Ari Melber Masterfully Mocks Trump Supporters By Referencing A Line From ‘Scarface’

MSNBC host Ari Melber has an important message for those who still support failed former president Donald Trump despite the fact that he’s been hit with 91 criminal charges and continues to claim he actually won the 2020 election.

HuffPost reports that Melber addressed the ongoing election denialism that’s rampant among many Trumpers on his show Thursday.

Parroting of the former president’s false claims that he won the 2020 election “has actually hurt the party’s ability to listen and get anywhere near competitive,” said Melber, noting GOP losses in Tuesday’s 2023 elections.

“The Republican Party, under Trump’s election denialism, has been lying to itself, and that doesn’t work, which brings us to an iconic and true lesson from ‘Scarface,’” he continued.

Melber then played a clip from “Scarface” in which drug kingpin Tony Montana is warned, “Don’t get high on your own supply.”

That led the host to note:

“You could be dealing, you could be lying, you could be giving in to others, but when you start dealing to yourself, when you and your own team are getting high, losing your sense of reality, losing your sobriety, politically and otherwise, well, well you really played yourself.”

“Trump pushed the party into spending years high on its own supply, demanding it, making it a kind of a litmus test that future candidates running in unrelated elections had to get high on his supply and lie and pretend he didn’t even lose the race he lost.”

Believing lies and conspiracy theories is a losing strategy. If you need proof of that, look no further than the 2020 election, the 2022 midterms, and the massive losses suffered by Republicans on Tuesday in Kentucky, Ohio, and Virginia.

Trump Supporter: ‘Civil War’ Will Begin If Donald Is Convicted For Any Of His Crimes

A woman who supports disgraced former president Donald Trump told NBC News correspondent Vaughn Hillyard that there will be a “civil war” in the United States if the failed ex-president is convicted for any of his many alleged crimes.

Hillyard spoke with the woman at a recent pro-Trump rally, asking her, “If Donald Trump were to be found guilty by a jury, where do you see this going?”

“Civil war,” she replied. “Civil War. Divide it up. Because we can’t live together, obviously.”

A man who was also at the rally insisted he would “protect” Trump from ever spending a day in jail, no matter what he has to do to assure that.

Appearing on “Morning Joe,” Hillyard noted:

“What I’m increasingly convinced by, from conversations like those across this country, is that we are increasingly getting closer to an event, whatever that event may be, that event is becoming increasingly closer here. Donald Trump does have millions [of supporters] — it may not win him an election, but it will be there to defend him to the very end, whatever that end may look like.”

Could it be any clearer that these people are not just supporters and have instead crossed the line to become domestic terrorists?

Donald Trump HATES His Supporters – And This Video Proves It

Failed, disgraced, one-term and twice-impeached former president Donald Trump absolutely loves to brag that he has the most devoted supporters on the planet, but how does he really feel about them?

Granted, we know the Trumpers and MAGA faithful adore the Donald with a fervor that resembles some sort of religion, though it’s actually more of a cult. (Think David Koresh mixed with Jim Jones and you’ll have the Trump equivalent.)

And now we have a video that shows exactly how much Trump despises his acolytes and doesn’t actually want to be anywhere near them.

The video was shared on Twitter by Ron Filipkowski, and it clearly shows a small crowd of Trump faithful wanting to get as close as possible to the Donald.

And yet, Trump instructs his Secret Service detail to move the people, gesticulating for the security personnel to shoo away the fans so he can walk unencumbered and not have to get too close to the “little people” as he likely refers to them when they’re not around.

You can almost imagine Trump telling the Secret Service agents, Get these assholes away from me! They’re too close. They might mess up my hair or breathe on me. To hell with that!

Filipkowski later discussed the video on his podcast, MAGA Uncovered, and his comments are completely on-point.

The comments from Twitter users regarding the video were also fantastic.

If Trump is this afraid of people, just imagine when he gets to federal prison.

