgiving knowing that a wonderful future lies ahead!”

Around the same time, Trump’s Save America PAC sent out this message trying to raise money so Grifter Don can pay his legal bills:

“We have a lot to be thankful for, but unfortunately, RECORD HIGH INFLATION is not one of those things. Biden took the beautiful, strong economy I built and lit it up in flames. The price of your Thanksgiving meal has gone up 14%. Despicable.”

The real reason we should be thankful today is because Donald Trump is no longer president and is under criminal investigation in several jurisdictions. If we’re lucky, by this time next year he’ll be indicted and facing prison.

As for “despicable,” the most despicable thing of all is what the ex-president sees anytime he looks in the mirror.

Trump Claims He ‘Saved Kenosha’ As He Takes Credit For Kyle Rittenhouse’s Acquittal

According to failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump, it’s a good thing he was in office when Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed two people in Kenosha, Wisconsin, because the city was saved and Rittenhouse was acquitted thanks to the brilliant actions of the Donald.

Speaking with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Trump had this to say about the not guilty verdict handed down by a jury on Friday:

“I think that it was a great decision. I was sad it had to go this far. Somebody should have ended it earlier, and frankly the case should have never been brought. It was prosecutorial misconduct. … I was very happy to see (the not guilty verdict). A lot of people were very happy to see it — most people.”

Trump went on to accuse CNN and MSNBC of making the case about race:

“They were really trying to spew hatred. They’d love to see riots all over the place”

Like the riots that took place at the Capitol on January 6th when Trump urged his supporters to march on the building and make sure the electoral votes weren’t counted?

The ex-president also patted himself on the back for saving the city of Kenosha:

“We saved Kenosha very early. It was a horrible couple of nights. They got individual stores. The place didn’t burn down to the ground because we sent in a lot of good people.”

As usual, Trump wants us to believe that only he is capable of handling a crisis. Yet he failed to adequately control the COVID pandemic, repeatedly lied about the dangers of the virus, and even suggested it could be treated by injecting disinfectant or using bright light inside the body.

Every time he opens his big mouth, Donald Trump reminds us why voters overwhelmingly rejected him.

Federal Judge Questions Why Capitol Rioters Are Going To Jail While Trump Still Walks Free

A federal judge said Friday at a sentencing hearing for a Capitol rioter who participated in the storming of the building on Jan. 6 that he doesn’t understand why so many people are going to prison and yet failed, one-term former President Donald Trump hasn’t even been charged for inciting the horror that unfolded on that fateful day.

U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta was sentencing Capitol rioter John Lolos when he made his remarks, according to Zoe Tillman of Buzzfeed.

The judge noted that those who showed up on Jan. 6 and stormed the Capitol “were called to Washington, DC, by an elected official, prompted to walk to the Capitol by an elected official.

“People like Mr. Lolos were told lies and falsehoods and told that an election was stolen when it clearly was not. Regrettably, people like Mr. Lolos for whatever reason are impressionable and will believe such falsehoods and such lies… And they are the ones who are suffering the consequences.”

Judge Mehta went on to say that those are were behind the “Stop the Steal” rally which ended with rioting “in no meaningful sense of the word have been held to account.”

Turning to Lolos, Mehta remarked:

“You are a pawn in a game that’s played and directed by people who should know better.”

Here’s the full Twitter thread from Tillman’s reporting on today’s court hearing:

Of course, Judge Mehta is absolutely correct. Trump and others (Steve Bannon, Roger Stone, etc.) should all be charged with criminal offenses if the evidence supports them being prosecuted. And if they’re found guilty, they should have to serve prison time for inciting the crowds who did so much damage on that dark January day.

The Latest MAGA-Inspired Portrait Of Trump Is Beyond Pathetic

As much as they try to deny it, those who slavishly laud and support failed, one-term former President Donald Trump are actually part of a cult, which is defined as:

A cult is group of people defined by a “religious” devotion to something — often a self-appointed leader.

Sound familiar? It explains why so many of the Trump faithful feel a need to put signs and flags up in their yards that let everyone know they still support Donnie Dotard despite the fact that he lost in a landslide to President Joe Biden.

Or consider the QAnon subculture that has also been spawned in the wake of Trump’s rise over the past few years. These people are convinced that Trump is the anointed one has been sent to fight and defeat the evil Democrats who get their power from eating the adrenal glands of children after they’ve been sexually trafficked. And yet the people who have actually been accused of sexual abuse and trafficking are Republicans such as the Donald and his faithful lapdog Matt Gaetz.

The “artwork” of painter Jon McNaughton is also part of the Trump cult, depicting the twice-impeached ex-president as some sort of mythic hero who can cure every ill faced by modern society.

Here’s McNaughton’s latest bit of artistic adoration:

A couple of questions regarding the above creation:

  • Why do they all have semiautomatic weapons when those hadn’t even been invented when most of these former presidents were in office?
  • How did Jefferson, Reagan, Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Kennedy get Planet Fitness memberships when it wasn’t incorporated until 1992?

The complete absurdity of the new Trump artwork had Twitter in stitches:

Court Filing Lists The Incriminating Documents Trump Wants To Keep Hidden From The Jan. 6 Committee

If you were wondering why failed, one-term, twice-impeached former President Donald Trump is trying so desperately to keep some of his former White House records hidden from the House Select Committee on the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, a court filing has shed new light on exactly what Trump fears may be shared with congressional investigators.

USA Today reports Trump has claimed executive privilege over 39 pages of the 136 pages that were set to be released last Friday by the National Archives before a federal appeals court in Washington, D.C. put a temporary hold on those documents:

These records all relate to the events on or about January 6, and may assist the Select Committee’s investigation into that day, including what was occurring at the White House immediately before, during and after the January 6 attack.

An even closer look at the specifics of what Trump wants to keep from the committee suggests that the former president is terrified of his own personal liability in regard to the insurrection which left five people dead earlier this year:

Of the 763 pages in which Trump asserted privilege, 629 are talking points prepared for the press secretary and 43 include presidential schedules, appointments, activity logs, call logs, among other documents, according to the filing from the National Archives. The National Archives identified nearly 1,600 pages of records that fit the committee’s request, with thousands more yet to be reviewed, according to the agency. Trump sought to keep nearly half the pages confidential, but the Justice Department replied that they are crucial to the investigation.

The Select Committee has asked for any and all records (including but not limited to calendar entries, photographs, and videos) that are connected to the effort to delay certification of the electoral vote on Jan. 6, when Congress was meeting in joint session to name Joe Biden 46th President of the United States in accord with the process laid out in the U.S. Constitution.

Though Trump and his allies have repeatedly asserted they weren’t involved in the violence which took place on Jan. 6, their repeated efforts to keep records hidden and refusal to obey congressional subpoenas suggest there are ulterior motives that go far beyond defending the principle of executive privilege, which only applies to sitting officials, not former office holders.

The D.C. Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments on whether or not to release the documents to the Select Committee on Nov. 30 and a ruling is expected shortly after those are completed.