Barbra Streisand Has The Perfect Way To Troll Donald Trump And His Minions

Donald Trump is a braggart. He loves to toot his own horn and talk about all of the great things he’s accomplished as a businessman (even though he’s filed bankruptcy on multiple occasions) and all he did while he was in the White House, where he allowed the COVID pandemic to run rampant and kill hundreds of thousands of Americans while the U.S. economy tanked and unemployment skyrocketed to double digits.

Trump is also a pathological liar. He lies about everything. If he tells you the sky is blue, go outside and check. It won’t be.

How do you counter such a man? Well, according to award-winning singer and actress Barbra Streisand, you use cold hard facts to cut Donald down to size and remind him that he’s a loser and always has been.

Speaking to Variety, Streisand was asked about the four years that Trump was president, and she didn’t mince any words:

“That was four years in a black hole. Unforgivable. Four years of people dying unnecessarily because they didn’t tell the truth. The truth is so important. Tell people the truth, they can deal with it.”

Streisand also gave her thoughts on the Capitol insurrection:

“What’s so hard to understand is all the hate and violence that Trump invoked during his years and how that manifested itself in the January 6th insurrection and the falsities and the lies that are still floating around about an election that Biden won by 7 million votes.”

Truth is the perfect antidote to Trump’s lies, and that’s when Streisand provided exactly what we all need to forever troll the Donald and his delusional supporters:

“‘When you think of it, Al Gore lost the election by 537 votes. Hillary Clinton lost the election by 77,000 votes. But Trump lost the election by 7 million votes. I think they should show that every day on TV.”

They certainly should. Run it anytime Trump or someone who supports him is on TV and trying to spread their bullshit. Run it right under their image and keep running it as long as they’re on the air.

Southern Baptists Have A Meltdown After A Black Minister Calls Them ‘Whores For Trump’

A black Southern Baptist minister is calling out his colleagues and accusing them of being “whores for Trump,” setting off a wave of hypocritical denials from the very people who have supported the thrice-married sexual philanderer who has expressed sexual attraction to his own daughter, Ivanka, when she was only 13.

Kevin Smith is the pastor at Family Church in Palm Beach and also the former executive director of the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware, and he spoke at the first day of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), accusing some ministers of losing their minds when Barack Obama was elected president in 2012, and yet were eager to embrace the deeply-flawed Trump:

“I think some Southern Baptists lost their minds when a black man was elected president — not all, but some. I think some Southern Baptists were unloving to Black people beginning in 2012 with the killing of Trayvon Martin.

“I don’t mean agree about politics or policy … I just mean giving a darn that somebody else is hurting who is supposed to be your brother or sister in Christ, and I think some Southern Baptists just bent over and became political whores with this whole Trump stuff.”

But that was too much truth for many attendees at the SBC, with Protestia.com almost foaming at the mouth as it reacted to what Smith had said:

Not one panelist rebuked him for his insults and incendiary statements. No one corrected him for suggesting that the “some” weren’t regulated to a handful of isolated yokel hillfolk, but rather make up a large and significant minority. He had no proof that the SBC is filled with this rampant, overt racism that rears its ugly head because of a black man getting in power, and not because Obama is a Democrat with awful policies. In a mark of true leadership, all stayed quiet and let that linger for the rest of the panel.

As far as becoming political whores and bending over so the bad orange man could impregnate us with racial ideologies, this is not the winsomeness that he was insisting we emulate during his later conference talk that he gave in front of the whole convention, making him quite the hypocrite.

But the facts couldn’t be clearer, and they support what Reverend Smith said and completely demolish what Southern Baptists would have us believe. For example:

  • It took the SBC until 2009 to finally admit that slavery was wrong and a sin.
  • Southern Baptists were indeed highly critical of President Obama, even though he was a family man, had been married for decades, and helped raise two brilliant, accomplished daughters. Some of them even prayed for Obama’s death.

As we say in the South when someone is particularly upset by a criticism that cuts them to the bone, A hit dog always hollers.
